Barney's Farm didn't let us down and all 12 of our seeds sprouted out of their Root Riot cubes π
We decided to skip moving our seedling into intermediary pots, instead we re-potted them directly in their final 19L pots.
We laced each of the planting holes with 1g of Platinium Hydroponics' Invasion T (Trichoderma powder) before gently placing in each seedling. Then, we prepared a solution containing Formulex and Green Fuse ROOT stimulator from Growth Technology, as well as Rhizoponics from Platinium Hydroponics, making sure pH was at 6.0 and EC in the range of 0.8-1.0. Each plant was watered thoroughly until runoff.
After that, the pots were placed in their Autopot trays and moved in the 150x150 cm main tent. We decided to provide a bit of extra CO2 by hanging three "Smart CO2" bags over our plants.
After using a single Sanlight Evo 5-150 for a day we realized overheating wouldn't be a problem with these brilliant LED lights. So the next day we switched on the other one! π½π We are currently running them at 40 % brightness, 40 cm above the top of our tallest plant. The day temperature inside the tent stabilizes at 26 C with 65-70 % humidity.
All 12 of our babies look great and are growing their first set of true leaves (except #5 who is lagging a bit). There has been a problem with thrips around the growing place and we have hoped that they don't infestate our grow tents. Some thrips have been seen flying around the grow room. The infested plants have been bug sprayed outside the grow room.
It was a tough week setting things up, but we are proud of ourselves! πͺ
