It makes a good while that I'm thinking of growing Ace Seeds 's Malawi and Golden Tiger. I purchased the seeds 1 year ago, Golden tiger's seeds are from 2020 November 12th so they must be the Thai dominant version. I was about to wait again but felt more confident with the new light which is a little more powerfull , leaves more room for the plant to grow up and has better spray. This time, 4 plants will be quite enough. They'll have toping and scrog. Very excited with this new journey ! 🙏 - Germination started today (07/12/2021) at 4 pm => In the tent, no light, T° 23°C. - 08/12/2021 at 5 pm: 1 Malawi germinated -09/12/2021 at 10 am: All plants germinated => In their 1 L pot tomorrow with light mix for the first 10 days . Final pots 18 L with DNA Mills with cork. Maybe one repotting before 18 L.

Day 1 (10/12/2021): I planted all germinated seeds in their 1L pot, very little watering with Elycitor (0,3mg/L) and Roots + ( 0,3 ml/L). Ace seeds will share the 4x4 tent and the SE 5000 with the other stains as long as it's possible. Then I'll move the Colombian Jack/Original sour diesel to the 1x1x2m tent with the SF 4000. To let air be extracted outside, I have to leave a vasistas opened => The tents's room is very cold . Those eco heat metal bars are the best and less expensive way that I found to heat correctly the tent. The SE 5000 is set at 30%, distance from canopy( canopy ?? Where ???) : 61 cm Day 3: 2 malawi and 1 golden tiger started to grow , the 2nd GT is almost out. Dat 7: Ist week ending. Not much to say :)

Day 15 (24/12/2021): 3rd week of 18/12 started. Secondaries are out. All plants look rather good although they didn't grow as much as expected compared to previous diaries. Something like 3/4 days missing ( = a lot compared to 15). I'm still experiencing with the new SE 5000 (advised hanging heights are very different from the SF 4000) maybe this is the reason. I did some measurements using Photone and raised the lamp power up to 60% to reach a ppfd around 410/430. Day 16: They didn't mind more light so they had a little more. It's not very visible on the photos but Golden tiger express wild exotic force/strengh, ready to jump, vivid and alert. Malawis are sweeter, less nervous. I think I'll repot in a 3/4 L pot before final 18 L in 2 or 3 days. From then, I plan to use the DNA Mills ultimate with cork but...still wondering if it's not too rich for those girls even without adding grow stuff. Day 17: All plants repotted in a 3,4 L pot + watering 0,9 L / plant , pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,3 mg/L, Roots + 0,3ml/L and Molasses 4ml/L. Day 19: For now, they all have rather short internodes. Tallest plant: 10 cm ! Perfect for me. I think that the lamp is for something in it. I'll spray some neem oil before the lght is off (10ml/L) Day 20: They grow nicely. One Malawi has its 2nd node fan leaves showing what I think is roots damage when repotting. Well... under and above it grows normally but I'll keep an eye on it. Day 21: End of 3rd week. They grew a lot during this week but not in height: Tallest plant is 12 cm tall. Not sure yet what is / if there is a matter with the biggest malawi. I cut the damaged parts of the concerned leaves in case of moisture. It's too young to have any deficiency, no overwatering so.. Root issue when repotting ? Too much humidity ( RH went > 90% for a while in the last days) ? I don't worry too much for now as it keep on growing nicely. Plants's green is getting darker since repotting but not too dark, the seem to like the soil. Next week I"ll top them as soon as I can above 5th node in order to repot a few day later and start training them with the to come scrog net. The sensi calmag that I ordered in case arrived today. I never used some before but read that the girls will certainly want some so.. I find the golden tiger fascinating... especially the shortest one, strong personality ! 😶

