Captain_7 Decided to toss these ladies up here. These are second generation CBD Charlotte's Angel Auto's (originally Dutch Passion parents). This plant is growing in a peat, soil, compost mix. She started flowering right at day 28 at the 6th node. Leaves are quite thin, making me think she's more sativa leaning. Ive never grown auto's on 18 hours all the way through so I am interested to see how it plays out. I mixed the potting mix with fresh compost. Im watering the girls with my home blend of compost leachate diluted 1:3 with rain water. I aerate the leachate and sometimes add a cup of organic alfalfa rabbit feed to 5 gallons of liquid for added nitrogen and micro's. Im watering the soil plant every 3 - 4 days with about 2L of water. pH is adjusted (down) to 7 with white vinegar. So far it looks like the plant is happy.

In growing Auto's - do you recommend removing lower branches? or is it best to just let everything bud? This is my first full auto grow so I am not sure if trimming will hurt final yield or help.

hey there Capitain_7, The only thing that you can do to increase your yield is to promote latteral branching. That is when there are other branches not just the apex/main cola. So if you LST you get bigger latteral branches so more yield. If you remove the side branches you will get YIELD1 = YIELD - Side Branches .... so you can do it because you can do what you want, but if you do it then you will have less product to share with me, so please dont do it. Some growers in morocco used this technique in their hash fields, but they are far from us now, growmie. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Captain_7 plants clearly into flower mode now. no height gain, no new leaves. looking nice and dark green, quite thin but healthy. buds are setting nicely, time will tell how full and dense they will get. It looks like I stopped the wrong plant from stretching, the other plant is a good 10 inches taller so this plant isn't as close to the lights was I would like. this may come back to hurt the yields. The tent is cooler than id like, normally I have a few other LED lights in there that warm it up a bit but not this time around, but the plants are okay with it.

Captain_7 Had a good week with this one. Seeing a bit of yellow creeping in on the top part too. The buds are starting to get some nice trichomes and some of the white hairs are starting to turn orange. Im planning on growing these out for another 3 1/2 weeks so we will see how it grows from here. Ive been feeding with a mix of different amendments turned into tea. So far so good I'd say.
