Welcome to my attempt to grow a strawberry sorbet in 30g of Coco... The plan will be to veg her for 21 days once she's out and then straight into a 12/12.
No idea how this will go but it is all good fun.
The container is in fact a tea strainer with 20 micron mesh. I was hoping it will air prune and I will feed by dunning into a cup of feed so there will be no down pressure on the substrate.
A solo mug grow! Super interesting! Reading through your lessons learned and itโs helpful! I might just try this for fun! Hehehe! Is it fun? Be honest! Hehehe! Hope you and your girls are well, buddy!
@Mrs_Larimar, great advice Mrs. L! I've been growing less than a year. You're right, every next grow I feel closer and closer to the plant and having that symbiotic, 2-way relationship with them. I will definitely watch those videos, see tutorial diaries and just keep on making mistakes so I can keep on learning! Thanks!!!
@Vincent_Van_Grogh,growing growing growin, documenting, asking questions and getting better step by step
when i started, i changed one thing in every grow, thats the way i learn
looking vidos from bruce bugbee, reading tons of books like ed rosenthal, kyle kushmanetc.... listening to other growers, and failing....
i learned alot in answering ( trying to anser) growquestions... and reading the answers of the other growers
@PurpleWorship, thanks growmie ๐๐ป
Gonna need luck. 30g๐ค๐คฏ๐คฃ. I want to pull an ounce of dry cured from her.. that's my goal.๐คช๐๐ป๐ฑ
Nice. I have a similar strainer I use for coffee when camping....makes the coffee taste like shit and was gonna toss it but now I will copy ur idea if u donโt mind :P
So it did air prune on its own due to tea infuser cup!?! Nice! I might just try this! Will probably use soil as I donโt have any spare cocoโฆ any additional advice for a first time cup grower?
@Theia, definitely my next aide project grow!! I do have some light mix left too! I don't know anything about EC... but I will read up on that! And thanks for the offer of advice! Always appreciate grow vets sharing their knowledge to noobs like me!
@Vincent_Van_Grogh,loads... lol
Lightmix I think would have been better then Coco. Too much time needed. EC and pH seem to be vital in such a low amounts of substrate.
Lots more I'm sure but it's one of those I don't think I have learned anything until I am doing it in a practical way..๐คช.
Good luck if you do one and I'm always at the end of a DM..๐๐ป๐๐ผ
