Day 1 veg - let's build some roots! As seen the little lady has got the first set of leaves out, time to call it a very time limited veg period. There are tons of things helping the little one out this grow and we may see over half an oz on the scales and at 12hrs a day, we know it'll be a hard pressed task to yeild anything major (2oz+), that said this run is a bit different than most 12/12 from seed runs I've seen.
1st - I did not germinate out of medium, this means there's no shock of changing to a new environment.
2nd - the pro-mix I'm using has activated beneficial bacteria and is full of mycorrhizae which provides a nutrient super highway and integrates that network between all roots of the plant. Refer to science lesson.
3rd - the tent conditions are cluttered but these will get to be under the most intense light which should also give the plant a jump in growth as I will likely only get to "sorta veg" for 3 weeks or until the plants are mature enough.
4th and final - I have the setup with the three to experiment with the middle area and seeing if I water the middle during flower if roots will migrate to the middle, regardless the mycorrhizae will network all plants roots to nutrients. Refer to science lesson. But this could give the roots a little more escape room to hopefully grow a bit bigger.
That all makes this grow a little different than the ones I've seen. Which is why I feel it'll likely yeild out more than a normal 12/12 from seed grow.
Science lesson for the week - mycorrhizae and what a fungal network can do for plants.
"The associations between roots and fungi are called mycorrhizae. These symbiotic arrangements have been found in about 90% of all land plants, and have been around for approximately 400 million years. Plant roots are hospitable sites for the fungi to anchor and produce their threads (hyphae). The roots provide essential nutrients for the growth of the fungi. In return, the large mass of fungal hyphae acts as a virtual root system for the plants, increasing the amount of water and nutrients that the plant may obtain from the surrounding soil. A plant that forms an association benefiting both the fungus and the plant is a "host." Large numbers of native desert plants are hosts to these fungi and would not survive without them."

@Exotic_Seed, soon I'll run a 5 strain exotic seed tent. I'm excited! This is purely to sample buds and see bud growth comparative to a full run with 4 weeks of 18hr veg
Exotic Seed really does have some amazing buds for sure. Keep up the amazing progress. Good luck stay safe happy growing cheers!!!!! If you have a moment please stop by my YOU DECIDE diary and place a vote.
@Sour_D, think if this turns out it'd be an easy way to pheno hunt without a ton of wasted time, when you see the end result you reveg and harvest a bigger yeild and take clones. Takes 1 whole grow out of pheno hunting.
@Sour_D, zkittles and liberty haze in the works at the moment. Have a sir jack 2 purple shot Gypsy Widow Gorilla Cheese and a chemdawg gorilla all going this time but only 1 diary I think this time focus on better details etc.