Day 22 (31/12/2022): 4th week starting. The new lamp is fine but.. It is larger and contrary to the SF4000 will touch the air extracor/carbon filter at one point raising it up => plants1,10 m tall at the max. I should have think a little more.. Stretch 3,5/4 => max +/- 20/25 cm tall when I place the net. So, tomorrow they will be topped and watered. Repotting 18 L at the end of the week and net placing during the week after. Happy new year world and life ! Day 23: 4 plants topped above 5th node. 2/2 Golden tiger and 1/2 Malawi watered: 0,9 L / plants, pH 6,4 with Elycitor 0,35 mg, Roots + 0,3 ml/L, Molasses 4ml/L and.... Sensi calmag 1ml/L. The 2nd Malawi ( the smallest, Malawi 1) wasn't thirsty enough => Tomorrow for her. Day 24: No watering again for Malawi 1, still not thirsty enough. Those plants are full of life strenght and energy ! I can see branches popping from secondaries's 1st node. At the same time, they look very sensitive to light and "food". I'm still not sure if the soil it too rich even without adding grow stuff. Day 25 : Watering 0,8 L, pH 6,4 with Elycitor 0,35 mg, Roots + 0,3 ml/L, Molasses 4ml/L and Sensi calmag 1ml/L for Malawi 1. This one looks like her growth is slowed. Overall, the plants look good but each one has 1 or 2 leaves with spots looking like slight Ca defficency ?!?!? with a few spots with a lighter green and even 3/4 yellowing leave tips. I'll try more cal mag next watering or before if things get worse. That said, Malawi 1 apart, they're growing fast and I'm glad that I didn't wait more to top them. I'll spray some neem oil before the light is off. Day 26: Moved the Colombian Jack and sour diesel to the other tent. Tomorrow, I'll repot the malawi and golden tiger and water again the 3 biggest plants. They drink more, especially the golden tiger. Day 27: All plants repotted in their 18L pot and watered again, 3,5 to 4L / plant, pH 6,5 with Elycitor 0,4 mg/L, Roots + 0,3ml/L, Sensi calmag 1,5 ml/L and molasses 4ml/L. The leaves are a bit down but will be up tomorrow ! Spent some time adjusting everything again in the grow tent and also the metal heat bars timer according to the 8°C temperature drop occured today. Winter is really here now. Day 28: End of 4h week. I'll place the net tomorrow and start to use it to train the plants until 50/60% of its surface is covered then I'll flip to 12/12 and finish to fill the surface with stretch starting. They're to the limit of overfeeding although I think that the look rather good for now.

Day 29 (07/01/2022): The net is installed. 20 cm from soil. Training started for Malawi 2 and Golden tiger 1. Malawi 1's pot raised so that she's +/- at the same height than the other plants. Seeing how perennial they are, I think that the net will fe filled enough to switch to 12/12 (or maybe 11/13 , not sure yet) at the end of the week. Day 31: Watering +/- 3l /plant, pH 6,4 with Roots + 0,3 ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. I cleaned the very bottom under the net; removing 2 1st nodes 's fans leaves and cleaning first nodes on secondaries. And of course, the scrog "above below the net" game is now started. Those sativas look made for it: Easy to bend and quckly reacting to the training. Day 32: Guiding branches for best exposure and net covering. I'll spray some neem oil before the light is off. Day 33: Same as yesterday. Tomorrow defoliation Day 34: Same as the days before and defoliation under the net. Still a couple of days and I'll switch to 12/12. Say 35: It looks like they didn't notice yesterday defoliation ! But Immediatly they reacted and boosted their growth. I really enjoy growing them a lot although I'm a bit anxious about what the stretch will be. End of week 5. Still a few days of 18/12 and I'll change the light schedule.

Day 36 (14/01/2022): 6th week started. Watering for all plants but Malawi 1, 4,4 L/ plant, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,35 g/L, Roots + 0,3 ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. Still a few more days of 18/6 to improve grow surface coverage. Day 37: Watering for Malawi 1, 4,1 L, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,35 g/L, Roots + 0,3 ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. I'll switch to 12/12 tomorrow or the day after. Day 38: I think I'll switch to 12/12 tomorrow: I wouldn't mind giving them 3/4 more days of growth but.. If the net and twisting the branches around its meshes help a lot to control plants height, it doesn't change how long they grew. The more I wait, the more I'll struggle with stretch.

