Starting to show signs of recovery from the transplant. I reuse my coco from my last grow. Seems to work well. Cannazym seems to break down the dead roots pretty well, I'm assuming, as I havnt had any issues reusing the coco..
They are loving the Viparspectra P2000.
Another few days of veg and I will introduce a Viparspectra XS2000 and i will flip to flower under the P2000 and XS2000.

Nice agressive growth in stretch.
I switched my PH down. And I had a bad experience.. From growth technology to Canna PH down (bloom)... I went from ph 7 down to pH 6.2. and this raised my PPM by 300! I'm not sure if this is normal, but growth technology PH down did not do this ever!

Maybe... there has been initial studies and people with the technical knowledge to sparate, measure and assess % THC by mass... believe 36 hours was the best interval in that small sample size tested.
other concerns -- this requires more research to fully understand... an increase in THC% can come from a loss of mass, which does happen if you deprive a plant of light -- basically anything <21DLI, give or take, will likely result in loss of mass on the plant.
So, they'd need to also make sure the bulk of the increase is not simple due to the denominator getting smaller... looks good on paper, but won't be the best productivity or profitability in some contexts.
I like to take the road between. The night before i determin i will have a harvest, i shut off timer to lights. This way the plant doesn't engage in photosynthesis before chop and i get 18-24+ hours of darkness before i actually get in there to do anything.
Be sure of one thing.. depriving a plant of light will make it lose mass, because it cannot maintain itself without 'food'. (food = light and nutrients, despite this weird thing people try to say that only light is "food" but that's silly.. as they need the nutrients for building blocks too. anthropomorphizing never leads to good conclusions)
So, if it does have a benefit, it needs to outwiegh the costs, and i've yet to see enough research thet says this definitively one way or another. That doesn't mean it does not exist. Sure, i believe potency increased, but there's more to the equation than that in order to be certain it is a net positve, and that could depend a bit on personal preferences too... if you care not for yield, then % THC may be a much heavier factor for you.
