Trying out a new method and as I have 107 strains now at my disposal figured I'd see these ladies out on a sample grow scale. Should get maybe .5 oz per plant.
Day 1 veg - let's build some roots! As seen the little lady has got the first set of leaves out, time to call it a very time limited veg period. There are tons of things helping the little one out this grow and we may see over half an oz on the scales and at 12hrs a day, we know it'll be a hard pressed task to yeild anything major (2oz+), that said this run is a bit different than most 12/12 from seed runs I've seen.
1st - I did not germinate out of medium, this means there's no shock of changing to a new environment.
2nd - the pro-mix I'm using has activated beneficial bacteria and is full of mycorrhizae which provides a nutrient super highway and integrates that network between all roots of the plant. Refer to science lesson.
3rd - the tent conditions are cluttered but these will get to be under the most intense light which should also give the plant a jump in growth as I will likely only get to "sorta veg" for 3 weeks or until the plants are mature enough.
4th and final - I have the setup with the three to experiment with the middle area and seeing if I water the middle during flower if roots will migrate to the middle, regardless the mycorrhizae will network all plants roots to nutrients. Refer to science lesson. But this could give the roots a little more escape room to hopefully grow a bit bigger.
That all makes this grow a little different than the ones I've seen. Which is why I feel it'll likely yeild out more than a normal 12/12 from seed grow.
Science lesson for the week - mycorrhizae and what a fungal network can do for plants.
"The associations between roots and fungi are called mycorrhizae. These symbiotic arrangements have been found in about 90% of all land plants, and have been around for approximately 400 million years. Plant roots are hospitable sites for the fungi to anchor and produce their threads (hyphae). The roots provide essential nutrients for the growth of the fungi. In return, the large mass of fungal hyphae acts as a virtual root system for the plants, increasing the amount of water and nutrients that the plant may obtain from the surrounding soil. A plant that forms an association benefiting both the fungus and the plant is a "host." Large numbers of native desert plants are hosts to these fungi and would not survive without them."

Sorry for the late update this will be a 6 day week. But there's really just not much to report as the grow is essentially on autopilot this time. Day 1 was a light watering and a planter rotation.
Did nothing but water this grow is effortless.
I don't even know how to annotate this diary this week. I guess that's all a part of a 12/12 from seed grow.
I may try lst this week for experimental reasons.
Effortless, the Sir Jack is probably my most anticipated to smoke.
The timer is on for this gal too, I guess 9-11weeks I'll harvest her so mid January.
No other comments for this week. Water when dry autopilot grow.
Surprisingly so, this lady is very short comparatively to the genetics growing next to it. As a Sativa plant I expected larger growth like the Purple Shot... idk but either way watered and rotated the planter today.
Day 3 I transplanted
Day 4 defoliated the decaying or dead fan leaves.
Transplanted last week due to root issues developing in a shared planter. After transplanting the lady stood up and was so happy. I feel the plant will do significantly better now.
I pulled off a few dead leaves from the pre transplant issue. Nonetheless the lady is happy and healthy. There really isn't much tricome development on her compared to some other genetics in the exact same conditions.
This week I changed the whole tent. I switched over to a MarsHydro TS1000 and have it cranked up to 100%.
The light came in and I immediately had to separate the controller from the light and fix the mounting hardware. But that led me to realize I can have a much more temperature controlled and consistent environment. This light is a cool running light.
Shout out to the light sponsor MarsHydro for the opportunity to break it in and let her loose next grow!
Alright boy-o!!! let's flip the script and do some growing, put what I can out here and see what we get. One thing is for sure...
Screw 12/12 from seed its not useful for me and I'm tired of the waste.
Oh, and ApPAreNtLy if you don't prove grow skills as a new grower, people get butt hurt and it only goes downhill from there... so here we go this tents about to get full.
Cheers!
Thank you @marshydroeleen for the light and let's see what this light can do.
That said, Let's talk set up.
My 3x3 is powered by the MarsHydro TS1000 and is being cooled via air recirculation. This is achieved with my 4" ipower inline fan.
Humidity isn't an issue for me by nature of climate. My tent temperatures are easily controlled simply by stopping air recirculation. It is dried out simply by restarting the fan. This is in pat due to running the driver external of the tent to provide a few degrees less in the tent. Humidity is increased by stoppage and this also increases the Temps very slightly until at about 78f.
