Halfway through this grow, I have had to deal with excessively hot days where temps in the tent have reached into the 90’s. Which has resulted in some heat stress and has required extra waterings. I’ve used nutrient free water for this in between the regular feedings. I have also added an additional small fan for more circulation. This week has also seen some defoliation to help with airflow and to combat the rise in ambient humidity I’ve started to run the mini dehumidifier. These girls over all are looking and smelling good, I’m excited for these CBD auto cheese. No worry about bugs so far but the usual preventative measures are in place; slow release nematodes, yellow sticky traps over the pots, no sprays needed… yet😀. The lights are set at about 80% with the PAR reading about 800-900 ppfd depending, as measured with the “Photone” app.
Everything’s going smoothly temps are still a bit high during the lights on, but they seemed to have adjusted well. Bud development is continuing nicely and the smell is delightful! One of these girls has turned a beautiful purple the others however have not… yet? We will see I suppose. The feeding has stayed in schedule and the average humidity is under control with the mini dehumidifier. Still no sign of bugs either, hurray! My only wish is I had started with more of these, I should have started this run with 6 instead of 4.
Another week without much change or any issues. I’ve dialed back the nutrients a lil bit. Day/nights temps are stable and the humidity is low enough. Over all an easy run so far I wish they all would go this smooth 😁
It was just a matter of patience, this grow went smooth! I had a few problems with some high temps from time to time, but the stress never seemed to bother these ladies. No bugs this run and altogether they look great, I kinda wish they had all turned that beautiful purple color but they look and smell great none the less.
