Tastebudz Bubble Runtz feminized

The stretch on this Fastbudz under a phlizon600 (a Chinese blurple) was so bad that I immediately bought a MarsHydro1000 - stopped stretching as soon as switched lights. Those blurples are not full spectrum - that said - in my very red teak cupboard the light spectrum seems to suit flowering, but the photoperiod reflower I've got under it is flowering slowly. Tempted to get smaller MarsHydro for sml cupboard but 2bhon - would rather get another MH1000 and daisychain them in my bigger cupboard and just stick to autos; mystery photo will just have to take her time. I expect some problems in the grow due to that stretch - as far as light / space management is concerned - so gonna hit her hard to keep her as level as poss - v HST for this poor little girl 😈 Still just misting but FPP is getting a little Grow Big in mister - that plant magic plus is awesome for water retention whilst allowing seedlings to breath Day 14 Two days after topping & happy with her color, growth rate "she's a suitor!" - I'm being so mean to her but gotta - she fought me every step so far so she's resilient. This main-line will determine where I go coz she has got a bad lean, which with her height could mean probs later. I'm hoping she's still young enough to phototrope straight again when I lift my light again. She's getting some secondary growth now because of the HST / Topping so I really want to lift my light in next couple of days. I'm just waiting on my Stardawg and Forbidden Runtz seedlings to get into full leaf before I do - FRuntz is there and can take it, just waiting on Stardawg Gave her 100ml water for soil activity more than anything. Just for the record - you will see photos in all my diaries of a reflower I'm doing on an unknown photoperiod - full story in unknown photoperiod reflower diary. This was in my grow but I moved it into it's own 12/12 so I could get on with all these lovely Autos - will be pusher her ALL THA WAY - so expect more pics of deliciousness 😍 Day 15 Omgosh, this plant is so hard to work. Gone for v short mainline - she's so tall that when she's bigger could snap longer - I don't know - think I might just germ the Fastbuds Big Bud Auto I was saving and stick this in my 12/12 - obviously I'll see how far I can push her HST - hate to give up on a plant so soon, The reason I am saving FBBA was to give her the space & pot she will deserve & thrive in - can't do that with space I have now - even if I do move TPP to 12/12. Typical grow conundrum and anxiety. Back to now - she is fighting back constantly - so she is thriving: color growth rate, RH @temp all good - that main line looks ridiculous 😂 will do another pic when she looks less embarrassed Day 16 OK She looks happier now. I still germed the Fastbuds Big Bud Auto as I have space for another 2gal and will keep them all in together under 24hr. I ordered 7gal fabric pots when meant to order 5gal 😑 so until I magic a massive grow tent then I will just... have to... make do. Seemed to have slowed her down a little with the hst but that is down to her stretch I expect - I'm not too worried though - expect her to be ready for next stage by end of week Day 18 She's recovering well - 1:1000ml grow big in 200ml yesterday. Going to leave her alone till end of week. Still misting Day 19 Growth and leaf size is a bit stunted - she is already being outstripped in growth by her growroom buddies. Still will plow on with HST. Misting Day 20 today or tomorrow those axils will be pinned down - today 😁 it would seem. She had 150ml 1:1000 grow big today

Day 21 Cruelty to plants continues - expect to top again within 24hrs! This plant is a masochist! She is loving the training and really surprising me - anyone who has read 1st diary entries on this one I was going to throw her under 12/12 by now - nope - REALLY enjoying her now - lesson learnt 😊 Day 22 Topped 10 am Day 23 She was thirsty this morning and had 2:1000ml grow big w 2:1000ml biobizz calmag in 200ml. Pinned her leaves v gently (just gravity assist) as she was in a bit of a pickle which way to turn lol Woah! That's a hell of a bend she's got going on in her trunk (just seen overhead shot day23) - I hope it will correct when I rejig the ties in a couple of days 😬 bend was a trick of photography - oh it's there - just not so bad. Day 24 Grow got seriously dry overnight - lowest recorded rH (39) - must be all the growing and drinking these girls are doing - gave her 100ml plain rainwater to balance the soil/water/plant ratio - rH 67 now. Growth equal across the nodes - don't know how coz she is a real twisted sister, but she is happy Day 25 Nothing to report. Just letting her do her thing for next few days. keeping eye on weight pot how thirsty she is. The fan has been moved from near Stardawg / Big Bud to other side of grow and Light raised Day 26 NOW she's tied down properly 😁 Thirsty had another 100ml plain rain this morning. pH checked soil: 6.5 - all lovely and now she has room to grow - 2nd light going in in 3 days. MHts600 Day 27 She is so happy in her new home - giver her another 24hrs ish to stretch her arms & then will start bending down leading meristems