Day 39: First day of 12/12. Day 40: Above under the net, undo redo to improve flowering sites exposure and growth surface coverage while branches are still as flexible as they were for a little while. Day 41: Work on net as usually and watering for all plants but Malawi 1(bottom left). 4,4 to 5L (Malawi 2) / plant, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,35 mg/L, Roots + 0,3ml/L, Orga grow 1ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. The light went off while I was still watering. Usually, the day for plants is the day for me and I'm not still used to the fact that everything must be finished before 2 pm. Day 42: More defoliation under the net. Sprayed some neem oil just before the light is off. Day 43: Watering for Malawi 1: 4,4 L, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,35 mg/L, Roots + 0,3ml/L, Orga grow 1ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. Day 44: Everyday I'm more impressed and happy to grow these malawi and golden tiger !! Day 45: End of 1st week of 12/12. They look good and grow from everywhere, branches and leaves, incredible vitality !!

Still a few ore days and I let them grow freely. Day 47: No signs of preflowering yet . Keep on improving the net coverage the best I can. Day 48: Very first pistils on both Malawi and Golden tiger 2. Girls ! :) Day 49: Nada. Day 50: Watering for both Malawi and Golden tiger 1, 4,8 to 5L /plant, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,4 mg/L, Roots + 0,3 ml/L and molasses 1 ml/L. I thought that they had enough for another couple of days but I was wrong. They drink more, especially the golden tiger. I planned to take care of the other tent and so did I but then was too short of time to finish warzeing in the 2nd one => Golden tiger 2 will wait until tomorrow. Everyday I remove a little leaves/ too low branches growing from everywhere and it still looks a bit like a jungle :) Day 51: Watering for Golden tiger 2 : 5L , pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,4 mg/L, Roots +3 0,3 ml/L and molasses 1 ml/L. Sprayed some neem oil ( 10ml/L) before the light is off. All plants are girls and showing pistils, more on both Malawi. Day 52:End of 2nd week of 12/12. A bit of work on the net coverage/ heigh control again.

Day 53: Third week of 12/12 starting. The grow surface is almost filled. They get lots of light: 780<PPFD<1100. the dimmer is at 100%, lamp at 45 cm from the highest plant. Playing with the dimmer and preserving a good enough ppfd/ligh map, I can reduce this distance to 25 cm at the max. Keeping the light panel perfectly centered to the middle of the grow tent, it can be raised by 47 cm => Please don't take more than 70 cm from now 🙏. If it happens, I'll have to move the led pannel against the tent's front door to be able to raise it => less light in the back of the tent (Goldent tigers) => Certainly bend them towards the center of the tent. Day 54: Watering for both Golden tiger and Malawi 2: 5L/plant, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,35g/L, Roots + 0,3 ml/L, Orga grow 1ml/L, Sensi calmag 1ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. I'll water Malawi 1 tomorrow. They drink more than I expected. More pistils everywhere, flowering started. Day 55: Nothing. Malawi 1 not thirsty enough for watering. Day 56: Watering for Malawi 2: 5L, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,35g/L, Roots + 0,3 ml/L, Orga grow 1ml/L, Sensi calmag 1ml/L and molasses 1ml/L.1. Day 57: Nada but tomorrow, watering again for Golden tiger's and Malawi 2 Day 58: Watering for both Golden tiger and Malawi 2: 5L/plant, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,35g/L, Roots + 0,3 ml/L, Orga grow 1,6ml/L, Sensi calmag 1,6ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. I increased slightly the nutriments dosage ( still way under what's recommended) as - Malawi 1 apart - plant's green is getting a little lighter. Day 59: End of 3rd week of 12/12. They look ok for now but there is still a long way to go. I'm not 100% sure but looking closer at leaves, it looks like all plants have a diiferent pheno. Now, what is what.. Mystery ! :)

