- Started this week with a fresh re-pot into a 9 litre air pot and a topping. - She started showing signs from my accidental over feeding last week so diluted my nute mix by half and only gave her about a litre on the day of re-potting. - Worried the plant is looking a bit small compared to other grows at the 5 week mark. - Timelapse looks a bit different this week, iv been messing around with speeds and white balance. Hope you enjoy -next week I will start intense training.

Grow Questions

Hey guys, compared to other grows in the week 8 stage, my plant looks quit small and stunted. Does anyone think I could have done something better? maybe I was too aggressive with training or defoliating. I was hoping to be flipped to flower by now.

In order of priority. First temperature, for lights on 21°C (70°F) is low, you need to get it above 23°C (73°F), with the right temperatures the plant will explode with growth. For lights out 15°C (59°F) is too low, try to keep ir above 20°C (68°F); Second, pH. In coco ir is a must to meassure it and adjust it. You probably have many nutrient lockout due wrong pH. Third, EC/PPM. Again, in coco it is a must to meassure it, in order to feed the right anount of nutes. Fourth, humidity. Just like temperature, with the right RH, the plant will grow real quick, 30% is too low. Your exhaust is probably too strong, tone it down and your temperatures and humidity will go up.

Should I defoliate the canopy a bit? The canopy is super dense and I’m sure there are some bud sites that are missing out on light, I’m also concerned about airflow to the buds. Is there a risk in defoliating at this stage in the grow, should I just let her do her thing?

Hi @KA_LE! Well, there's always a risk of stress, especially if you tuck too many leaves at a time, but if you do it slightly and remove only 3-5 leaves by week, your plant should be fine. Your plant is extremely bushy and a defoliation will obviously reinforce the airflow and the light penetration. However take a moment to think twice before removing each leaf, and remember your plant won't generate new leaves at this stage. Go ahead, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

I have a bucket too! It's not nearly as stealthy as yours though. I'm definitely following this grow. Good Luck!!

Aye, my bucket brother! I use my space bucket as a place to start my girls, and transfer to tent when they get too big! Reminds me to keep training! Looks great @KA_LE!

@KA_LE, not many of us, but your bucket looks amazing! If I used mine more for growing (instead of propegation, etc) I'd have to grab some tips on how you built it!

Good luck with the growth man! I plan to have Dance World as my very next plant as on the paper it perfectly fits my requirements (CBD vs THC/ low height/ low smell). I have a question though, from your point of view, is the smell really considerably lower than other strains? And, man, the bucket you've created is really cool. I would love to be handy enough to build something like that :)

@KA_LE, awesome. that's exactly what I was hoping for :) Thanks and happy growing!

Thanks heaps man! In my limited experience it's definitely the least smelly plant i've been around. It gives off a more green veg smell and only when you desterb or touch the buds does it give of a strong cannabis smell and leaves a smelly residue on your fingers.

Looks pretty awesome 😎 How long did this take to make ?

@Pluxay, Thanks :) I think I was planning for over 3 weeks, and building it took about 2 weeks mostly waiting for parts

It looks like you might be developing a tiny CaMg deficiency if those are rust spots on the leaves. It's good that you added nutes, now I would just monitor it in the meanwhile. Looks like good solid growth to start!

Shout out to the Space Buckets! My first grow started out in a space bucket. I love that thing! I still use it for sprouts. Good luck! Keep her seriously trained and you will have no problem.
