I can't believe how quickly this plant has grown. Just giving it drips of water every other day.

I think I'm able to lower the light now she seems to want more light. Still just giving her drips of bottled water because of the Miracle Grow soil. She is really bushy.

Still watering with plain bottled water. I tested the soil PH and its 5.3 so I added two tablespoons of lime hoping that will increase the pH correctly. I raised the light up a couple inches.

I broke the top off the main Cola doing LST. Since the seed was a freebie I'm not sure if it's an Autoflower or a photo. So I'm not sure how the plant is going to react to being topped.

She's growing pretty well. I'm counting about 12 main colas. I took off a couple big fan leaves just open it up for air flow.

Day 42 and I'm switching to 12/12 light schedule. If she grows 50% in height I'm going to run out of room since I can only raise the light another 9 in. This is my first photo-period plant so I really don't know what to expect when she has her growth spurt.

A little bit of nutrient burn on the tips not too bad though. Starting to smell a little skunky! She's continuing to grow a little bit but I think the growth spurt is over. She actually is two inches shorter than last week because I moved the taller cola in the SCROG net so it's actually not as tall as it was. Still no major problems!

Another uneventful week. I'm watering her every 3 days with one gallon of water and nutes. She grew two inches from last week. I upped the pH using baking soda in case there's a nutrient lockout of cal and mag. That's why the ppm's got so crazy high.

Looks like I have a magnesium deficiency? And I think I pushed the nutrients too much. Doubled up on the cal mag and lowered the nutrients to see what happens. Growth has stalled out so I'm hoping she's going to put her energy into the buds now. Yes, I am using Maxi Bloom. I forgot to update the nutrient schedule. I am monitoring PPM and PH runoff. I'm targeting a 6.5 pH runoff, and my runoff PPM has been 20% higher than what I've been feeding. Edit from the future... was this plant already root bound?

I have black spots and burnt edges on a couple leaves. Some of the leaves are also curling down which I'm guessing is too much nutrients.

Some of the tips in the plant have a downward point to them, that is reminiscent of to much nitrogen. But only some of the new growth have it so that's a good thing. To much Nitrogen can lock out calcium. The spots do look like a calcium and magnesium deficiency, so it could be to it need more or its locked out. The ratio or concentration of that brand of calmg is 3.2%Ca to 1.2%Mg, ruffly 3:1, ideal is 2:1 its feeding recommendations are 2.5-5ml but can not find out if that's per L or Gal to compare it your grow. Have you monitored the run off PPM? Maybe all the right amount of nutrients are going in but there is to much salt buildup cause lock out. If your PPM is 100+ higher then what it is going in you need to do a flush. Good Luck and Happy Growing.

Not much to report. She has stopped growing in height but I believe the buds are starting to chunk up a little bit. I can see the fan leaves starting to get frosty. Still coping with what I believe is cal-mag deficiency. The runoff PPM has come down but the pH has gone up. Salt buildup as someone has suggested? It's taking a lot more water before the runoff is coming out so I believe the 3 gallon pot is getting filled up with roots. Too late to transplant. 1/23 decided to water with two gallons of water because the runoff PPM was 2100 after 1 gallon, after the second gallon it was down to 1600. I'm going to attribute the PPM to the Miracle Grow soil I used. Edit from the future... was this plant already root bound?

So I think I have potassium deficiency. Starting to get a stronger smell when I open up the cabinet. It's getting frostier everyday! Edit from the future... was this plant already root bound?

So I don't know if I'm battling a magnesium or phosphorus deficiency. I'm going with phosphorus. I got some Bio bud which is supposed to be a bloom booster. I'm getting super high PPM in my runoff so I decided to flush it with 2 gallons of water with only 2 teaspoons of the BioBud. 185 in and 1200 out? I'm thinking it's residual nutrients from the Miracle Grow dirt.

I've been flushing her with two gallons of pH'd water and a little of the Bio Bloom trying to get the run off down from 1700's. After 2 flushings this week PPM is down to 600. I looked back at one of my other diaries where I noted that 3/4 of a teaspoon per gallon was all I need of the MaxiBloom. The leaves are looking like s*** but the buds seem to be growing!

I think I was too late adding the bloom nutrients. Week 8 she developed a black spot and I didn't add the BioBud until week 13.