Day 60 (07/02/2022): 4th week of 12/2 started. Watering for Malawi 1, 5,2 L, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,35g/l, Roots + 0,3ml/L, Orga grow 1,6 ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. No calmag and i give her a very low dosage of orga grow in case she needs when the oil is poorer. I still cross my remaining fingers but it looks like they won't grow too tall: They took less than 30cm since I switched to 12/12 and they have lots of work to struggle against the net and to flower all the flowering sites, it makes me think that they are not suddenly going to stretch like crazy now but I might be wrong. Also,I find that they are flowering pretty quckly. Should i say that I'm in love with these plants ? My bedroom is against the grow room and the Ace tent just behind my pillow. I can feel their presence. Both strains are fascinating and they love music :) Day 61: Bent a few more branches on Golden tiger 1 and that 's all. Day 62: Watering for Malawi 2 (5 L) and both tiger (5,8 L/plant) , pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,35g/l, Roots + 0,3ml/L, Orga grow 2,5 ml/L, sensi calmag 2ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. Still increased a little the dosage for orga grow and calmag. The plants's highest doesn't change since 2 days. I don't think that they will grow much taller and won't certainly reach a small meter. Day 63: Nothing. Day 64: Lowered a little the lamp and cleaned dried leaves under the net. Day 65: Watering 6L , pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,35 g/L, Orga grow 3ml/L , Roots + 0,3 ml/L and molasses 2ml/ for Malawi 1. Day 66: End of 4th week of 12/12. Watering 6,4L /plants (both Gold tiger) and 5,3 L ( Malawi 2 ), pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,4 g/L, Roots + 0,3 ml/L, Sensi calmag 2ml/L, Orga grow 3ml/L and molasses 2ml/L For now, no drama, they still look good and we can see more clearly the slight phenos differences. If i'm not wrong, each plant has a different one.

Day 67 (14/02/2022): 5th week of 12/12 started. Not much to do now (watering apart). I ordered some seeds: Malawi x Panama , zamaldelica and more malawi and golden tiger 😎For the next grow with some regular la nina from Mr Nice 😍 Day 68: Nothing. Thank you Ace seeds ! Day 69: A lovely day !😜 Watering for Malawi 2: 5 L pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,4g/L, Orga bloom 3ml/L, Boost + 1ml/L, Inductor R ( 1st round) 2ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. Day 70: Watering for Malawi 1 and both golden tiger: 5 L/plant, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,4g/L, Orga bloom 3ml/L, Boost + 1ml/L, Inductor R ( 1st round) 2ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. According to Ace seeds, Golden tiger 1 is more Thai dominant and GT2 more Malawi influenced. Day 71: Nothing. Day 72: Watering for Malawi 2: 5 L, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,4g/L, Boost + 1ml/L and that's all. Day 73: Watering for Golden tiger 2: 6L, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,4g/L, Boost + 1ml/l, Orga bloom 3ml/L and Sensi calmag 1ml/L. Sprayed Blooming H on all plants before the light is off : pH 6, 7,5 ml/L ( 1 liter used for 3 square meters). It increases flowers protection, vegetal mass making buds denser and bigger. Day 74: 6th week of 12/12 started. Watering for GT 1 and Malawi 1. 5L/plant, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,4 g/L, Boost + 1ml/l and Sensi calmag 1,5 ml/L. The effect of blooming H isn't yet visible (tomorrow and the day after) but it has already been a bit too much for GT whose leaves tips show signs of od. EDIT: just compared with yesterday and in fact the effect of Blooming H is already a bit visible ! Buds grew much more than what they use to do from day to day. Well... All in all, for now they are still looking rather good and growing fine. Day 75: Nada and signs of od are fading away. Day 76: Watering for Malawi 2: 5,5 L, pH 6,5 with Elycitor 0,4 g/L, Boost + 1ml/L, Orga bloom 3 ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. it looks like all plants are going to form lots of huge (for me) buds. Even Malawi 2 but with more time. Day 77: Watering for both Golden tiger: 6L/plant, pH 6,5 with Elycitor 0,4 g/L, Boost + 1ml/L, L and molasses 2ml/L. There should be no surprise with stretch now.I'm glad to know that I can manage it using scrog technique. For now,I see no reason to change the light schedule to 11/13 as advised by the breeder. Day 78: Watering for Malawi 1, 6L, pH 6,4 with Elycitor 0,4 g/L, Boost + 1ml/L, L and molasses 2ml/L. I'll switch to 11/13 during the night. It's a wiser option to follow the experienced breeder's recommandations rather than a " more (light)is better " impulse. Day 79: Nada. As everyday cleaning of what's dry and dead under the net to improve airflow and avoid moistures etc. Day 80: Watering for Malawi 2, 5,8 L, pH 6,5 with Elycitor 0,4g/L, Boost + 1ml/L, sensi calmag 1ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. Each plant has its own distinct smell. I especially like GT 2 (malawi influenced) 's one, a strong mix of mint, flowers, citrus . Strangely, it makes me think of a ...whip 😳 End of 6th week of flowering.

