Welcome to my crib yall, I took an alaskan cellar - under garage- and made it into a floored uable 1000 sq foot space. cielings go from 12 ft to 5 ft, and the space is very consistent private and unused. I believe the temp is naturally below 70, closer to 30 in the winter maybe, and humidity is between 40 and 50 maybe. Ill put my thermo in that space soon, I am concerned the summer will increase moisture concerns and ill get a powered vent. Also, I need to insulate my hose. Well water at 108 ppm, its nice. I took a Walmart tent for 6 people and smooshed it into my cellar – with a nice 7 x 7 x 6 foot space. It holds all my stuff, my water, 2 fans 2 lights 1 DIY vent, temp controller, temp to cell phone monitor, mylar reflectives, its totally legit in my mind. Maybe my genetics and 600 to 1000 W of light are the weakest link. Plus shit hits the fan week 2 #spoiler. I couldn't find my nutes, did I buy bad cheapo nutes? General hydroponics cocotek grow a and grow b, nowhere to be seen lol. Just germinated my plants, the peet moss jiffy pots were an absolute failure. i think i might have had too much water?. the rapid roooters was much more successful - with atleast 4 of 12 germinating, but that still sucks. The seeds are of questionable genetics, but potentially 19% thc potential michigan northern lights - a medical strain from about 10 years ago or more. I will have to sex these plants once they seem mature and are ready to get 26 hour darkness- preping for flower. This is my first grow, but i like my settup. it seems very temp controlled, and i have a PH meter and EC meter in the mal. The real problems will be combating disease, pests, and appropriate waterings.

I started to do daily waters at the end, every other with nutes. I tried 1 or 2 days no water, I believe I've seen growth with every day waters so it may be because small volume coco with low humidity and high temps . Am I risking root rot? I thought it wasnt too crazy. Anyone have any suggestions for using LEDs, HID, or a mix at all times? The herbs under LED hav emore smell but the HID is probably more powerful. What do you think, 10W diodes 90 or 1 400W MH bulb. I couldn't find my nutes, did I buy bad cheapo nutes? General hydroponics cocotek grow a and grow b, nowhere to be seen lol. This is my first grow, but i like my settup. it seems very temp controlled, and i have a PH meter and EC meter in the mal. The real problems will be combating disease, pests, and appropriate waterings. Week 2 was crazy for many reasons – My grow LED turned off 50% so I got a replacement sent in. I got my PH and EC meter, and I used way too many nutes on the last day haha – about twice what im doing after week 3. I have just noticed on day 14 that my tomate plants are not only wilting like crazy but extremely nutrient deficient and overall hating green house – hydroponic living? This makes sense I think, the environment is different and their root balls were solid white dirt-surrounded clubs. Also, they had bugs to start and I nailed them with simple green natural organic cleaner – it was a nice success. Note: this isn’t cannibus but I read it was a good test of my greenhouse. I like building habits and making mistakes on tomatoe plants with pessimistic futures. My ppm should be about 350 or 450. My PH should be about 5.9 but I think the first 10 days I was way under 5.5 or above 6. Paper is not even close to electronic confidence in consistency. They only cost like 15 bucks each too. My plants stretched a little maybe? Or im just way too cautious on my first grow, but I lowered the light from 2 feet to 1 foot. Lastly – My father, who gave me these 100 seeds lol, passed away in my arms this week. It was definitely complicated my life and this grow is going to have up to 10 weeks of babysitting. The Veg cycle is going to go very long and the journal is more or less compromised. Thankfully it doesn’t really matter and ill come into this fall with a lot of knowledge under my belt. Ill also get better genetics, or can I save the seeds I find in bud? Thanks for reading – and I will infer than everyone gives condolences. Grow advice only please

Just rememberd I use lemon juice for acidity. It seems fine, my waters Is 110 ppm and goes to 160s with lemon and calmag to get to 5.9 PH. Anyone have problems with lemon juice and coco? The mixture is 65 35 coco to perlite I’d say. The peet moss still holds the seeds. Since my runoff goes up .3 ph and ppm is probably only 100 less than what goes in – thus 300ish ppm run off. Should I think about doing flushes? I don’t really mind 1 watering with to 1 watering without nutes. I like having ample nutes until I see symptoms of burn. Plus I anticipate going 13 weeks or more veg, thus I don’t want to run out! Pots will only get 3L large, fabric pots (vs clay haha). Also, I am growing herbs and tomatoes in this green house. I have ample space, I like having ample benefits. What are the risks? Sage, Dill, basil, peppers, basil leaves and sweet, tomatoes from seed, oregano, and maybe rosemary too? I can already smell them – again LED causes these to smell and HID doesn’t. but HID seems faster growth – thus I should use LED for flowering? Is that the idea. Life has calmed down – thank god. Im not much of a griever – especially with how much weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Fuck 2017 worst year ever. And 2018 will do down in history I hope as legendary turn around come back. I am a lucky human Look at this horrid tomatoes, anyone have any idea? I think adding nute water is helping – but the leaves are so friggen flacid and not happy with the environment. 3 tomatoes growing. After 180 ml of water, runoff went from 385 in to 540 out… I think after 4 more days the runoff goes down and not up ppm. Also, ph does not go up more than .4, this one was .8 up to 6.6. Today was 5.97 to 6.3 and 160 to 260 (no nutes day). I have decided to water every day until further notice. I hope I can go to every other day watering once the pot enlarged about 12 times to 3L fabric. I am in no rush – need a baby sitter for up to 10 weeks… Thanks for reading! Doing good, plants are growing so fast lol. To keep it short (this app lags a ton :( ) I see some discoloration on my leaves. I think my nute's are fine. Lately I've been screaming "this is not a desert " and spraying my plants with water. I think I've allowed water-sun burn? Leaves get too hot with my HID above. What do you think? Any other comments? LOOK AT THE LST lol, I think it's maybe overkill but I'm learning. 1 day andyou can see the nodes already on 2 of them

This week I learned from @fun_growing that I need to back off on light, waterings, and lst. Repotting to large 8 by 8 by 8 fabric pots should help. This is final size. Watering to every 3 day I'd say. They seem great and unchanged, all other herbs still thriving. I love this hobby Please ask if you have questions or observtions. Thank you
