My previous journal got deleted so here we go again. Doing a fully organic grow of autos. Germination date for Red Strawberry Banana and Runtz XL, Orange Sherbert is Sept 22nd. Gelat OG was added and germinated Oct. 3rd. Last addition was Bride Cake on Oct. 11th. All seeds were germinated in a reusable ziplock bad, in a damp paper towel that i used a mix of filtered water and 3 tsp of dynomyco so that from seed these plants will start with mycelium. Blood meal and Bone meal were mixed in to the master soil mix which is a fermenting living soil. All substrate will be recycled and recharged organically. All plants are in 5 gallon fabric bags that are 75% filled when the plant is placed in the rapid rooter soil plug then planted. I leave space for dry amendments, air flow, LST training space and so that i can bury some stalk to strengthen the plant's base and extend its rooting zone.
I am going to try to be more vigilant in taking photos and measurements in the upcoming weeks. Might even grab a photo of the master mix that is having excellent mycelium growth in my storage bin.
Red Strawberry Banana is the monster of the group. She is my biggest and thickest. I am going to up her feeding from the recommended because she is very hungry. Going to step up calimag, Big bloom nutes and move a week ahead in her feed schedule with Foop. I spray the plants every 3 days while they are in veg with Foop Foliar spray. I unfortunately forgot to take pictures of the other girls do to the amount of work and house keeping I had to do in the grow room. Picking up a ceramic dual bulb MH 650wattx2 light to add to my main grow room which is a 8 foot wide by 7 foot deep and 6'7 feet tall. The room was sectioned off from a bedroom. I laid several thick layers of plastic sheeting down, walls, floor and ceiling. The grow room has its own in wall a/c unit which allows us to add filtered positive cool air to the room from the outside. I am using two 6inch centrifugal fans each with carbon scrubbers at their terminating end in the grow room. One fan is drawing in air through a 6inch entry port from outside then pushing it into the carbon scrubber up at the base of the room. The other fan is sucking air through a carbon scrubber up at the height of the grow room and pushing it out through a 6 to 4 inch reducing exit into the room with a vent cap on the other side. I have three 46 inch oscillating tower fans that provide cross air flow from opposing corners. In the grow room there is a small air filter with UV sanitizer to health kill and control micro air climate. After my first cycle of plants are complete the room will be sanitized and turned into a clean room. The entry way is comprised of two black zipper walls.
Putting in 2 315W CMH lights in the room and rotating out the T5s over the autos out. Third CMH is on the way for the flip of a separate photo grow I have along side these girls.
