Yellowing of leaves plus a massive fungus gnat infestation. Thought it was bugs. Sprayed with neem oil for a few days. Also struggling with watering schedule.

Figured out my problem. I was using filtered store bought water with no minerals in it. Couple treatments of tap water with dechlorinator and they bounced right back. Lesson learned... they were hungry and overwatered

hey Deejay Scuff, nah man it wont really be a bad thing at all, plants will flower anywhere from 10/11 to 14 hours, so dont sweat it, it probably wont even be felt as a disruption at all. just set it back straight moving forward and it wont even make a blip , i'm sure. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Some of the leaves started yellowing. I figured might be time to do a tea and give em a good soak. They look good to me but as a new grower I'd gladly accept some criticism or comments.

I just found a hermie in my scrog. I guess this is a sad day for the whole tent as I'm assuming everything will get pollinated now. Correct?

Depends. If the male flower is mature and has opened and released pollen, yes you will find seeds everywhere. If the male flower is closed and has not released any pollen, you won't find seeds anywhere. If the plant in question has many male flowers growing on it, removing that plant may be the best option. If the plant only has a very few male flowers, you may be able to remove them as they appear and this will stop all pollination, but you must not miss even just one male flower, as even just one male flower can release enough pollen to produce many, many, many seeds. If your plants are not far from harvest, it may not be worth worrying about, as seeds take 2-3 weeks to grow to a noticeable/obseveable size and 4-6 weeks to get full sized and mature. Remember too, seeds produced with hermaphrodite pollen will have dominant genes for being hermaphrodites themselves. They will not be "feminized" and are virtually useless to grow or breed from, unless you are trying to develop a line of hermaphrodite plants!! Hope this helps, Organoman.

One plant had some busted pollen sacs I found too late. Many many more had not opened yet so I sprayed with water then carefully cut out the affected branches. I left 2 colas that were not showing signs and will be keeping a close eye for new nanners.

I am noticing some cloudy trichomes ( probably 60% clear, 40% cloudy) I also am noticing the top pistils have started to just turn brown. Anybody have any insight into when I should start flushing? Does a 2 week flush with demineralized water at a ph of 7 sound right?

You are still bulking, and have 3 to 6 weeks left would wait as to not lose weight on yield. In soil a 2 week flush is recommended of any water. The point is to get the plant to start using stored energy and start showing deficiency at end as a stressor. So if you soil ph locks out that is fine. You want roots to stop working then anyway. Only way a flush is not needed is if you are not providing decent nutrition. Flushing makes a huge difference and have tested it myself. Bud will have a bitter nasty taste if nutrition is still in the plant. I have done the experiment that noone seems able to find on the net, and yes flushing is required in indoor growing for sure. 2 weeks soil 1 week hydroponic. Providing extra potassium and phosphorus is ideal in flowering for denser, and potency of buds. Very light nitrogen at your stage. Buds will also be dense depending on how many grow points your running. More can make it less dense few will make it more dense for future grows. Good luck mate and enjoy the harvest in about a month 👍 🤜🤛🌱

Hey folks! Got a question about giving fresh water to finish. I bought some demineralized water to give them for the last week. The problem being I can't seem to get a reading on ph. I'm assuming because there's no ions in the water . Is this stuff ok to use opposed to distilled?

As long as your using fresh water with no added nutrients and the PH isn’t drastically off you’ll be fine. You aren’t wanting your plants to uptake nutrients from medium (soil, coco etc) any more, so nutrient lockout due to the PH being off shouldn’t be a worry. The principle of flushing of flushing is to flush out the nutrients you’ve been feeding your plants from the medium so that the plants can use up what has been stored in its leaves. Good luck bro 💪

Beyond excited. One plant had some amber trichomes on it so I gave it the chop. The others seem to be about a week to go yet. Just giving demineralized water but unsure of the ph because my pen won't grab a reading. Surely better than tap water though so, meh.

This strain was very easy to grow. I abused the hell outta them and they still produced a fair amount of bud. I would have liked to let them flower for another week or so but I needed the flower tent in a bad way and couldn't wait any longer. The truth lies in the dried weight so I'm excited to see the results of that. I don't think the buds are as big as I originally expected but we will see! Stay tuned for an update
