Smooth sailing so far, can definitely notice the nice wide leaves , indica dominant strain. All new growth apart from the first few first leaves are all nice and green.
Transplanted into 3 gallon pot and began the main lining process.. defoliated everything else .. by end of week I topped again and watered on day 27 (1/13/21)..
Start of the 6th week i defoliated everything and watered it on day 42 I now have my final 8 mains after topping 3 times . Couple more weeks in veg and we might consider flowering
I have put them in their final home , I will be switching to flower in the next couple days after it recovers from the transplant shock , I have defoliated and tied the mains down even further..the flowering stretch will begin soon ..
2/15/2022 first day after 24 hours of darkness ..
After 6 days of flipping the lights I now see my first pre flowers so I’ll start counting my flowering time starting today 2/20/22. I’ll give it Grow nutrients for just one more week ..the plant is drinking much more water . Fed on 2/20/22 started Big Bud
3/1/22
Beginning of Week 2 (Day 21 after flip) responding well to feedings ..has not shown any deficiencies..in a 7 gallon pot it took 2 gallons until I had about 15-20% run off ..
Heavy and last defoliation and removal of lower bud sites ..
8 Main copas
Another 8 secondary row of colas ..
I left those to fill the canopy nicely and have more bud sites as I am looking for a nice yield ..
Watered 3/1/22& 3/4/22
The smell is really picking up, she gets thirsty quicker , I’m only giving her half the recommended nitrogen at this point , by next week I’ll stop giving her all nitrogen ..
I’ve also upped the cal mag and big bud entering this week that’s crucial for bud development..
I’ve noticed a significant stretch even tho it’s a indica dominant, nights do get to about 61 degrees sometimes , it’s the cold northeast where i am .. I already noticed trichomes on the leaves ..
Heavy feeding 3/12/22
Upward growth continued this week but slowed down significantly towards the end
3-15-22 Smell is really picking up, no deficiencies so far, has responded well to all feedings , plenty of bud sites , the big bud seems to be doing its job..
3-16-22 watering / feeding day selective defoliation
3-19-22 Watering Day Started noticing some purple on the buds
Smell is strong .
This Strain may run up to 9 weeks flowering so I believe I’m right at half way ..
the next two weeks will be heavy feedings then tamper down until the flush..
2 Gallon watering / feeding 3/22/22
2 Gallon Feeding 3/25/22
The smell is strong
Heavy Watering and Feeding on 3/29/22
No deficiencies just very small nutrient burn nothing major, responding well to feedings.
Last week of heavy feeding.
Watering Feeding on 4/3/22 Overdrive 2 teaspoons
Very strong smell,
Pistils are slowly turning orange ,
Nothing but water this week and next
Happy with the bud size
Not expecting any more growth just ripening at this point ..
3 gallon just ph’d water in 4/9/22
Just Plain water for the next week
Smell is intense
Still many white pistils ..
Lots of purple in regards to the sugar leaves
Amazing trichome development ..
Amazing genetics, the plant went through some stressful times growing up here in New England however it never hermied. Great genetics, responding amazingly to mainlining. The purple really comes out when exposed to colder temperatures during the first few weeks of flowering .
Your grow looks good. Nice mainlining. I notice that you use General Hydroponics and Advanced Nutrients. I used General Hydroponics my first couple of grows, and I thought it was pretty good. I just started my new grow and will be using a new nutrient line I am very excited about once I get their starter kit in the mail. The company is Rooted Leaf Agritech and they say they are a regenerative carbon based nutrient line that is made from organic food or pharmaceutical grade plants, sea algaes and kelp. These inputs are things like Licorice, Beets, Lavender, Green Tea leaves, Safflower, Oranges, Stevia, Horsetail, Hibiscus, Juniper berries, Artichokes, Moringa, Aloe, Sage, Ginko Biloba, Jasmine, and things like Green, Red and Brown Kelp, single cell Algae, and also beneficial microbes and bacteria. These are fermented and added with what the company calls "Precision Chemistry". They say all research, chemistry, fermentation, mixing and bottling is done in house. I thought this was really cool, so I decided to try their full line, so I got their starter pack. Anyway, I thought this may be interesting to you. I used Green Planet last grow and had really good results, but I guess I am always looking for the next thing that will make my grow that much better. Anyway, great job with the grow.
