My challenge number 2. My first cultivation was in textile flower pots and in coconut substrate. The result was great ... but in order to compare methods, I have to see for myself what is better. I'm happy to join this amazing community here at growdiaries.com! I will try to be a good member. I apologize to everyone in advance for my bad English.

I'm trying to tune climate automation, but I'm still failing. I need to increase the humidity and keep the temperature low without much fluctuations. Unfortunately, there are now 6 ° C temperature differences within 24 hours. I'm unhappy about this, but it's a challenge for me. I hope I can help the smallest plant (No. 4) .. I will be very grateful for any advice. Thanks my growers friends

I hope I can help the smallest plant (No. 3). 4 plants are planted in the same medium ,they have the same conditions. The difference is in the method of germination (2x peat jiff tablets - these plants look the strongest than 2x germ. in coco ... this is the case with plant n.4

I would say the issue with the plants in the coco is nutrients. these need food from day 1 basically. At very low doses but feed with every watering. You should have a EC of 250 ppm or so for the first week, mostly nitrogen and phosphorus and calcium. One issue with coco is calcium. Was the coco buffered? Did you rinse it with a calcium solution before planting? Coco sucks up a lot of calcium, and holds tightly on to it. Only once it has grabbed onto all the calcium it wants, will calcium then be available for the plant to use. I always felt feeding plants was over stated, especially in the beginning, and I started a seedling in coco. It popped very nicely but after it pushed out its first set of leaves it did nothing. I thought it was a dud, so when I was watering my plants that were in full bloom, I decided to just drench the plant with high PPM water. In a few days the plant started to take off. It was then that I realized that it really is true, that there is no food in coco. Peat will have some nutrients in it which will feed seedlings for a few weeks, which is probably why these are growing significantly better. I'd give it a good feeding, about 250 ppm with a nitrogen and calcium solution and see if it starts to turn around in a few days or so. I wouldn't be too concerned about the temperature swings. As long as it is consistent, the plants should be okay. If you are going organic, a mix of liquid fish, kelp meal and some hen manure diluted in water will give a good readily available source of nutrients to get them going a bit.

Good news for everyone. All the plants already look healthy. On Friday, they were flooded with compost tea (worms humus in socks, molasses, 13l chlorine-free water, aeration stones). They were without watering over the weekend. Climate automation also looks better. I'll start with LST this week. Do you have questions about my automation system? I will be happy to advise you on your choice!

I confess ... I failed. I didn't want to continue the diary ... But in the end I overcame my ego ... because growdiaries.com is not just about success. I did not find the correct watering setting. I couldn't do LST ... I wanted to give it up ... but I didn't give up. Growing plants is a hobby for me ... I don't grow for money ... That's why I keep doing this plants. I feel a commitment to sweet seeds and to the community here. Please forgive me. my first plant was very successful ... And I fell asleep on my laurels ... I wanted to try another growing medium ... another pot ... I already know what is better for me... So what's next? I will try to try a few methods and most importantly learn from my mistakes. The next plants will be in a textile pot again. I will use a coconut substrate (I have good experience). I'm just deciding with fertilizers ... Whether to use coconut fertilizers A + B ... Or fertilizers in powder (bat guano, vulcano wormhumus ...)...yes And also a germicidal lamp for disinfecting the tent...Thanks to everyone in the community! I wish you all a successful new year. But most of all, it's health

I'm so sorry I didn't manage their short life as I would have liked ... I have to congratulate Sweet seeds for their beautiful genetics! Those colors! shades! contrasts! And above all, the scent of God ... I've ruined a lot so far, but the plants have shown me that they are leaving me ... NOW I CAN'T FAIL, I WANT TO HAVE THESE FLOWERS IN MAXIMUM POWER AFTER DRYING AND MATURATION
