End of germination week.
Seeds took 48 hours to pop, so far so good but the seedlings seem to be developing slightly slower than my last 2 grows. This time I am going with only 2 plants but I have increased the pot size from 0.5L to 2L.
Looking forward to seeing how these turn out, I have never smoked CBD weed before so I'm hoping some of the reports of pain relief & relaxation are true.
End of week 1 veg.
Looking pretty good so far, growth rate is starting to pick up nicely.
I have decided to do this run on a 24 hour light schedule, I will also try topping the plants at the 4th node which will probably be in a few days time. No particular reason for these choices, I am just having fun experimenting with different techniques as a new grower.
End of week 2 Veg.
Topped both plants at 4th node with a razor blade, bit nerve-racking but I seem to have done it correctly.
The left plant has some very early signs of pistils so I hope I have not left it too late to top.... maybe topping at 3rd node a bit earlier would have been better. Will find out soon enough I guess...
End of week 3 Veg/Flower.
Not really sure how to categorise this week as one plant has entered into flowering but the other is still vegging....
Plants are doing OK, they seem to have recovered from being topped well enough but they are not quite as big as I would have liked. Upping the pot size from 0.5L in my previous grow to 2L has definitely increased the overall size of the plants but not by a lot.
According to Sensi Seeds this strain is a little slower than most autos so maybe they will continue to grow quite a bit more, but at this stage I am thinking that 5-6 plants in smaller pots will be more efficient than 2x medium sized plants for these nano grows in a such a small tent.
EDIT: Decided 2 days later to defoliate the plants, wanted to get some more air around the bottom of the plants and open up some more bud sites to the light.
End of week 5.
Looking pretty good so far, plant on the right has caught up a little now and they are both starting to pack on some nice buds.
Still very little smell in the tent at this point, but rubbing the stems there is a nice spicy funk so I hope it'll make for a nice smoke eventually.

End of week 8.
Still going pretty good and I have noticed the smell a lot more this week, although I wouldn't call them super stinky.
Comparing to last week the buds have filled out a little but the plant on the right is still going much slower than the other. I was hoping to be able to harvest the plants together but that looks unlikely at this point. Trichomes on the left plant are still mostly clear so we have at least another 1-2 weeks to go on that one. From what I have researched CBD is at peak concentrations when the trichomes are milky, no need to wait for amber.
End of week 8.
Fade came on pretty suddenly this past week. Interestingly the plant on the right is also starting to fade even though the buds are less developed than the left plant. Trichs are pretty much all milky now so I think sometime this week will be chop time.
They are also getting pretty stinky now, even with a carbon filter. The parent plants for this strain are Skunk #1 and Swiss Dream, but the smell from these plants is actually pretty sweet more than anything.
Looking forward to smoke them and see if I get any positive effects from CBD.
Early review:
Plants dried out in only a week unfortunately because of very low humidity levels here, the flower still smells nice though and grinds very well. Have not weighed it yet but looks like I got about the same amount from these 2 plants in 2.5L pots as I did from 5 Purple Lemonade plants in very small 0.5L pots. Enough to completely fill 1x 2L and 1x 1L jars.
Aroma is really nice, musky and pungent but not at all sweet. Hopefully things will only improve with some curing time in the jars!
Effects are very interesting - just took a pretty good rip from my Mighty at 200c (20 second pull) and I don't feel 'high' but I do have a nice feeling of relaxation, particularly across my shoulders. There is a slight mood lift too, I feel in good spirits and actually slightly giggly.
Will report back again after the buds have had some time to even out their moisture and cure, but so far is seems to offer exactly what Sensi Seeds advertised!
This was a fun grow, the plants were healthy and apart from being a little out of step with each other in terms of speed to maturity they both grew very nicely.
As mentioned in my early review the plants unfortunately dried out pretty fast (~7 days) after the cut due to low humidity but they still smell nice and smoke well even without a cure.
The effects are nice and mellow, no real 'high' but a good feeling of relaxation and light mood so far!
Very healthy plants. Adding Ruderalis to the mix always gives you different phennos. They are root bound now . Maybe try 8 to 12 litre pots and keep doing what your doing. Because those are very happy plants .
@TastyBudzz, Yeah I am sure some bigger pots would really let the plants show their stuff, but unfortunately I am very limited for space (my tent is only ~3 feet high!) so these smaller grows are working well for me so far.
I think maybe I could go a little bigger on the pots for my next grow but I would have to do some training/tying down to keep them from getting too close to my light.

Looking good. Have you got some experience with this strain, because cbd isn't always equal.
I smoked some cbd from a xxxxxx. Nice effects! Free brain concentrate. The cbd on the gas station only smells good, but is more effectless than effective.
@KingSalomonsWeed, No experience on this strain before, this is only my 3rd time growing. I hope that the CBD values will be somewhat correct but I just have to trust Sensi Seeds did their breeding work correctly. It's supposed to be a 30:1 CBD/THC ratio so it should be easy to tell if there is too much THC in there at least.
I will provide a full smoke report once they are chopped down 👍