Added a third CO2 bag ( one from the 2 used in the 3x3 tent) I don't plan to make extractions in its time but... I always plan to become a cob master !😂 I ordered a vacuum sealer and make some tries as soon as the other tent's ladies are ready. Not tomorrow, but way sooner than the Ace tent. And more seeds: Malawi x Panama again (but fem this time) + some killer A5 haze. The sky may fall in to the sea !😎 Day 82: Watering for Golden tiger 2, 6L, pH 6.4 with Elycitor 0,4g/L, Boosts + 1ml/L, Sensi Calmag 1ml/L and molasses 2 ml/L. No Orga bloom. Day 83: Watering for Malawi 1 , 6L, pH 6.4 with Elycitor 0,4g/L, Boosts + 1ml/L, Orga bloom 4ml/L, Sensi Calmag 1ml/L and molasses 2 ml/L. Day 84: Watering for Malawi 2: 5,8 L, pH 6,4 with Elycitor 0,4gL, Boost + 1mlL, Orga bloom 4ml/L, calmag 1ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. She was thirsty. Sprayed Blooming H 2nd round on all plants before the light is off, 7,5 ml/L, pH 6, so 0,8 L with 6 ml of blooming H to cover both grow tents. Buds are going to fatten again notably within the next 3 days. They'll have a third round of Blooming H for sure , perhaps a fourth one and then Overdrive will enter the dance. Day 85: Watering for both Golden tiger. 6L/plant, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,4g/L, Boost + 1 ml/L, Orga bloom 4ml/L, sensi calmag 1ml/L and molasses 1ml/L. All plants are starting to eat their lowest leaves. Blooming H effects are starting to be visible, more tomorrow and the day after. Day 86: Nothing, bud are fattening. Day 87: Watering for Malawi 1. 6 L, pH 6,3 with Elycitor 0,4g/L, Boost + 1ml/L, sensi calmag 2ml/L, molasses 2ml/L AND Inductor R 2nd and last round (2ml/L). They didn't take 1 cm since +/- 10 days, even the golden tiger know fro their long and vigourous strech but they fattened a lot although it's only starting fot Malawi 2 who will certainly take more time than the other plants to be ready. End of 7th week of flowering !

Day 88: 8th week of flowering started . Watering for Malawi 2: 5,8 L, pH 6,4 with Elycitpr 0,4g/L, Boost + 1ml/L, Orga bloom 3ml/L, sensi calmag 2ml/L, molasses 2ml/L and Inductor R 2nd and last round 2ml/L For now, Golden tiger have the strongest smell: GT 1 smells mainly like ... nuts ! and GT 2 a complex mix of sour, citrus, fruits and flower. Day 89: Nothing but I'll have to stop nutriments for a while. Day 90: Watering for both Golden tiger, 6L /plant only water pH 6,4. Day 91: Watering for Malawi 2, only water pH 6,2. No photos today.. I took some and put them to the trash instead of desktop and emptied it. No comment. Day 92: Hum hum hum... found yesterday's photos imported somewhere else and so not lost. Only Golden tiger 2 missing. I'm getting old... not quiet yet obsolete but it's coming 😂 Watering for Malawi 1: 6L, only water pH 6,2. Malawi 2 really started to fatten. Day 93: Nada. Day 94: Watering for both Golden tiger. 6L/plant, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,35g /L, Boost + 1ml/L, Overdrive 2ml/L and molasses 2 ml. End of 8th week of flowering.

