Seeds were soaked in water overnight, RO water (also used for general watering). Planted in Fox Farms Happy Frog soil on 10/17. Seeds gave way to seedlings 10/20-10/21 overnight.

i forgot to take pics the second week! this is effectively week 3. they are growing great amongst their table herb neighbors. Nothing has changed in terms of strategy. I'll be doing the manifold/mainlining technique on these.

filling out, but not much major growth, my guess is most of the growth energy is going into the roots d/t recent transplant. still, looking happy and healthy.

topped the one plant, left 4 branches instead of 2 because i felt better about it, not much more reason than that. I'll stick to the standard wisdom with the other plant. Got 6 or 7 potential clones going from this process.

The branches appear to be budding even though the plant hasn't been in 12 hrs of consistent darkness--the light has stayed the same the whole time. Is that a problem? Also, the new buds are looking a little thin, and pale. Possibly iron deficiency?

So here's a thought--initially this plant was grown fairly tall without any trimming, and the plant was sufficiently lush that maybe the top leaves were shading out the bottom leaves? Could that trigger a switch into flower in the bottom leaves? Thanks for everyone's thoughts so far.

If the packet doesn't say auto then I'm not sure, she definitely not behaving right for a fem. I would leave your lights on 18hrs then and see what happens.

Two plants planted at the same time with radically divergent growth. The big plant is doing great, but inexplicably flowered a couple weeks ago, so maybe an auto? but the other is definitely not an auto. Very confusing. The smaller plant appears to be coming back to life after it had a rough time adapting to the mainlining process. Might be nice to have the two flower at different times. 👌

The tale of two species continues. The one plant is obviously a more sativa-dominant autoflower, while the other appears to be more indica-dominant and photoperiodic (which is what I'd expect based on the package). The auto is probably nearing harvest time but I'm gonna push it for a late harvest. I'm a little disappointed that my $15 seeds are not as advertised, but obviously they're happy, healthy plants, so I can't complain too much.
