Tropical_CIS_Garden 21/10 - We have the veg tent ready to grow this genetic. We put 10 Lima Haze in water 12h first then in the towel, wainting to planting in the soil. 24/10 - 9 seeds have already germinated, some lost the seed carcoal so we transfer them to the 1L pot with soil. Water them with 40 ml of only water and the ph in 6.5.

Tropical_CIS_Garden 27/10 - The soil has dried completely, so it is watered with 160 milliliters of water. 6 of them have already popped up from the ground, the other 4 got a little help with that, but upon inspection, they've all germinated. 28/10 - 9 out of 10 are up. The Tahoe Mango are in Turba substrate, so we top dress with compost to feed them. 30/10: 2 Lima Haze dried the substrate faster. The others remain slightly moist. However, watering is done since the relative humidity is low. For the next germination, more domes will be used here. 31/10 - Light watering.

Tropical_CIS_Garden 1/11: The total germinated and standing decreased to 8, which was the amount purchased. Not bad for what they went through. Currently: 8 Germinated, 4 Tahoe Mango added in Peat. Watering again but soaking the substrate, hoping not to water tomorrow. The first preventive foliar insecticide was also applied. Potassium Soap, Neem Oil, Diatomaceous Earth, and Acaridox (By: Sociis Plantae) 3/11: Did not water yesterday, watering today. pH: 6.5 EC: 0.1. All look healthy, some just need a couple of healthy leaves to start growing. The Tahoe are almost fully formed. Daily watering will continue due to low humidity. Roots are peeking out from under the pot. 05/11 - The days have been hot, temperatures have been high and humidity low, however, the 8 germinated seedlings are still standing. There seems to be a pest brought in by the Tahoe, so today a foliar insecticide was applied, Potassium Soap, Neem Oil, and Diatomaceous Earth. Soil moisture stabilized now, after the last watering at the end of last week, the soil was still moist today, lightly watered some dry ones and the Tahoe since the peat is drying out faster, daily watering will resume for them. 07/11 - Watering with microbial fertilization. 2L of water with 60 ml of Elicitor (Humic Acids with Plant Probiotics), 60 ml of Bioprotection AZV-C and FOSFORIN (Nitrogen-Fixing and Phosphorus-Solubilizing Bacteria). 5 ml of Molasses, 2.5 g of Elemental. pH 6.5 and EC: 1.0. 0 pests visualized. The seedlings with burnt leaves from heat spikes are already producing a new pair. In a matter of time, a good start will be seen.

Tropical_CIS_Garden The growth hasn't improved much, but the ambient temperatures have dropped, so there's a more suitable VPD. However, more humidity needs to be added to the environment to lower the VPD to optimal vegetation levels. They all look like they have new healthy leaves, but still quite delicate, growing at a slow pace. Watering was done on 12/11 and dried out by 15/11. Watering will be extended since it stays moist longer due to the drop in temperatures. The light was raised to 60 cm to help with the temperature. The weather has been cold, which also helps a lot.

Tropical_CIS_Garden Practically a recovery week for all. The issues with the extractor are already solved, there won't be any more heat waves like in the past weeks, where temperatures reached 30 degrees for more than 8 hours. The new growth looks green and healthy. It was only watered with regulated pH, no feeding. Trays with water were placed inside the tent to increase the average humidity, which now ranges from 55% to 70%. Exponential growth is expected next week.

Tropical_CIS_Garden Once again, the week was practically a loss. By the end of this week, today 11/28/2021, a general improvement is visible. But the recovery seems to be slow. In the Tahoe, it was detected that the soil pH is higher according to drainage readings. Therefore, a pH adjustment to 6.5 is being made; probably the same is happening with the Lima Haze. We will patiently wait for improvement next week, and Start from Mills will also be added to the watering.

Tropical_CIS_Garden Reinforcements were added to the grow room to prevent narrowing due to air extraction. Water trays are kept to increase humidity in the environment. Additionally, the temperature was raised a bit due to external factors. Finally, the seedlings started to grow and produce new leaves. They all seem to be alive and thriving. Watering is being done according to the needs of each seedling, using Start from Mills and maintaining the pH at 6.5. This round seems to be over a month behind, but it will recover and strengthen for transplanting.

This week's Top Dress got delayed a bit since the soil wasn't drying out completely, however by the end of the week, all were fed except the 4 Tahoe in peat. This week I learned that to fix soil problems, it's necessary to do it even if the substrate isn't ready, as it will save time. There was a flood inside the tent, 2 Lima got wet. Fortunately, it didn't escalate or damage anything. The dose used for the Top Dress is a bit high, however this substrate no longer has nutrients to provide, so a quick boost in growth is expected.

Tropical_CIS_Garden VPD Range: 0.7 - 1.2 kPa. Two insecticidal foliar sprays were done; the first at the beginning of the week, the second at the end. Water base with potassium soap, neem oil, and diatomaceous earth. Since last week, these plants have started their recovery, moving up from the roots through the stem and into the new leaves. Little by little, they are turning greener and healthier. The soil is starting to come alive; the roots beneath the pot don’t seem to be in soil. The transplant is just around the corner for this group. Photos were taken of the 8 phenotypes of Lima Haze and the 5 Tahoe Mango. Data will be documented to select phenotypes and preserve them.