Now all of this would normally be a chore to keep track of, however my yardsale score ($80) included a Titan Controls Saturn 6 with the photocell addition makes this as easy as plugging it in.
Now, if that score wasn't sweet enough it also included the co2 tank and valve to boot. This is currently set up and plumbed in the top of the tent. This won't be plugged in and operating until the first week of flower. Until then it's ready to go.
I filled my sub irrigated 3.5gal planters with SUNSHINE company mix#4 with mycorrhizae and watered with 1/3gal of water from the tap. The transplant went smoothly and we will start watching this lady turn things back around. This will be a good show of what the strain has to offer.
After a good thorough cleaning the tent is set and the ladies are in. There will be new ladies joining the tent in a few weeks but for now these ladies return to veg in peace.
I hope to turn this nightmare of a run into a sponsorship worthy run. So cheers to the new challenge and let's get growing.

@expertseeds thank you for the new genetics can't wait to smoke!
Cold as F! How cold? 3f cold.
So I set up this new tent and popped some seeds and was hoping for a smooth ride through the process but the good ol' man up stairs had a different plan.
We got so cold and windy here that is back fed through my in-line fan duct and stopped my fan, introduced cold air into my tent, and dang near froze my tent out. Temps dropped to 53f in the tent and naturally it was during lights off.
I caught it about 30min into lights off and transitioned the plants to 24 hours to keep the light and the heat going to keep these ladies active so they don't freeze and die. Worst case I'll support the new stuff with ties.
The down side of all of this is of course long light hours can make lanky and lazy plants. The seedlings don't do the best when in cold or bombarded with light, so 18 hours was ideal... then the Temps create slow growth for seedlings.
So all in all this grow is starting great.
Alright out the window for expectations and no sense in formal talk. These genetics were bought not sponsored, so skip the pheno talk and I'll get into my Offend mode.
Hope my grow is offending at least 1 person still as it's my motivation you know who you are.
I wrote this out 3 times now thanks to some awesome things... so a 4th time will have to hopefully work.
Let's start with watering. So I bought this VivoSun Tester kit off Amazon. I Un package it calibrate it and dip it in to my fresh dechlorinated filtered water to find it was ideal. So I naturally check my unfiltered dechlorinated and found the same result.
My water is ideal the PPM count is ideal and the soil medium is completely neutral meaning as it's between feeding all the nutes are available as needed. Suck it fool
When we get to the planters we have 3 gallon fabric pots I just picked up in hopes to get feedings and such under better management.
The light is adjusted up to help promote outward growth and speed up veg.
The environment is so locked down we got Temps humidity and co2 all controlled and everything is perfect for growing. So if I don't know how to grow then my bad folks and I won't see you next week.
So until next week, HG&HT!
Hey you beautiful group of fellow enthusiast and mediators, were back this week getting things moving in the tent.
This week a few things happened. And to put it plainly it's all a bunch of stuff covered on my VegtoOffend journals. I run 7 right now but have 15 total plants to monitor and take care of so here we go.
To Offend someone the most, I've got great new growth and it's not looking like it'll quit growing. Sucks for you dude. You know who you are. In fact I'd say I'd probably be able to out perform on each plant this grow than on any other grow I had here.
So until the next update, HG&HT!
The light got adjusted down to promote tighter stacking and I creased the light to 80% for improved photosynthesis. All in all the lady is looking great and I'm excited to see what freak of a creation I've made here.
Outside of that there's really no update just another week down.
Until next week HG&HT!
It's a reveg so thats about it. Just still trying to see how crazy this gets but so far meh I remain un impressed. For the sake of growing it to harvest is the only reason it still exists in the tent.
I thinned out the bud and removed significant chunks of Bud so the plant could send focus to fewer sites to promote better outward and upward growth.
Dry amendments added the beginning of this week and the excess buds have been removed.
We removed the lower slow growth as it will likely only waste energy.
Watering at 6.2ph will swing down to 5.8 by end of the week.
This last week the tent switched to a 12/12 and the plants in the tent all seem eager to flower.
I amended the medium with 1tbsp of an organic bloom fertilizer. A 0-1-14 and also added in .5Tbsp of an organic Calcium ammendment.
I have been watering in at 6.0-6.2 and have tied down the main stem making the top sites plentiful.
I defoliated all lower growth other than the top three nodes. From here out no other growth will be removed until 4 weeks left of flower.