Day 95 (14/03/2022): Ninth week of flowering started ! All plants nicely fattened during last week. Surprisingly, GT1 should be the 1st one ready and quicker than I expected. Smells are getting stronger and more complex. each plant its own. Day 96: Watering for Malawi 2, 6L (she drinks more), pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,35 g/L, Boost + 1ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. Day 97: Watering for Malawi 1, 6L, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,35 g/L, Boost + 1ml/L, Overdrive 2ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. Confirmation: GT 1 is Thai dominant and GT 1 malawi dominant. Malawi 1 is a tamed pheno structurally similar to GT 2 and Malawi 2 is very likely to be a killer pheno. Day 98: Nothing today. I forgot to stop Boost + starting to use overdrive => liitle od for GT 2 but it should be ok. Day 99: Watering for both Golden tiger. 6/plant, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,3g/L and molasses 2ml/L. Smells are changing and getting strong now . earth, pine fruits fro malawi, fruits, citrus nuts for Golden tiger and othersmells that I can't name. Buds are also much more solid/dense (of course still less than with Indicas). Day 100: Nada. Day 101: Watering for Malawi 2. 6L, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,3g/L, Orga bloom 3ml/L and molasses 2 ml/L Sprayed Blooming H 3rd and last round on all plants before the light is off, 7,5ml/L pH 6. Day 102 (18/04/2022): Tenth week of flowering started ! Watering for Malawi 1: 6L, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,3g/L, Orga bloom 3ml/L and molasses 2ml/L.. They all smell great and start to be really sticky. Although it's not finished, most of the journey is already behind :(. I play guitar for them at least once a week and I know that they love sounds and rhythm. Cannabis plants strongly react to the attention you give to them and - there you can't cheat - to the way you really consider them ( simple plants or representatives of the living reign as you and I are too), the respect you really have for them and your intentions. More: I believe it affects the final result and the way the final results affects you. Day 103: Nothing. Blooming H does its job for the third time and buds are fattening. I'll water the golden tiger's tomorrow. Day 104: Watering for both goden tiger. 6L/plant, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,3 g/L, Overdrive 2ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. I took the day photos and put them on my dektop and erased them from my phone before going out to eat something. Well.. coming back, I put them to the trash and emptied it as I do everyday. Yes... Again. Because of health issues, I stoped smoking 3 weeks ago (tobacco and anything else): I feel much better but my brain 's nervous balance is still in the middle of nowhere resulting into these kind of jokes. On another hand,I ll be 100% clean, prepared with energy at its max for my 1st encounter with Ace sativas. Day 105: Watering for Malawi 2. 6L, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,3g/L, Boost + 1ml/L, molasses 2ml/L and sesni calmag 1,5 ml/L. Checked the trichomes: Malawi 1 and both Golden tiger 's trichomes are cloudy with +/-+ 5% amber ?!?!??? WTF ?? 10th week of flowering isn't even finished... I'll get in touch with Ace seeeds to know if it's possible. If it is it means that I will harvest those 3 as soon as possible. Day 106: Nothing to mention . Ace seeds answered (very nicely and quickly as usually). GT1 is the most advanced and can be harvested althought it's not fully ripe. They advise 1/2 more weeks for GT2 and Malawi 1 (who could however be harvested if I like early sativas). Even more than 1 or 2 weeks if I want the killer effect what they recommend. =>I'll wait at least 2 more weeks. I have 2 GT1 micro buds from 1 week ago cleaning. I'll check if they're dry enough and will have a test to decide what I do with GT1. Day 107: Watering for Malawi 1. 6L, pH 6,1 with Elycitor 0,35 g/L, Overdrive 2ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. EDIT: I finally vaped the 2 dry GT microbuds... !!! 1) In the same vein than ' I put the photos of the day in to the trash and empty it - and sometime find them somewhere else the day after- , the 2 micro buds ( 0,15 g dry) didn't tell me anything about GT1 because they were from GT2 despite what I wrote yesterday. 2) vaped with my Solo 2, 3/4 hits at 170°C and 5/6 at 180 and 185 ¨C: It kicks in almost immediately but very gently.smoothly. After 3/4 minutes feeling good, high and happy it stopped for a while ( I thought I reached the pic... :) )and then go higher and stop for a while again before taking you higher and again and again and again for 1,5 hours. Very progressively, very gently, you get very very high, joy in your belly head in the clouds, then the effects lasted for another 2 hours: now when I"m writing these lines. The highest is behind but I'm not back yet. No anxiety, very good for tripping, listening or playing music, go deep inside. Well... So promising thinking that all this comes from only 0,15 g of tiny buds who barely saw the light, hidden under the plant which isn't mature yet. Day 108: Watering for both Golden tiger. 6L/plant,pH 6,1 with Elycitor 0,3g /L, Overdrive 2ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. Another advantage of scrog is plant's branch support. That said, I had to tie 2 branches now too heavy even for scrog. I had lots of watering today with both tents and not enough time to take all photos before the light is off. I also ordered more Ace seeds ! This time Malawi x PCK, Congo and Zamaldelica x Kali china. End of tenth week of flowering !

