I usually do 24 hrs soaked in water followed by another 12 in a paper towel, covered, in a dark room. Once the tails out, into a cup with soil.
Hoping to get little more out of banana daddy for my last seed. Last time I grew her she had beautiful frosty nugs but a very small yield.
Pineapple express, while not totally new to me will still be an experimental grow. The first time around I may or may have not killed one of her siblings. Oops. Never actually tried the strain either so I'm curious if it's worth the hype. Still learning with these autos.
11/Treating for gnats with BTI and yellow stick traps. I have yet to find a soil without them. Pretty much treat right off the bat now. Otherwise they seem happy. Still not sure who's who.
12/12 they are healthy at this point. Both are beginning to branch out a little more. Pineapple has preflowers showing but her growth is dwarved in comparison to banana daddy. I'm already starting to think this BD will be bigger than my last, which isn't saying too much but I'll take it. She has a nice, thick stalk forming as well.
Curious to see how much they'll grow in the next week because they seem to be getting noticeably bigger everyday right.
