Hi, everybody. Today my plants 55 days. They look very good, cheerful. I had a problem with the lamp today. I don't know what's wrong with her after the photo shoot, but she did not turn on even after it cooled down, had to be replaced by a spare, though it has a slightly different spectrum. 😟
I found that the smell was very strong, air filtration fails, the stench goes through a little passive blowing and smells of the whole apartment. When my greenhouse is closed the smell is, but not strong, but when I work in it, it is necessary to ventilate the room for a long time. And for me this dangerously.
But, there is good news, the postman gave me a great fertilizer that will help me get a good and delicious harvest. 💪
Bubblelicious Auto - these plants show a very strong smell, for 4 days it has increased several times, the smell is very strong, but pleasant. The smell of skunk was felt better when you smell a flower, but everywhere smells very strong and sweet smell of Bubble. It is very very sweet, resembles sugar cane, very sweet candy.
Nevilles Haze Auto-very active, the vegetation period is very long. This plant requires a lot of time and patience, but I think it will reward me with a large harvest, I hope so. This plant practically does not smell, but there is a typical smell of Haze. If you want to harvest quickly, this plant will not suit you, be patient, well, I will tolerate.
In General, we will monitor their development. I hope everything will be fine, and my neighbors will not call the police, then I will have a lot of problems, but I'm not afraid of them, because the love of this plant is stronger.
Freedom of the cannabis industry 👍
@RussianGrower, Главное бери с открытыми керамическими пластинами, он не дорогой и выделяет 10 гр - гасит запахи замечательно. На Али и ебэее есть- если надо будет дам ссыль. Удачи дружище.
Looking good! Have you always manicured your plants while they are still growing? How have your past results been?
I've never heard of it, and I was wondering what gave you the idea. It sure will make harvesting, trimming and curing a lot easier.
Your little autos look wonderful. Sorry about the smell. I know you've done a lot to get rid of it. It could be 4 flowering plants in a grow tent. That is a lot of smelly bud.!😁
When I was in college we would have to put a wet towel underneath the door to our dorms so we could get high without getting caught.
@Quexos, There is a slight difference between defoliation and flower trimming. Defoliation-begins at the vegetative stages of the plant and continues as the cycle of his life to open the access of light to new shoots and save the vital energy of the plant. I prefer to make trimming flowers one week before harvest, because while the plant is alive, I have the opportunity to get to the most difficult places in the cone, in addition, it gives a signal to the plant that his life will soon come to an end, and it quickly wants to Mature. Also, trimming in the last weeks of the plant's life opens up air access to the center of flowers, which helps to avoid fungal diseases and mold in the later stages, it is especially useful for outdoor use in case of high humidity.
@KalooNie, I looked at your Red Dragon grow. Beautiful grow BTW. I saw that you did a good deal of defol, but Russian Grower has pretty much wet trimmed his plant while it is still growing!!😵 I'm just wondering if this is a first time thing, or part of his growing techniques. Russian Growers plants are fantastic so I'm definitely giving him props. I'm just wondering about different methods people use.
That is a great DIY carbon filter. I hope it works for you. Your flowers are looking especially nice this week. Did you trim off sugar leaves to get that hash on your scissors, or did you harvest a plant? Your description reads like you trimmed the buds on your growing plant.
@Quexos, In the filter made by my hands, I use a regular household fan to ventilate the bathroom, 100 cubic meters per hour. Computer fan I installed at the inlet of forced ventilation
@RussianGrower, WoW! You are brave! I don't think I could trim that closely.
I've seen a design that is similar to the one you are using. You push air through the filter using a computer fan. You could make a more powerful one using an exhaust fan.
Ozone will definitely do the trick! I used to keep Ozium in my dorm room when I was a college student. That was the easiest way to rid your room of unwanted smells!
@Quexos, I used these carbon filters when I was young, when I was training. They help a little. I'm going to order a powerful odor neutralizer and buy an ionizer, after all, I think I'll kill that stink
Yes, my friend, I did intimate haircuts to these plants, I cut sugar leaves, the plants still live. I plan to harvest 70 days
@RussianGrower, I’m glad you found the site! It’s my favorite internet community. So much positivity and helpfulness. But what would one expect from an internet community dedicated to the cultivation of cannabis? Looking forward to seeing your work! I’m new. I just started growing last year. Smoking the year before that. 😊
@Stinkfox, Thank you very much for your moral support, it means a lot to us. I looked at your profile and got a lot of new knowledge. I only recently found out about this site, but have experience for several years. I am inspired by the example of many like-minded people in different parts of the world and now I can not stop. Expect a new diary, I conduct training to the guerilla growing technique outdoors.
Hey! Nice grow so far! Try an ozone generator for the smell in your house, I use it after I smoke and no one can smell I did, not even non-smokers! lol!
@Eauderay, thanks for the good advice, I've already started looking for a suitable model. We should try. I've heard about this air purification method, but so far I've been skeptical, now my opinion has changed 👍
Man, what a great job you've done training these girls! You have a ton of bud sites! Have you encountered strains that don't like all that LST? I'd like to follow along to see how those buds stack up in the end.
You already have an exhaust fan with a carbon filter? There are odor removing gels on the market that you could try. We keep one in the room where our dogs sleep at night, and it really keeps the odor down! They last for about a month before they need to be refilled, or replaced. Good luck!
@RussianGrower, I've been wanting to grow for a long time, but it wasn't until LED lights became affordable and efficient that I actually invested in the supplies needed to grow. HID lighting is still pretty expensive. The bulbs are also expensive to replace.
I have a little bit of experience working with them because I worked in a pet store in college, and we sold HID lighting for reef tanks. I was unable to afford that lighting so I had to use tons of T5 tubes to get the amount of light needed to keep corals alive. Now that LED lighting is readily available, I've actually thought of setting my mini-reef tank up again.
@Quexos, Now I understand my friend, of course after that you need to use the led installation, but as much as possible.
Man, about the financing of their projects - you know, growing can be quite expensive. Therefore, we are all waiting for the harvest 😉
Most of all, I enjoy communicating with like-minded people who are in different parts of the world. This is a unique opportunity for us to share experiences and track different situations 👍
@RussianGrower, I'm running a 600w Blomm light right now in a 3x3x6 ft. tent.
My last grow used the same light with excellent results. Lights are expensive. I understand that by increasing the light intensity in my grow tent, I can increase yield, but I really don't have the budget for another expensive light.
I would imagine that the lifespan of my LEDs are limited. When I have to replace this light I might get something more powerful, but I'll probably stick with some type of LED set-up due to heat considerations. I live in the desert. I struggle to keep my heat down right now! It would be the perfect light for winter grows, but not as a all season grow light.
