First Auto DWC grow. Starting with super simple with GHE nutrients hydroguard and Armor SI for the heat. Tap water at 150ppm with nutes 300-350ppm per plant. LSD-25 and Tangie Matic sprouted 1st, 2-3 days later Blue'Dreamatic srpouted.
So far they're doing pretty well. During this grow I took a risk and bought 2x SYGAVLED 600w grow lights (actual power draw 264w each). Looks like these might have a similar performace to vipar lights so im very happy. Everything so far seems to be going smoothly. Some of my friends told me that the LSD-25 may not take well to the climate being an indica, but so far it's the biggest one of the bunch! One of the leaves was born with some strange yellow stripes, but it hasn't spread and asides from it everything else looks healthy and the plant has only been growing faster and faster.
LSD-25 is doing amazing. Started showing signs of what I think was N deficiency and upped the nutes to 660 ppm. 24 hours later she has just continued growing vigorously and the yellowing of the older growth seems to have stopped. 12 inches tall at just 3 weeks!!!
Tangie'Matic is the most stressed and while her roots are white, little chunks of root are falling off, but theroot growth is vigorous despite that.is showing what looks like thorns atthe bottom of some strangely shaped leaves. Seems like a mutation she's growing kinda slow but upped the nutes from 440 to 500 ppm she hasn't shown signs of deficiency but shes slow to grow and thin.
Blue Dream'Matic is 3 days behind, but she's already caught up to Tangie Matic at around 7 inches tall and seems to be doing well.
I'm noticing in all of the plants that there are tiny little chunks of white root flaoting around the reservoir. The roots are all white and healthy, NO SLIME/SMELL (it forced me to put a symptom) they're all growing amazing. It's been a week+ like this but they look fine
So I have basically decided to kinda ignore the root chunks floating in the reservoir becuase they just seems to be completely unaafected by it. Best I could do is lower the reservoir temp to 78F and that seems to keep them happy. Tangie'Matic is a 14 inches tall ath the end of week 4. LSD 26 inches and Blue Dream'Matic at the middle of it's week 3 at 11 inches. All in all im pretty happy. Smooth Sailing.
So far LSD 25 is finishing is 5th week strong at 45 inches.Going to start bloom nutes to control the strech a little. Tangie and Blue Dream are still in veg as expected since they 9 and 11 week strains.
Tangie'Matic finished her stretch at 42" now in flowering. Couldn't raise the lights higer on LSD so the top leaves have a little bit of light burn unfortunately.
Week 8 for LSD-25 very little purple but it doesn't look ready. Hopefully it will continue to fatten up in 2-3 more weeks. Tangie is flowering as well, but Blue Dream"matic is kinda stuck :( she has only grown one pistil and has kinda stayed stuck with no growth in the past couple of days. If she hasn't started flowering by Tangie'Matic's harvest I'll just cut my losses with her.
Well as expected week 9 and niether Tangie or LSD are ready for harvest. Hopefully by week 11. They still fattening up but things are slowing down a bit so you can tell she's nearing the end in maybe 2 weeks yay!
LSD's trichomes were 20% to 40% amber in some areas so I decided to chop her earlier than anticipated. Tangie is still going has at least 2-3 weeks left. I could have left her for longer but most leaves were yellow and I had run out of bud to smoke lol. Smells like berries, and taste kind of spicy and diesel. Full body stone one of my new favorite strains! Great for pain, sleep and hangovers.
@Bakeryguy420, I went based of trichomes shoot! oh well you live and you learn. The smoke is still amazing but I bet my yield would've been better if I gave her 2 more weeks. Hopefully I will update today with Tangie pics! And thanks for the heads up about the trichs! I'll be sure to give them the full 12 weeks minimum next time!

They never do I just know autos are different can't go based of trichomes. But I know it's like 3 week veg time 7 to 10weeks flowering based on enivorment etc. So they take roughly 12 weeks from seed for a full matures harvest I say. I just learned from my first grow. It's take time autos can be tricky but are easy to grow for me. I have12 now all flowering :)!
@Bakeryguy420, yep. Never expected the site to have an accurate time frame. Just chopped LSD a little early but she's still amazing and for my first hydro and auto grow I'm happy with 80 grams dry! Tangie still has like u said 2-3 weeks to go maybe a little more but she's getting so fat I'm working more on keeping up with the weight of the branches and tying them down before they snap before anything. Can't wait for Tangie, I'm excited!
@PharmaZ, I have tried them both but in this grow I am actually using sulfuric acid. I have found it easier to stabilize the PH with and I've found it actually works for me better at higher reservoir temps.
80 grams dry is not bad but there Ton more to pull of these girls . The last 3 weeks are important but still good just a noob here spreading noob love :). Let tangie go 9 weeks flowering you'll be happy.