Day 28 omg I need a coffee and a joint and then maybe again 😏 that took forever. She is tied down so nicely (if I say so myself), there was one branch I've left to be lead meristem for a while cos it got a little nick in it when tying the fan leaves down when topped, so it is a little behind and just letting it fill out before tying in next24hrs She is drinking! She had 2:1000 Grow Big & 3:1000 calmag in 200ml pH6 rainwater Day 29 Tying in Day 30 Hi there. Today is going to be a busy day - every plant needs something - two tops / defoliation / tying in. Purple Punch is going to lose her fan leaves in next 24hrs and get her 3rd top tied in - won't be long hopefully before start seeing some sativa leaves 😁 OK - CONFESSION TIME ... there is an outside possibility this isn't Tastebudz Purple Punch Auto but in fact Tastebudz Bubble Runtz Feminised Photo. I had a minor snafu at a critical time - both labels fell off the glasses when I was germing these two seeds, aaaaaand only one germed. I posted as Purple Punch because she was responding to training like an auto but mostly because the first true fan leaves were v purple in their stem and v dark glaucous leaf. I hope I'm right - I do not want a photo as I have just shut down 12/12 and the only way I can commission it now would be to use my blurple - which I hate. Anyway back to fantasy... the cliche of this mistake is universal - we all do it, we all learn not to. Kinda ups the tension with big reveal in wk 5. Temp 73F 59rH pH6.5 All v happy girls - they are loving the MHts600 addition. She had 200ml plain rain water last night. 8hrs later all fan leaves gone. Bit of dominance one side - adjusted light. Otherwise good - nodes straight and will be tying leading meristems down in next 18hrs. 😎 She looks a little scruffy but she's all good. She was thirsty again, so 100ml plain rain water 😧 Day 31 I could have left the fan leaves on an extra day and save me having to coax the 2nd nodes from 3rd top into a bit of growth. Pinning the next set (softly) for a day should hopefully do it. We'll know soon 😄 She had 250ml rain water - was a hot night - didn't get a lot of growth 😑 8hrs later well that kinda worked, not as well as if hadn't cut fan leaves off too early but, hey ain't that life. After 5hrs she had all her lead growth pointing up, so I unpinned the leaves and tucked them so weaker tops got dibs on light. She is looking fiiiine. Doncha think? Day 32 Slowly stretching her out. The short nodes that are lignifying I've tied down & soft I've left to stretch as much as poss. Hopefully all tied by tomorrow. Going to start adding nutes again soon for the pf stretch. She had 300ml today plain rain water. Sure she needs a kick. Day 34 Well I've been worrying about space and light decisions for days. Done now. Everyone is in max light & without any reflective material - I cannot put another plant in grow... yet. So FR swapped with PP but everyone else more or less where they were. Pink Tub has gone and wire intensive solution created. She had 350ml 3:1000ml grow big in 250ml plain rain water. She is getting bushy but what can I do? I stalled her by taking off those fan leaves on day 30. I've got to let her do her own thing for a day or two. I'll keep extending the lines but it's up to her. I'm not going to defoliate till end of week or maybe later. Day 35 Just thickening up, slowly moving the ties out onto these tiny nodes: I have to defoliate but daren't right now risk dwarfing her more! Just letting her do her thing... Will take some leaves of in next 24/48hrs 350ml plain rain water

