Autumn Cup - Gorilla Ice Cream - GoG

Update 4 november: we clearly see that 2 are a bit bigger than the other 3 but this is due to the difference in days of germ. Not really a big deal as im planning to top them around week 2 or 3, for the rest all good, 5 of 6 seeds came out, lets see how this gorilla ice cream performs 💪😁 Update 7 november: 1 of 5 looks like it has some issues, leaves are strange and a very slow grow, see picture

13 november: nice and relaxing week, they are just growing without issues except the strange plant, that one was born like that, but im not sure if its my fault by having the fan too close 🤔 could be, but the rest are all good, so no idea, but anyway she's growing, a bit slower, but growing 😆

19 november: nice week, really notice a big difference compared to previous week, the strange plant is going better, a bit slower but starting to look like a plant now😅 i think it was due to the vent, some kind of air burn Next steps: transplant to a bigger container

Didnt had the chance to transplant the girls to a bigger container, but at least i topped them already, im not sure yet if im going to use 7 liter containers or bigger once and do a scrog, not sure still thinking🤔 but i normally top them anyway, for the rest a quite good week, the strange plant recovered totally and the stems are getting nice and big 💪

Update 30 november: Just placed the girls in 7 liter pots, they really needed a transplant as already some deficiencies started to appear Update 2nd december: watered with some voodoo juice, looking good at this point so nothing really more to add, i think i'm giving them another week before a 2nd topping and some LST

I saw some of the lower leaves starting to yellow a bit, the soil im using already has food in it so i think the deficiency is from the previous weeks as i was a bit too late in the first transplant, still i watered with the minimum dosis of grow and micro just in case, i also topped them again and next steps is some LST

A regular week, no major issues or nothing to worry about, i did sprayed with an organic bug poison but i do this always in the first couple of weeks in vegetative stage, bettet prevent before something happens 😁 The plan was to LST, but due to Christmas i didnt really had that much time, hopefully i can make some time somewhere around next week, i also need more soil as the idea is to have them in 40l containers

Nice and green😁🌱, i want to flower already but i still need to wait for like 3 weeks for my bloom room, but im going to use 40liter containers and throw a scrog net on them and take advantage of the waiting time, im thinking to put 4 in my bloom room and save 1 to use as mother and grab some clones of it, not preselecting the best of 5 plants but just to have 1 plant sitting there in case i want to flower more of them in some months 👌

Extreme stress week, I've lollipopped, defoliated and some more LST. After some days of recovery still looking healthy and green, going into a good direction, next week im putting the girls into 40l containers

The idea was to already transplant into 40liter containers but due to space issues i think im leaving the girls temporary in their 7 liter containers until my bloom tent is free in about 1-2 weeks, for the rest nothing important to mention, i did saw some leaves showing signs of too much nutrients this week after i placed some nitroguano on top of the soil so lets see during the next week, good think is that I'm about to transplant so I'm not really worried

Alright, time has come to start flowering, but before that i transplanted the girls to 40 liter containers and i placed a scrog net, there is only room for 4 big containers and a small 7 liter pot, so at the end i have: - 5x Gorilla ice cream (4 plants in 40 liter containers and 1 plant in a 7 liter) these gorilla ice creams are a gift from https://expertseedbank.com/ to participate in this contest. First week of bloom, i can already notice a nice smell 👌😋 the good thing of this strain is that she doesn't stretch a lot, which for me is wonderful specially if you like to LST and use a SCROG net, a lot of bud sites are visible, i need to see the buds and try it but for now i will repeat this strain for sure, totally recommended 👌

I expect that Gorilla Ice cream is going to be a really good strain, im very happy with the choice i made for my free seeds in this competition from Garden of Green / expert seeds 😁 it already starts to smell good and is starting to spit out some tricomes. Another nice week for my gorilla ice cream, shes already starting to get fatter and covered in tricomes, wonderful smell like vanilla, creamy, i can taste it already 😋 Good strain for SCROG as she has very short internodal growing and doest strech that much when switching to flower, i do want to add that from the 5 plants, 4 are almost the same and 1 showed a different phenotype, a bit bigger and streched a bit more (smell is exactly the same), but still very happy with this strain and how she's doing 👍👌🌱 Buy 1 get 1 free: https://expertseedbank.com/gorilla-ice-cream/

Another good week, some of the older leaves are starting to yellow, but just because they're quite far away from the lamp and older already, 1 of the plants continued to strech a bit more than the rest, but not a big deal i mean they are all frosted and white, with that great smell, really nice strain if tou are looking for something with high THC content Even if i dont win the competition, she's a winner already! This week i decided to remove the net as basically it was doing nothing anymore, i reallocated the plants a bit better, for the rest some leaves are showing a bit of overdose but quite expected as im giving quite a mix of food, nothing to worry about as the buds are getting fatter and getting more thc

Week 6 already, around 2 weeks left. Between week 6 and 7 i will already start to reduce the amount of nutrients, i think they will still gain some weight the next week as new calyxes are still growing everywhere. 1 phenotype show a quite a lot THC, the next time i will definitely grab some close for a pheno hunt 😁👍 https://expertseedbank.com/gorilla-ice-cream/

I think these girls might need 2 weeks more, she's still getting some weight so i continued at least to provide some candy, closely looking at the tricomes to ensure we cut her on time 😁

Week 8 just finished, i decided to cut already as most tricomes were white already, maybe i could left het a week more but i need the space! In general i must say its a quite good strain, nice smell and good grow, i might grow this strain again in the future 👍

Found 2 different phenotypes, 1 showed a bit more thc than the other and some kind of diesel background, the other one smells like vanilla, really great, as mentioned in one of the weeks, its really worth a pheno hunt, i will definitely repeat