Day 109 (26/03/2022): 11th week of flowering started. Watering for Malawi 2: 6L, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,35g/L,Orga bloom 2ml/L, Overdrive 2ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. She will be the last ready and will have 2/3 more weeks. I'll probably harvest GT1 when I harvest the other tent ( original sour diesel / colombian jack) in a few days unless I change my mind. Day 110: Nothing to mention. Senescence is clearly advanced for all plants (a little less however for Malawi's especially Malawi 2). Day 111: Watering for Malawi 1. 6L pH 6,1 with Elycitor 0,3g /L, Overdrive 2ml/L, sensi calmag 1,5 ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. Day 112: Watering for both Golden tiger. 6L/ plant, pH 6,1 with Elycitor 0,3g /L, Overdrive 2ml/L, sensi calmag 1,5 ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. Day 113: Watering for Malawi 2, 6 L, pH 6,1 with Elycitor 0,35 g/L, sensi calmag 2ml/L, overdrive 2ml/L and molasses 2 ml/L Day 114: Nothing special. They're still fattening. One can't see the evolution from day to day now but from floating week to floating week...Yes ! End of eleventh week of flowering.

Day 116 (04/04/2022): Twelfth week of flowering started ! Watering for both Golden tiger: 5,5 L /plant, pH 6,1 with Elycitor 0,3g/L, Orga bloom 2 ml/L, Sensi calmag 1ml/L, Overdrive 2ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. This will be the last week featuring Overdrive. Each plant has its distinct smell pine, nuts, flower, carrot, hearth, exotic fruits. Hard for me to describe because of language barrier and difficulties to put a name on a smell. Very different from what I've been used to along previous grows. But, one good and important point for me, those smells are "discrete" . Ace seeds,I love you more everyday and I'm thinking of a long term and exclusive relationship with you ( I still have to taste the final results !) Day 117: Watering for Malawi 2. 5,5 L, pH 6,1 with Elycitor 0,3g /L, Orga bloom 2ml/L, sensi calmag 1,5 ml /L, Overdrive 2ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. Day 118: Nothing today. Day 119: Watering for Malawi 1, 5,5L, pH 6 with Elycitor 0,3g/L, Orga bloom 2,3 ml/L, Overdrive 2ml/L and molasses 2ml/L. Checked trichomes again, Couldn't find as many amber than 1 or 2 weeks ago (when I wondered if they were not already too mature for my taste especially GT 1): They're milky and will enjoy 2 more weeks. The breeder knows what he is talking about and given informations about each strain can be 100% followed. Day 120: Watering for both Golden tiger. They drink a little less: 5,5 L gor GT1, 5L for GT2, pH 6 with Elycitor 0,3g/L, Overdrive 2ml/L and molasses 2ml/L Day 121: Watering for Malawi2. 5,1 L, pH 6 with Elycitor 0,3 g/L, Orga bloom 2ml/L, Overdrive 2mml/L and molasses 2 ml/L. From today, all plants will only have water, Elycitor and molasses( molasses for 1 more week). Yesterday I vaped a tiny Malawi 2 bud that I was about to throw in the bin 4 days ago (really tiny) => It killed me ! Asesinado for 2/3 hours. More physical than heady and very very very potent ... Day 122: Nothing today and end of twelfth week of flowering. Thanks to Blooming H, Overdrive and molasses, buds are big and solid. Trichomes everywhere and smells making me impatient of testing the plants for good Most of plants will dry and cure 'normally" but I'll keep enough( 50g wet from each plant)to experiment malawi style cob too. I'm almost sure that I had african and Thai cobs passing through my hands when I was a teen ( I lived in ports, and in these times althought we hadn't heard yet about "simnemilla" which didn't exist yet, weeds (always with seeds) and hashes were excellent, much more choice than nowadays. When I first heard about Ace's Malawi, incidentally I heard about cobs 1 or 2 weeks later and then some kind of "Ding !" in my brain.. I remembered that once or twice I had the great opportunity to smoke some when I was around 16 years old. Some of my best memories. This is how I bought some Ace seeds and decided to become a cob master 😂 ! And Indeed I'm glad that I had the Ding and finally discovered Ace seeds !!

