Howdy. Been busy. Gitls have gone crazy. I can't move tgem around anymore ot the weight of the buds supercrops the stems. So sticky, i have to take a shower after an inspection because I'm stinky n sticky. Sooooo fat
When counting nodes for the first topping, which node is number 1? The cotyledons? First single serrated leaf? 1st 3 fingered leaf? I'm counting pairs of leaves as those are where the nodes are, just not sure which to count as number 1. Personally, i say first 3 fingered leaf
Hey bro,, I start from the first set of true leaves, or 3 fingered leaves.
Mainly itβs important to be well enough established to recover without too much shock
@Benzels, Gruntz produced as much bud as Plugger after the bud rot was pulled. Would love to have seen another two weeks worth though as they both had different bud structure
The critical may pop still.it took my og kush almost 3 weeks and the rest are now way ahead of it so I have to veg extra weeks but it did finally pop and looks real good and catching up fast.the critical gets huge if it grows so the gorillas may be fighting for space but it will look nice and fill out your tent nicely...one huge critical surrounded by gorillas sounds good to me :)
Thanks @Shooey, I've never grown buds that big mate, so i was totally unprepared. Got a scrog net for growth support next time. Then the humidity, who could've prepared? I just hope i have enough to get me through to next harvest. I've got to tidy up and restructure my set up, including trying to stop a dirt shed floor from flooding before i even start on next crop.
Im still not convinced the "runts" are not just a shorter phenotype as i kept a runt out of a batch of seeds I grew for a mate, and she turned out to be amazing. The seem to catch up in bud dont they and while not the biggest plants, often they have the best bud of the lot. Id go so far as to say i maty actually seek out a runt in next batch of seedlings just to confirm if my hunch is true. Be funny if it turns out these "runts" are actually just smaller, more potent phenotypes hey?
@Mr_Death_himself, yeah they were a couple of cool plants you had- now get this, im one of those people who gives names to everything.. even if it already has a name.. lols. But fuck knows why but Ive never even thought of naming my plants til now. So cheers for that. Now I have to name them..lols.
And speaking of structure- I have 4 plants on the go now and all 4 were trained massively different- depending on how well they were doing or how much i expected out of them they got looked after better or ignored more. Abusive gardening at its finest...lmao.
They all ended up looking so diff its a shame they grew into each other and you cant see it clearly. I only planned to do two plants but got stuck with a runt I decided to plant-the bc buds hash plant, and my project plant Lemon Haze x sour Diesel that has gone full sativa on me and is only showing flowers just now. Once I defol them a bit more you gotta see how weirdly diff they are- bugs FIMed the caramelo for me way too early so it was never going to be a normal plant. Plus my way of training - the Zkittlez is prime example- is just weird anyways. You can see from the pic where i split the main stem- I train my plant into two seperate plants sharing one main stem basically. So wider not longer means she is just over 4ft long by 5 ft wide now. Totally un even but the plant balances itself so it works for me.

Great job on the Gorilla Glue mate
Very unlucky with the rot and getting flooded out,
Itβs always an adventure for sure. In the end itβs a great result π₯
