More of the same. Drooping here and there. Haven't figured out the cause yet. I would think underwatering could be the culprit but they don't stand up after a dousing. .25 gal every other day. Let me know what yall see and leave any suggestions or comments. Have a great day! Since my last post I've added a small heater with sensor..going to give them 4 hrs dark during early afternoon and see if my heater and dehumidifier can keep numbers ideal..🤞🤞
They need to sleep. Plants stop photosynthesis at night . After snacking on sunlight all day long, plants dedicate their nighttime hours to metabolizing the energy they've absorbed. By the next morning, 95% of their starch reserves is converted into sugar, providing nutrition to the plant and enabling it to grow.
Hello MBnVA you have a deficience of nitrogen. In fact with the switch in flowering your plant had use her reserve of nitrogen in her leaves because there is not enough available in the soil. You have to increase it but not too much because it is not good to give too much nitrogen during the flowering. Good luck. Bye
Any advice? I'll take it..is the drooping Zkittles because of the training? It stretched quickly during the first few days with the diff. light schedule and light height. Yellowing is a Nitrogen deficiencie?? just trying to optimize my grow..should I remove more leaves?
Hey there you have a bit of P-related symptoms looks like to me . You're feeding P so it's probably a lock out . The issue is you're not measuring the PPM/EC of your inputs so you probably went a bit overboard and locked them out. Try feeding twice with plain water, then one feed then twice with plain water again. Hopefully following this pace will help you avoid this kind of issue from now on. Hope this helps ! 🚀
Looking for advice on all! Yellowing from bottom up..they have a ways to go as I'm on week 6-7. I have the FoxFarm trio and plan to go about 1/3 of recommended dosage according to their chart..I started them but maybe early as I'm using FoxFarm soil and it might have been too muc
Your soil nutrients are depleted 4-6 weeks tops, they def need some nutrient love asap, follow fox farms regiment for introducing their nutrients, dont full dose them right away.
Looks ready now , maybe 1 week to go, but depends on trichomes, have you any pocket microscope or at least magnifying glass to check them out. I do somewhere around 70% of cloudy and 30% of amber ,more amber more couch lock high.
I think you need to up or change your nutrients as those are way to yellow for this early on .
You can all so do a pH test on run off of your water to see if it's high
@MBnVA,
Unless your in hydro I'd forget about ph water untill you see any problems or.you ph of tap.water is 8 or above as the soil will buffer the water .
Soil growing such be easy water when your pots get light and feed around once or twice depending on how good your soil is .if you've amended the soil only feed once you see some leafs lightening .
Don't forget unlike hydro it can take a good 7days before you see any changes you make
@MBnVA,if your in soil no need tomph as your soil will.buffer it .
I see it's week six for you I would feed a little more frequently. If your feeding once don't twice a week
Only problem with natural or organic is by the time you see a problem it can be too late sometimes .
Nxt time you use soil I would add some warm castings as this will help a lot
@Medifarmer,
Yes I've been concerned as well. I posted a question about them due to your comment and want to maximize their potential for sure. I'm going to start the FoxFarm trio at 1/3 strength next watering. Are you thinking that they're in need of more than that? Hoping to make it to the finish line! Waters Ph' d to 6.3-6.5 and soil test out at 6.8-7..although I haven't tested runoff yet. I don't have a Ppm meter as of yet either..
I read your question and looked through your diary. You and I are on similar time tables with our grows....I’m just a couple weeks ahead.
Are you growing In Fox Farms Ocean Forest??
I see where you’re using their nutes and thought maybe their soil as well.
I’m giving it a try for the first time.
If you are, I can say that it is amended heavily and I wouldn’t suggest anything other than water for the first 30-40 days.
Also, I’ve found that things go better when I water less often, but really saturated the entire medium when I do.
Of course if you’re not using FFOF my comments are not really helpful.....except the watering process.
One last thing....many growers will trim off the very bottom growth that is generally yellowing and will be insignificant in the long haul.
Any growth that is in contact with the soil invites pests.
Good luck
@Bullmark,
I am using FF soil as well. Watered today and the ones that are dry have much more perk to them. Took them out the tent to take pics I'll post soon. Thanks for checking it out and the advice. I removed a few more bottom yellowing leaves but a little hesitant to do.it heavily..I'll keep an eye on your page as all the info I can compare will help for sure. ✌️
I just realised your growing zkittles it's a badtered to grow .
I had some from nivarna and what ever I did wasn't right .
I added a.small.amount of Epson salts and the nxt day it looks as if I'd gone in a dumped them in straight notes.
Your leaves look like a.classic lock out with fert burn .
Yellow leaves and burnt tips .
Have you calibrated you ph pen .
Your buds will start stacking on the weight now 🙏💚
I see you have had some deficiencies do you check the ph of the run off??
I previously struggled with the same issues and often it's ph issues causing nutrient lock out so it's worth watering until you get enough run off to test the ph every so often
Best of luck with the rest of your grow 🌱 🙏
@Growingkitten,
Thanks. I have my fingers crossed that it turns out. I've had some comments that made me question somethings. So I'm taking the advice and trying to learn as much as possible. Thanks for stopping by and keep in touch.
