Germination
On Thursday added three seeds to 3 shot glasses of water. 24 hours later, moved to wet paper towel. Germinated Saturday but left in for another day to allow tail to develop to 1/4 inch. Planted in fox farm ocean forest with 20% perlite and sprouted on Tuesday.

Mephisto chreme de la cheme is showing some deficiencies. Should I flush and apply some 1/3 nutes with cal mag? First photo was taken today and the other was taken 3 days ago.

The deficiencies I'm seeing are magnesium or nitrogen. I would add in extra CalMg it has all of the above you need. Should not need a flush unless your EC is on the high side. Double check PH to confirm its not a lockout vs deleted resources. Happy Growing!

Is trichome development individual to each plant or can you determine how long it takes for trichomes to mature from cloudy to amber? I’m trying to get 20% amber but not sure how many weeks I have left. First plant is cheme de la cheme by mephisto and second is skunk #1 freebie.

Yes plants will mature at different times if they are different strains and if they are widely different phenotypes. Plants will also mature on the top most growth first and then work its way down the plant. That's why a lot of growers like to use the SCROG method to keep an even canopy vs a Christmas tree like effect of how cannabis naturally grows. that's why LST is very useful in autos. But your harvest time will be dependant on trichome maturity. 10-30% amber is best. I am for 10%. As for time left till that happens, I would like to guess 2 weeks. Its hard to guess as you just need to check every other day. Best of Luck and Happy Growing!

Flushed cdlc and s#1 both with 6 gallons of phd to 6.2 tap water which reduced ppms down to 300. Flushed Gc with 3 gallons of tap water and fish shit which reduced ppms to 800. Reduced light intensity from 100% to 85% due to plants showing light stress.

Got really bushy and would have been a good candidate to top. It was hard to water due to it being bushy, maybe some light defoliation might have helped. It developed some deficiencies in early flower due lack of cal mag supplied to it. Will try this strain again but in 5 gallon pot.

Easy grower, went a little longer than the rest but also yielded more. Leaves turned purple, maybe due to cold nights.