Tropical_CIS_Garden VPD Range: 0.6 - 1.2 kPa. The Lima Haze received watering to form the living soil and activate it, while the Tahoe will be treated with Mills since they are currently in peat. A foliar application of Multisik (Potassium Silicate) was done at the beginning of the week. Insecticidal foliars were also applied to control mites; potassium soap, neem oil, diatomaceous earth, and Acaridox (miticide). Changed the light from 200w to a 300w with a flowering spectrum to boost light without increasing heat inside the grow tent. At the end of the week, the grow tent was rearranged to optimize space and light. Transplanting is planned for next week if all goes well.

The Tahoe are doing well with Mills, which is doing a good job with them. The roots are growing uncontrollably below the pot, very white and healthy. Tropical_CIS_Garden VPD Range: 0.8 - 1.2 kPa. This week we went from a cold, semi-humid environment to a warm, semi-humid one. This is to increase VPD levels with the lights on to encourage rapid transpiration of the plants and more active stomata. The soil of the Lima Haze has a high EC and very low VPD, which caused a rise in soil pH, resulting in lighter colors. The Tahoe have been fed with Mills, which gives them a stronger color and better development. Among the Lima Haze, there is a phenotype affected by a water incident inside the tent; it had a root wash with high pH water, which caused its soil to become unmanageable and the plant to experience nutrient lockout. Immediate action was taken, and it was washed with pH 6.0 water, and in the end, it was fed with Start from Mills for recovery. Despite this, all the other plants in this group have grown this week and are ready for transplanting. Due to space constraints, they haven't been transplanted yet, but it is expected to happen as soon as possible to avoid further delaying this group. This week there was a foliar fungicide treatment with Bioprotection BD Plus, Bioprotection TR + BSLIN, and Clonostachys at 60 ml each per liter of water. And the routine insecticide: neem oil, potassium soap, diatomaceous earth at 5 ml per liter of water each.

The other plants are doing very well, with more vibrant colors all around and rapid growth. It took a bit longer than expected to transplant; however, a much more solid root system was achieved to cushion the stress from the transplant. Increasing the VPD for faster transpiration worked perfectly, and this range will be maintained until advanced flowering. During the week, insect control is performed with potassium soap, neem oil, diatomaceous earth, and Acaridox (acaricide).

Foliar insecticide is being applied during the week (Neem Oil, Potassium Soap, Diatomaceous Earth). The plants measure between 30 and 45 cm. The second 300w light is being added. Now this grow has 600w of light.

The use of organic fertilizers that release certain important elements for the plants causes waste that significantly increases the soil pH. Additionally, a high EC and PPM causes exactly the same thing. The drainage water was measured and levels above 7.5 were found. I will continue to water with a lower pH than the target to counteract this effect. Also, despite the constant effort to combat the red spider mite with foliar sprays, it still persists. Therefore, actions were taken to mitigate the nests where these insects can reside and reproduce again. There are purple stems and leaves dying due to soil toxicity; it hasn't been a good week. I couldn't take photographs due to time constraints.

Tropical_CIS_Garden VPD Range: 0.9 - 1.2 kPa. The VPD was increased with the lights on to boost the transpiration of the group so they can absorb what’s in the soil. This week, action was taken regarding the pH issue in the soil, so watering starts with a pH between 4.0 and 3.0. When testing the drainage, lower levels are seen in the soil and improvement in the plants. Despite the action, it seems that at least a few weeks of growth have been lost in this group; recovery is progressing slowly for now. By the end of the week, LST training begins on the tallest plants since they exceeded 45 cm. Tall branches were lowered to level with the medium phenotypes. In the end, the canopy is at an average height of 40 cm. A couple of phenotypes are a bit short, but they look very promising. A modification was made in the room to eliminate a possible lodging for the mites (red spider). Combat foliar treatments continue throughout the week as usual. Among the foliar treatments, Thrico-Eco (Trichoderma), Alga 91 (seaweed), and Bicomplex (bioferment) are also added to relieve stress and feed the group, considering the issues with nutrient absorption through the roots. This week, photos couldn't be taken either; however, the next one to be published tomorrow will include a photo of each plant in the group.

Tropical_CIS_Garden VPD Range: 0.9 - 1.2 kPa. This group has been recovering since last week and is doing quite well. For now, we're waiting for the soil to dry out before watering again to avoid over-saturation. The pH seems to be a bit high still, but it's expected to drop with the upcoming waterings. They have responded quite well to low-stress training. Not much has been done beyond that due to the stress caused in the soil. There are 7 phenotypes of Lima Haze and 5 of Tahoe Mango. Flowering is close, but it all depends on how this group behaves in the coming weeks. It's necessary to make the switch when they're in full health to make the most of them.

Tropical_CIS_Garden VPD Range: 0.9 - 1.2 kPa. This group hasn't been watered in over 10 days and they're still getting light. The dehumidifier was aimed directly at this group, humidity has been low, and the temperature warm to help the plants dry out the substrate. The same is expected to restore the soil and nourish it. In the meantime, during the week, the older, damaged, and infested leaves were defoliated. Insecticidal and nutritional foliar sprays were applied to facilitate nutrient absorption. Adjustments to the branches with LST have also been kept firm, and those that need it have been touched up. The shorter phenotypes are already catching up to the taller trained ones. Improvement is expected to tie them down and give them another apical.