Day 36 and where are all the flowers? Well I re-read the breeder site info on this strain Aaaaaand I misread 8-9 wks as the life cycle - when in fact it is the flowering time & it only flowers in anything 12/12 - 18/6. So the blurple is out of it's box after only a week! I don't get the stigma, etc (so am just not going there) but I do hate the color very much telling everyone I'm a growin 😬 oh well. She looks sexy as hell. She is an 11 week plant so .... I can push her to twelve, that means 7,8,9??? wks of 18/6. aaaand of course not sure if she is Purple Punch or Bubble Runtz, but with that flowering time and the fact that at best, /i have a pink grow for the next two months, wtf cares? just got a Storm Vaporizer so I do not g a ... I hate this plant - though she looks sexy as hell. Showing me up like some kinda dimwit. I am making some classic mistakes 😝 She had 250 ml plain rain water and of course getting some bloom soon. Day 37 Maaaan she is happy. Spent about an hour tucking. Just in case I dwarfed her (if she's bubble runtz) I have left her leaves on. Won't do her much harm either way. Tied a few third nodes down and getting some nice spread - but everything is up with this plant now Nutes today - 3:1000 of grow big, tiger bloom & calmag in 400ml pH adjusted rain water. btw if those numbers seem low to you - i am using a premixed soil & so far as I can tell, it's working well so don't wanna burn her. The bloom however will go up as the buds do 😁 Day 38 and beginning to lose all hope - not a sign of a preflower - starting to think she is Bubble Runtz - the most humiliating outcome. But bud is bud & got three fastbuds just about to start flowering so all good Nutes today - 1:1000 of grow big, tiger bloom & calmag in 300ml pH adjusted rain water Day 39 Bout time I renamed her bubble runtz - I saw recently an un-named master grower do the same thing so I feel a little better, of course he was only doing autos so... 😏 Got some good 3rd/4th node tie downs _ getting a great structure. What next? dwarfing or not, there is enough structure for the plant pot and a good pf stretch should fill her out, so thinking [a] defoliate at end of week [b] decide then if going to push for full flower and reduce the light hours further She had 300ml plain rain water Day 40 Took a few leading stems fans off - give the rest a chance to catch up. Couple of 5th node tie ins - she had 300ml of 5:1000 grow big and calmag in ph adjusted rain water Day 41 Sucked up 400ml plain rain water this morning. Been watering in the am. She could do with a dose before bed occasionally - keep trying to remember lol

Day 43 Night water day 41 - left her all day yday - 400ml plain rain water this morning. Getting a lot of vertical along the mainlines - No point doing any more defoliation unless I want a bonsai - so released her ties and letting her get her thing on - looking to put into flower inside of two wks Have a v odd looking setup for a scrog but pretty sure will work Oh and have officially acknowledged she is Tastebudz Bubble Runtz feminized --- and I am an idiot 😁 Day 44 200ml plain rain Night water day 43. Glad I took those ties off for the night -she really stretched. Tied her again this morning and struck a much better balance between the branches. 2bhon I could put her into flower now and am tempted - but if I wait till end this week and defoliate and next wk let her next canopy fill out - I will get a much less stretchy plant - oh yeah my weird scrog idea won't fit in cupboard so wanna just get her in a good shape for largely unsupported flowering. <<< Yeah Nah >>> <<< Going 12/12 >>> I would normally be looking at 115 days for a photo. Trained canopy again could be the same. However all these would have been in 5 or7gal - not in 3. Dwarf plants I have grown are notoriously slower. Given she is dwarfed in a small pot and not going to get bigger in leaf due to the extent of her training, I expect she is going to be a slow flower. There are already fine bunched growing tips indicating she is ready and 3-4inch stems on first node from mainline which are already getting stretchy compared to rest of stems As there won't be preflowers under 18/6 - I am going with fact I am happy with shape - expect another 8 inch spread each side from splaying, which is about all I can afford. I can raise the lights another 60cm max. The genetics suggest 56-63 days flowering so with slowness maybe extra week looking at 114 days - good enough for me. Day 45 Nothing to do. 5:1000ml tiger bloom and calmag in 300ml plain rain water Day 46 300ml plain rain Few mainline growing tips showing some stretch - will let them get on with it for a while before I tie them down again. She's got her hands to the sky and happy as Not going to defoliate for at least a week, - just letting her put all of her strength into the transition Day 47 Well sh*t the light has changed again! Lol - got another MH ts1000 for 24hr grow so get to store that blurple. She absolutely loved that light, but I do not - gives me a headache LoL Tied in 6th nodes and just loving her 400ml plain rain this am Day 48 300ml plain rain this am - no preflowers - jumped the gun a bit but hey - she looks good Day 49 Nutes 2:1000ml Grow Big, Tiger Blooom & Calmag in 350ml pH adjusted rain water

