Soaked the seed in water for 24 hours. After that, I planted the seed directly into the FFOF mix. After about 2 days she sprouted!!
Has some interesting red on the tips of the first set of the leaves.
I think she's experiencing just a bit of nute burn. I experienced this just a little bit last time around. The FFOF mix must be just a bit high for her as a seedling, but she's hanging in like a champ!
This gal is doing great. After those few signs of nute burn last week, she really took off this week and is loving life! I plan to start giving nutes to her (light nutes) this week
Did some slight defoliation. She started to show some signs of pre-flower. Not sure why. Definitely been under a steady 18/6. My only thought is maybe she's starting to become rootbound somehow? Either way, decided to flip to 12/12 tonight.
Did some minor defoliation. Not a whole lot to do. I just removed a couple of the large fan leaves to get some light down to the lower branches. She's looking good overall. Definitely taking off as far as height goes.
Still developing well. Some nice bud development happening this week. She's definitely the tallest of the plants by a long shot. Not too much trichome development yet, but I imagine I should start seeing those fairly soon.
She's looking good! She's definitely done with the stretch and is just focusing on bud development. She really has been a breeze for the most part so far.
Still coming along nicely. I might need to water a little more. She seems to be feeding pretty heavy these days. Buds are stacking up and fattening up as well!
She's looking beautiful. Some orange hair is starting show and it's just looks soo pretty. Trichomes are starting to really show now, but this pheno definitely looks pretty similar to my last run with LB. Should match up pretty close to Mountaintop Mint's harvest time!
The buds are bulking up quite a bit! Overall this plant is looking pretty good, but I can tell she's about to start fading. I think it'll be just in time for a good harvest window still!
She's really starting to show some nice fading. The yellow fading into green is such a pretty color combo. She's fading pretty quickly in comparison to the Mountaintop Mint and she still has at least 2 more weeks. I'm going to start flushing but I hope she can push through and keep the bud development going!
Did some super light defoliation this week. Getting some of the really dead fan leaves off. I'm hoping to see this plant ripen up quickly in the next couple of weeks. I'm going to let her go to week 11 at the most, but would like to chop at 10 if possible.
The top bud is getting massive and honestly seems a bit too heavy for the stalk. The plant sways and bends very easily so I'm being extra fragile when working with it.
I straight up flushed this week. Going to keep doing so until harvest at this point.
Still just flushing away at this point. She's a slow ripener, but damn that top bud is getting nice and fat. The side buds are doing alright, but that main cola is looking great. I'm giving her one more week then chopping her no matter what on Thursday.
I really don't love growing this plant. It's a long flowering plant that just feels like forever to work with. But it's great to smoke and can put people in a great mood.
Definitely a daytime strain. Sativa-like for sure, however it does have a calming effect towards the tail-end of the high.
I really like this strain, but it takes SOOO long to flower. I don't think I'll run this strain again in the near future, but it may be a great outdoor candidate! The top bud got nice and fat on this gal!
