Week 4 came with a few issues, 100% self inflicted. The grow held at 1 to 1.1 VPD the entire week. The light was gradually raise over the week to 50% and dropped to 18 inchs by the end of the week.
The low dose top dress 2 weeks ago was a bit to much for the plants. I dont beleive it was the nuits as much as the castings. The overall color of the leaves got very dark green and P4 was the first to start to show nitrogen toxicity. I also believe that P4 was to first to show a possible magnesium or potassium deficiency.
I have what I believe to be a 1 issue for sure and possibly a 2nd. So I went to the community with my question. I got great feed back and was able to quickly verify the first issue of to much nitrogen. Shout out to @roberts he was able to help me out and give me a few things to consider for the future.
So 1 thing I have learned not to do is try to fix the world all at once. Meaning focus on 1 issue at a time. First since I dont have a ppm meter to measure run off. I decided to do a 1 to 1 flush with water ph 5.8. So 3 gallons of watered flushed out each pot and then hit them with a recharge watering. My thought here is flush out the heavy nuits and get new microbial life in the soil to start breaking down the remaining nuits to be accessible by the plant which should take about a week so the plants have recovery time.
This will push back my next feeding to week 5 which is what I should have done from the start instead of trying to get fancy and micro dose on my first auto grow.
The plants also got to top soil neem sprays, I will be hitting the plants this weekend as the lights go dark before flowering kicks in.
Pre flower is starting to show Heavy on P 2+3 on the entire plant. I beleive ther heavy nitrogen slowed the grow so my yield maybe small but I am shooting to flavor on this grow higher yields will come. P4 is working on the 5th node but is catching up in height to the rest as I gave not been using last but leaf tucking.
I am excited to see if this flush works out for me. This will also verify if i have a deficiency as well, the burn stops but the yellowing continues we will be addressing that in the coming week.