Day 50 400 ml plain rain - just drank up her nutes Day 51 400ml plain rain - prob need to thin her out for flower - instead going to lst the leading stems in the centre - try and get some 2dary growth and control that stretch and then see which other stems make it to the party by end of week Day 52 400ml plain rain Defoliated heavily for preflower stretch - took out all fans of strong established stems and fans of totally weak sites which I fimmed. Fimmed a few under branches. Pulled the leading mainlines out again - there is so much stretch so very soft, can't tie down so rolled them and the central stems that are leading - just to get them to toughen up. Exposed many who might be something - left their fans on if they wanna try. Then I decided I wanted to try the scrog idea I had and would you adam and eve it? It fit! Gentlefolks - may I present "disability_scrog". I had this left over from when I was real ill, and just thought with my cargo net from the car ... anyway I don't know what I'm thinking LOL. It fits - didn't take too long either but after the pruning and looking after my mite infested 24hr grow - I will save the tying in for tomorrow, yaaaaaay 😏 Day 53 Well yesterdays' defoliation has resulted in lots of stems going for it, going to hold off on tying in. Getting a good idea of the shape now - won't be long. 400ml of 2:1000ml grow big, tiger bloom 1:1000ml calmag in pH adjusted rain water Day 54 3:1000ml Big Bloom in 400ml plain rain OK - this is not a full scrog - the mainlining and intensive training were done thinking this was an auto 😏 so it leaves me doing this stinking job again - I swear one day I will do a proper scrog with proper ties from start and everything but in the meantime.... I intensively fimmed everything at bottom including their fans - leaving stronger stems to get more air & light. Under leading meristems, I left a few nodes and their fans for the general wellbeing of plant. The mainlines are still tied to get more light to the remaining branches I hope will stretch. As per usual I have two sap sucker leading stems that are screwing everything up - these are tucked and hoping won't hold up the rest from stretching. We'll see over next week if I need to lower the net or release her ties and unspring the plant and retie her in final position Day 55 Plain Rain 400ml Day 56 I reckon one more day and will tie her in 😊 She had 3:1000ml Big Bloom 2:1000ml Tiger Bloom Grow Big 1:1000ml Calmag in 500ml plain rain [she was thirsty] - last of the Grow Big for her now - Bloom all the way 👍👊 Great week 😎

Day 57 No water new bigger fan loosely tied her in and dropped net an inch - most hopefuls had made it up there themselves but some need encouragement - anyway pics speak for themselves Day 58 500ml plain rain She looks a little confused - she hasn't got all the stuff off from underneath yet - just letting a couple of latecomers get to the net, then I'll whip the lower factory leaves off and fim for last time Day 59 Just 100ml plain rain - nutes tomorrow Day 60 2:1000ml TIger Bloom Grow Big 1.5:1000ml Calmag 3:1000ml Big Bloom 7:1000ml Unsulph Molasses in 700ml pH6.7 water Temp 27C rH55 Last Grow Big - Bloom all way now Day 61 Got the temp / rH just right now she is drinking 800ml 6.5pH rain water in 24hr period - lights good height but loads of room to raise so that's cool. Checked for mites - found a black one a week ago and squished it - defoliation prob helped a great deal coz no signs anywhere of any larvae, Love the genetics of this plant. The uniformity of the leaves just stunning - would be a good mother - did try cloning a few cuttings but 3 wks into flower... It is a myth you can't do cuttings in early flower but it is way harder than doing them like 2 wks before and before you throw the hormones all over the place by transitioning LOL and as I can't be bothered to do it properly - they will most likely all die 😁 just did coz hate to throw away a stem cutting 😏 - lol they all died Day 62 300ml ph6.5 water Day 63 3:1000ml Big Bloom 2:1000ml Tiger Bloom 1.5:1000ml Calmag 7:1000ml Unsulphured Molasses in 670ml pH6.5 rainwater

Day 70 750ml plain rainwater just monitoring the tip burn - it's everywhere - so over nutes then - but not bad - so less frequent feeding - fine by me - slowly slowly catches the monkey 😉 Day 71 500ml in the night Day 72 660ml
