Finally (18-11) been able to put them under 100W light. Two bars on, one off. Watered with 150 ml solution. pH is an estimate. They stretched due to light quality/deficiency. 22-11: watered with 300 ml each. Increased Bio Vega to 6 ml/l. They're still stretchy. Discarded two.

Does anyone have experience with trimming off the fan leaves in the last days up to harvest? Specifically, does it speed up the ripening process?

Don't do it, she needs those leaves to make the energy she needs to finish flowering. Removing those leaves will reduce the amount of energy being made and will slow maturation, not speed it up! The theory that making a plant "think" it is being eaten so will make extra trichomes is botanically impossible and BS. A plant can only make as many trichomes as it is genetically programmed to, no more than that. If it were possible to make extra trichomes by doing something unusual, there would be books written about it!

I can’t wait to get a pack of these. How was the smell after cure? You did a great job

@Otter93, It' amazing, but it takes a long time to develop. During flowering and after harvest they don't smell of much... I slowly dried and cured the buds at around 20 degrees C with a RH of around 50 to 55%. Put everything in glass jars after around a month but even then it takes another two months to reach its peak aroma. What you're left with is a sour, medicinal, herbal smell that translates to pine, licorice, grape and sometimes fruity notes in a Mighty vaporizer! The whole project took 6 whole months from start to finish but if you can wait that long, this strain is highly recommended!
