The girls are looking good. Went ahead and gave them their first trim about midweek, trying to control height early. PH 6, 400ppm, 24/7 light at 24”.
So far the plants are staying really tight and growing as expected.
Time to make the hay. Did a lot today to start flowering, complete water change to go to a lower nitrogen solution, cleaned up all the dense growth to let light through the canopy, lolly popped to a small degree. We will wait and see how it looks over the next week.
First signs of bloom have started but seems a little slow to me. Raised the PH up to 6.3-6.3. The plants are still stretching despite the effort to keep them from growing out of the room, hopefully the stretch slows down.
Well, the stretch has slowed after changing to 11 hours in light. Buds are starting to look good. The plants are not taking as much nutrients so backed it down starting today. I may have to start bending some of the taller colas if the stretch much more but so far the light hasn’t seemed to hurt them.
Buds are starting to get more size to them. Did a partial water change just to be on the safe side as far as salt build up. Lowered the PH slightly trying to give the plants some glide and the ability to pull some nutrients at a lower level.
Missed my normal post on Sunday because of the China virus but here we go. If you want to see what happens when you are completely out of room in your tent see the pics. Foxtail city on two plants. The good news the smaller two are still budding as normal so not a complete lose. I turned the light down to salvage what I can.
