I had some room in my other tents and got antsy 😂. I grew this as an auto and it blew me away so I had to get the photo version which is more potent. This grow is going to be 100% organic with my own super soil along with Roots Organics, organic soy amino acid and my own fish amino acid during Veg. And Roots Organics during Bloom
Was on vacation so I had someone watch it and water it lightly. I'm very biased to this strain because I had it as an auto and I was baked every time so I'm treating the photo version very delicate to make sure its better than the auto.
She's taken off in the last 4 days since returning to a proper feeding schedule. This is an organic run as I love how the terps shine when grown organically, there's something about the entire house smelling loud from the time you open the door that gets me going. I took the time to thoroughly clean the tent to avoid any spider mite issues this run and I'm taking every precautionary measure
For her structure and size I'd expect her side branching to be more but it doesn't matter she is coming along well. Will let her get up to node 6 and then top down to the 4th, hopefully I can get that done by early next week as I am only vegging my plants now for 5 weeks
Plant has a lot of vegetative growth even under the branches are growing additional flowers. Did a decent job training so far where the plant has nothing but vertical growth from the side branches. She's set to flip next Tuesday BUT I may hold her over another week so other plants can catch up
I have not done much defoliating to this plant, everything is shooting right to the light without any blockage. I've really pounded the nutes where I double the dosage and you see the results, I'm putting it ALL together in this run from all the experiments I ran on other plants and its paying off but I never have an issue with veg. Let's see how this goes when I flip in 2 weeks
Been very busy with life to update my diaries but here I am. Did some lollipopping and doing the training I should've done during my last cycle that left to bad yields, my wife was pretty upset with me bout that but fear not lol. What you're looking at would look like a cal mag deficiency as the plant isn't "burning" sorta speak. The only issue is cal mag DOESNT fix this particular issue, its a medium Ph imbalance from using high amount of ammoniacal nutes (organic nutes). To remedy to problem of the low medium Ph I'll be taking her off organic nutes for synthetic as nitrate based nutes will raise medium Ph which is what I need currently. Flipping today and will begin synthetic bloom with tomorrow feeding.
Loving the new nutes and so do the plants, very happy with this switch and in only 1 weeks the plant is showing pre-flowering. Ive never experienced this before so I'm excited for it and a early harvest. I've literally brought this plant back from the brick of death due to medium Ph imbalance, switched to synthetic nutes and the situation resolved itself from too much ammoniacal nitrogen. The bud ignitor has made every bud site just pop and I'm loving it all hopefully the previous lookout didn't take too much of a toll and I can get some good production out of the plant.
All signs of Ph imbalance is gone and the original color and lush and returned since moving to nitrates. She's still continuing to grow and put on since inches but should be stopping soon as we're in the 3rd week of flowering (pics are from 2nd week). She is doing more than fine with 2L a feeding and I don't see myself going up to 2.5L unless bud production is really great. Done removing the lower bud sites and this plant is all side branches from side branches that shot upwards. My next indoor run which will be in the fall i will only grow 4 per tent so i can train more.
She's been on cruise control since she's flipped with no deficiencies, hopefully it translates to good yields and quality. Have been sneaking in some organic teas every so often to keep things balanced in the medium. Grew her before as an auto and it sent me for a long nap every time so I'm shooting for the same results.
Elevated the plant higher to the light with a milk crate and its now 12" from the light and PPM is 2200. Ive also noticed that this particular plant or pheno has an attitude problem with nitrogen even though its getting a rather small amount in flowering its still showing some toxicity and I've been feeding water and molasses for about 2 feedings and she looks back to normal. Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule says to double the base nutrients but that adds up to ALOT of nitrogen so I've never fed the recommended dosage.
Was able to train her a little more hopefully it isn't too late to make a difference. She's very frosty and sticky all positive signs, she developed some mites but I believe I got to it early enough.
Plants are on cruise control at this point and I'm counting down the days till it can be harvested. I have stopped the co2 and allowing the bud to ripen, I'll start checking trichomes this week to see the progress.
Today was the end of the breeders suggested 8-9 weeks flower cycle, I don't subscribe to that BUT with that being said I felt OK cutting her down. Started to run into some issues sorta and decided its to far in the game for the bullshit and took the tomahawk to her. Will be back with the smoke report in about 3 weeks.
I grew this as auto and it was so good I decided to do it as a photo. Its just as narcotic as the auto but probably worse, it starts of calm and mellow and then it builds even slower which is what throws you off. I wanted to smoke some more but I talked myself out of it because I felt sluggish out of nowhere. The sativa effects are non existent and it feels like 2 fat girls are sitting on your eyes as I struggled to keep them open. I can't say how long the high last since I didn't wake up until the next morning, excellent smoke for when you don't want to listen to your wife and kids anymore.
@JamMAKEcan, this is the hardest part for me because my training isn't consistent and leads to low yields. Just trying to stay consistent during this stage with good practices.
Hey, friend looking good! Keep up the good work. I would suggest slowly dialing your lights on temps down as you proceed through flower. We can make our buds a little on the airy side and less dense if our temps get too high over 80 even with c02 enrichment. 77-79 MAX lights on seems to be best for this. Also now that your plants have finished their vertical growth you can keep on opening up that temp gap between lights on and off to signal your plants to put more energy into the budding process and resin production. After they finish their vertical growth by weeks 4-6 of flower we want to begin to do this. It helps get a much nicer more dense, Caked finish on our cannabis. It helps trigger the genetic responses in the plant by simulating the ending of the season. Doing light deprivation in the last 2 weeks & very cold feed temps in the last week can really help as well.
If you do not have a PAR meter & a thermal laser temp gun like the fluke 62 MAX I would recommend getting those too. They will really help you get the most potential out of your lights onto your plants & helps us grow to our plant's needs more efficiently.
