Can’t wait to start this project! Running 3 different strains from FastBuds that were my prize for winning newbie of the month.
This diary will follow the progress of Stardawg Auto!
I was hoping to hold off until my new FC-E 3000 shows up, but after speaking with the company I ordered through I will have the start the germination/seedling phase under the TS 1000 until it arrives.
Week 1 Day 1 Stardawg has an incredibly fast germination along with Purple Punch, hitting roughly 3cm in less than 48 hours, forcing me to plant them a day earlier than I would have liked. Planted in 4 gallon fabric pots with Fox Farms Happy Frog soil. Initial watering was PH 6.34
Week 1 Day 2 Stardawg is above ground.
Week 1 Day 3 The Mars Hydro FC-E 3000 has arrived! Replacing the TS 1000
Week 2 Day 2 Stardawg seems to be coming along nicely. It has been a little warm in the tents this week , 80-85 f, whereas I like to stay in the 75-80 range. The FC-E 3000 is a treat for these ladies.
Week 2 Day 4 Stardawg seems to be keeping up with Purple Punch nicely and is progressing well.
Week 3 Day 1 Stardawg is growing very nicely along side Purple Punch, she broke the surface about 24 later than Purple Punch and she seems to be mimicking her growth every day. Very pleased with this strain so far.
Week 3 Day 5 Stardawg is progressing beautifully.
Week 4 Day 1 Stardawg has been an amazing experience so far. This plant is growing very consistently and isn’t showing any signs of deficiency yet. I will likely start adding nutrients and some LST this week
Week 5 Day 1 This week the plant is continuing to increase in size and is looking good. The plant has transitioned into flower. I have started adding the holland secret line from future harvest.
Week 5 Day 5 As with the other two, I did some very light defoliation on Stardawg, removing fan leaves from the main steam as they were getting very large (5+ inches) and blocking light and getting in the way.
Week 6 Day 2 Stardawg is doing very well progressing through flower. Not as bushy as Purple Punch, but growing big and healthy. The added nutrients are helping very much.
Week 6 Day 6 Add a few progression pics of Stardawg flowering. Added Future Harvest Bud Start and Calnesium to the feeding of the 3 part Holland Secret line.
Week 7 Day 2 Stardawg is coming along very nicely. The buds are fattening up and the plant seems to have finally stopped stretching. The yellowing leave seem to be a characteristic of this particular strain, so I am not overly concerned.
Week 8 Day 1 Stardawg is looking nice and bulky. Also has lots of yellow showing but as the plant is slowly coming to the end of its cycle I’m not concerned. The trichomes are coming in nicely.
Week 9 Day 2 Stardawg is looking amazing. The buds are bulking up very nicely and with the minimal leaves the bud sites extend all the way down in to the center of the plant. Hopefully will be harvesting in the next 2 weeks.
Week 10 Day 1 Stardawg is continuing through flower nicely and I will be adding the final nutrient to her mix with Bud Boom by Future Harvest to really help her bulk up in her final couple weeks.
Week 10 Day 2 Added trichome photos with the loupe that arrived today.
Week 11 Day 2 So far so good with Stardawg. The plant seems to be hitting the end of it’s life cycle so will be doing on last cycle of Bud Boom and then flushing. Harvest should take place in about 14 days.
Week 12 Day 1 The final week has begun for Stardawg! Have been flushing for 5 days now, the final flush will be on wednesday followed by lights out thursday/friday, and the chop coming on saturday. The trichomes are nice and milky with some amber, unfortunately with no way to turn off iphones auto upscaling of photos, it makes it very difficult to get a picture without it automatically increasing the brightness and making the trich’s look blurry.
Week 12 Day 7 Lights are out! Chop will happen on Sunday.
The plant was amazing from start to finish, couldn’t be happier with Fast Buds products, and can’t wait to grow these strains and other by them again!
The FC-E 3000 by Mars Hydro was an awesome upgrade to my 3x3 and produced the best buds I’ve personally grown so far!
Future Harvest nutrients have once again produced amazing and healthy plants.
@JamMAKEcan, they are definitely cool! I like to do photos cause they can handle the stress of mainlining and stuff, but autos are nice for the speed! Im happy i got a second tent, can do both.
@crypto, this diary along with the other two fast buds diaries update every Saturday for their weekly update, there may also be an intermittent update during the week of any other significant changes during the week.
You have 10-11 sides and top cola. So each branch should be around 17 g of bud .... Math is fun thing ....
It's insane what autos can achieve in such short time providing such quality at same time ...
Nice grow in any case.
@Tubington9, I say what I see and I see ridiculous bulky and healthy plants, who rewarded with bazuka sized colas.
I have to be jealous or blind to state different ;)
@AsNoriu, oh thank you! Sorry i thought you were calling the validity of my numbers in to question😂. Everything is as reads on the scale, I have nothing to gain from obscuring the truth, I have no ties to any of the seeds/products I use, so fudging the numbers wouldn’t benefit me at all. These were pretty high in moisture still when I did do my dry weight. I pulled them from hanging and jarred them and the were at roughly 73% in the jars the next day, took me a week of burping to get them down to the 60-62% range. That being said I have had what I can personally say is great success with all my grow aside from my first one (Blue Dream) due to temperature regulation. Fastbuds seeds have been amazing for sure, I was super surprised at the amount if bud sites on this Stardawg plant. Just goes to show that the proper environment and not overcrowding like so many people do, and giving the plant room to have light hit the whole plant helps big time.
@fast_buds_jessie, I’ll finally be getting the FBT 2208, 2209, and 2010 planted this week. I’ve had them since late january, just needed some room to free up. Can’t wait!
