Week11
A mixed bag this week for HG Kush.
After picking off a few leaves here and there, I decided to give the Kush a pretty good haircut, on some good advice from my Thai mate Med.
I feel like it was the spark needed, as it has put on noticeably more bulk this week. It has been raining cats and dogs here all week, and poor Kush has spent most of the time in the shed. It sits next to a window so it gets good light all day, but no direct sun though. With plenty of moisture around the bugs are about. If you are in East Coast AUS I recommend having a real good scan of your plants, cos these conditions bring out caterpillars. They can be hard to spot, but anything that looks like rot, or any withered looking leaves around buds are indicators. If you can get em early itโs a bonus, but sometimes itโs just not possible to spot them before the damage is done. ๐ โ ๏ธ
Hi @Shooey, yeah, smaller leaves do pop up a day or two later. So, it is a couple of weeks for trimming. Actually, i do trim for a few days. Wife do complain about me spending time in the garden feeding mosquitoes rather helping out around the house.
@Med_in_Tropic, geez you are on to it med! I took all the real big ones off earlier in the week. Just the large ones attached directly to the stem as they were blocking light. I was second guessing myself but it's good to hear you agree. I noticed some of the remaining leaves growing in size, almost as though they realised they needed to replace the job of the ones I removed! Cheers med