The light schedule change to 12/12 and an adjustment to about 2 feet above the canopy were completed on the first day of the week. The stretch so far has been about 1.5 inches and 2 nodes.
Until next week! HG&HT!
The last week I removed all the sucker growth a low stress trained her over to get a few new tops. I also amended the top of the medium with sourced organic potassium.
So far the Sir Jack is looking great and hasn't suffered much from the light changes again. Pistils formed 48hrs after the light change I think she's finally ready to just be done.
Water has been PHd every watering in a range of 5.9-6.2 and no other nutrients have been added and no other watering done.
Shout out to Exotic Seeds for this champion of a strain. How crazy this grow has kinda been. From lack luster to potentially banging in 10 weeks, I can't wait. I know the early reveg trimmings were slammed with thrichomes and the Aroma was killer. Excited for the whole harvest and final results.
Until next week! HG&HT!
The Sir Jack got thinned a little and the top sites decreased to hopefully get some bigger buds. I have put her through a lot.
Watering at a ph of 6.2-6.4 this week and monitoring for any mobile nutrient deficiencies and will likely be feeding in some Epsom salts and an organic tea.
The light is now maxed out and is covering the area fairly well all things considered. The fall off at the corners of the tent are pretty bad but elsewhere it's all good canopy coverage.
Climate remains ideal and the plants seem very happy in the tent.
Until the next update! HG&HT!
The Sir Jack is growing well I notice there were some signs of light stress developing so I adjusted the lights up a few clicks. I also discovered a plant in the grow with pollen sacs developing.
The light was moved around until I finally settled at 17inches average above the canopy. This seemed to help the lady a lot. So the start of this week we will watch to see the condition of the lady as the plant matures. She seems to like the light just fine.
I fed no nutrients as I won't need to until about 2 more weeks then it'll get its last full feed.
The bud structure is really good on her so seeing the buds forming and knowing what they'll turn into I'm getting excited. The glandular hairs are starting to develop and mature into trichomes. The early frost has come.
The colors remain dark and absolutely beautiful. This is a very beautiful and healthy plant. I'm excited to see the outcome.
This week has already been busy. Now 2 days in to the week and just getting to the update.
For starters this week I moved the plant to a new location and then moved the whole tent and forgot the light and then for got a timer and then forgot to change it so the last couple days have been weird with the lighting.
Growth continues to be great and the buds are stacking nicely and the smell is getting very strong.
Ph range 5.9-6.1
Light 16inches 100%
This week was recovery week.
Watered at a ph range of 5.8-6.3
Light is currently 16" above the canopy at 100% power.
I rotated the plants daily to spread out the love of the light.
The TS1000 is doing great for my ladies.
Sorry late update late day will have photos tomorrow and a better description. I appreciate all the patience.
Update - tomorrow - I took pictures and made sure the lady was doing alright, nothing really to note the growth is great and the smell is amazing. Very sticky too.
Light is 17" @100%
Water 5.9-6.1
I mean freaking 23 weeks... never again for shits and giggles.
For a reveg it's a success. From potential 2g dried to maybe 14g is a good change.
We will see the end result either way we got a few weeks left let's finish flushing her and getting ready for harvest!
It's hard to tell in flower when the strain is ready as the leaves don't flush out and look like they get nitrogen toxicity but seems like a good strain so I already planted another in my next garden.
Still air drying this plant pictures to come.
Update after a week of drying they have been dried and one has been smoked.
The trim will definitely be used for butters for edibles and sifting dry hash. This was a super frosty plant.
@Exotic_Seed, soon I'll run a 5 strain exotic seed tent. I'm excited! This is purely to sample buds and see bud growth comparative to a full run with 4 weeks of 18hr veg
Exotic Seed really does have some amazing buds for sure. Keep up the amazing progress. Good luck stay safe happy growing cheers!!!!! If you have a moment please stop by my YOU DECIDE diary and place a vote.
@Sour_D, think if this turns out it'd be an easy way to pheno hunt without a ton of wasted time, when you see the end result you reveg and harvest a bigger yeild and take clones. Takes 1 whole grow out of pheno hunting.
@Sour_D, zkittles and liberty haze in the works at the moment. Have a sir jack 2 purple shot Gypsy Widow Gorilla Cheese and a chemdawg gorilla all going this time but only 1 diary I think this time focus on better details etc.
