Well I bought a heating mat and it really made a difference in the germination process . Put 8 seeds in the wet paper towel and into a zip lock bag . All 8 had very nicely roots about 1 inch long In 36 hrs . Transfered them straight into my grow medium and a nice little shot of water. Put my little clone seedling light over them now just waiting for them to pop up and into the small veg tent they will go :)
Starting week 1 in the veg tent . All 8 seeds grew into nice little seedlings . They all stretched to 3 to 4 inches . All are getting their second set of leaves . Just getting water for now . They are chilling in my 2x4 tent till they get a little bigger or transplanted. I am not sure I am gonna use 5 gal or 3 gal cloth pots yet . It sucks that I won't know the sex of them till they are well into veg . Non fem seeds . But when I do find out I am gonna take a cutting from each female and which ever plant does the best in bud and trichome production will become a mom and I will try my hand at a song set up :)
Just starting week 2 . These seedlings are doing great. I germinated some Romulan seeds as well so there is 8 and 8 . These 16 seedlings are going to fill the 4x8 tent . Hoping they show sex before they go into the 5 gal fabric pots but probably not . They are all labeled and numbered . Will be taking clones from them before flower and numbering them as well . Pheno hunting here so the best plant from each will be turned into a mom and grown off them .
Was a good week for these 16 seedlings . The Peanut butter cookies are growing much faster then the Romulan's. Transplanted the Pbc into 5 gal pots 2 days ago . Romulan's will be Transplanted this week probably in 3 to 5 days . Kind of wish I had an in-between pots size like a 4 gal . Got some new 5 gal pots from Ac infinity they are alot bigger thrn the other 5 gal pots I have . They are way thicker material too
and have metal eyelets around the rim, very nice cloth pots . Now that I think about it I bet 3 gal ac infinity pots would be closer to 4 gal . . Thanks for taking a look .
All 16 are growing like Champs. Peanut Butter Cookies are looking good but still no indication of sex yet . Haven't done any training yet . Next week I will top them in hopes of getting the side branching to start . The Romulans are going to go into 5 gal pots this week coming up they are just starting their week 3 veg and Pbc are starting their week 4 . This 4x8 Ac infinity tent is awesome and is being powered by 2 Mars hydro fc 6500 v2 at 36 inches and 30% power . Lol looking for a sponsorship from Mars lol I have 3 fc 6500 , a tsl2000, a tsw2000 and a weee little ts600 .
Has been a great week for the Pbc and the Romulans. Pbc were topped and the side branching really increased 10 fold . The description of them is they don't grow alot of side branching but lol top them and they really bush out for you. Romulans last night were finally transferred into 3 gal pots . They don't look very happy today but they will love me again lol ...... I hope . I'll give them a week before topping them too .
The Pbc are finally bushing out this week . Did some topping and lst to get them to bush out even more . The Romulans are falling behind though . I don't think they like the cooler Temps in this tent . Day time Temps are 71 to 72 f . All the Romulans where topped trying to get them to bush out now too . Still no signs on any males yet :( hate feeding plants that I know I am going to get rid of . Thanks for looking
Finally got a few males showing up . Lost 3 peanut butter cookies and 2 romulan so far. The pbc and growing super fast . They look like they are 3 or 4 weeks ahead of the Romulans. But there is only a week difference in them.
Peanut butter cookies are growing so fast for 3 of them and the other pheno is shorter and crazy bushy. Romulans have just not impressed me so far with their short stature and barely any nodes. This is the last week before this tent is going to flower .
Well this whole tent is flipped to flower now . Still waiting on thr sex to show on the Peanut butter cookies and the Romulans. Couple are forsure females from the roms but the Pbc are still in the air so far. 2 small king tuts in here as well to fill floor space but we will see how they make out in the next few days . This tent might get pretty light for plants . Not sure I like non feminized seeds very much . 3 of the pbc are massive plants and the other 2 are short and stout phenos ....... please please be females lol . So much time, nutes and effort have gone into growing all these plants .
This last week was good these pbc are getting massive and I think they could really put out so massive buds . 3 large phenos and one shorter one . One of the 2 shorter phenos balls dropped and was rushed to a buddies house . We are going to cross peanut butter cookies and gorilla glue #4. One romulan turned male as well . Those are just not performing very well they have double in size but they are not even close to how fast and big the pbc grows. I am going to do Kyle kushman chiropractic technique to all the middle nodes on the pbc and do some defoliating as well and maybe try to get the middles caught up to the edges .
@Sour_D, Thanks they are moving Long very well . The Romulans are a little behind the peanut butter cookies by about 4 days but they will all catch up soon