Day 123 (11/04/2022): Thirteenth week of flowering started ! Nothing to mention. The plans eat themselves!! Trimming will be a delight (at least for Golden tiger's). Both Malawi still have a lot of fresh pistils, I think that they need at least 2 more weeks, maybe more. Plants from the other tent will be dried within the next 4 days. I might harvest the golden tiger before Malawi and use the other tent then available for drying. Malawis will have the 4X4 only for themselves to finish flowering and a slightly better light exposition than now. Day 124: Watering for Malawi 1. 5L, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,3g/L and molasses 2ml/L. By mistake, I stopped the air extractor yesterday evening when the light was off before going to bed => this morning strong smell in my place, I open the tent: Hot and humid.. 32°8 C and RH at 78% ! Thanks Gods, CO2 and Elycitor help plants with hot temp and it lasted 'only' a few hours but.. some terpenes already evaporated. Everything back to normal since 6:30 am. Lamp are on at 3:40 am so I think it didn't last more than 2,5 hours. Day 125: Watering for both Goldent tiger. 5L/plants, pH 6 with Elycitor 0,3g/L and molasses 2ml/L. Day 126: Watering for Malawi 2. 5L, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,3g/L and molasses 2ml/L. Day 127: Nothing. Lots of work with the other tent's dry harvest. Day 128: Same as yesterday. Received the corn leaves to prepare cobs, in perfect conditions and perfect size 👌 Day 129: Watering for Malawi 1 and both Golden tiger: 5,5 L / plant, pH 6,2 with Elycitor 0,3g/L and molasses 2ml/L. End of 13th week of flowering and getting close to the end of the grow.

Day 130 (18/04/2022): 14th week of flowering started. Watering for Malawi 2. 5,2L pH 6 with Elycitor 0,3g/L and molasses 2ml/L. I'll cut the golden tigers soon. On all plants, buds are dense, solid and sticky and the harvest should give a good dry weight 😍 Day 131: Nothing. Busy with what's dry from the other tent. Day 132: Nothing. I'll probably harvest Golden tiger 2 later today and maybe GT1 or part of it too. NB: Golden tiger 2 harvested: 720 g wet, I forecast +/- 130g dry for the smallest plant of four. That's nice and more than expected. It's smells good Thai, fruity flowers and sour I used 123g of fesh weed to get 100 g of fresh trimed weed and rolled 3 cobs. One 50g and two 25, vacuum sealed and stoed in the oven at 50°C for 20/24 hours. I'll check them tomorrow and store them somewhere else with T° 25/30°C for another week if everything is fine. I'm glad that I finally did it ! 😎 Unless something is wrong in the coming days, I'll do more using GT2 and malawi 2. Day 33: Nothing. Harvested Golden tiger 1 in the afternoon: 930g wet. I thought that this one would yeld a bit more. Took 200g to make 150 trimmed g and made another 6 cobs. Moved both Malawis toward the center of the tent. Day 134: Watering for both Malawi. 5L/plant, pH 6,1 with Elycitor 0,3g/L and molasses 2ml/L Day 135: Nothing. Day 136: Lowered some Malawi 2's branches and the lamp too. End of 14th week of flowering !

Day 137 (25/04/2022): 15th week of flowering started for the Malawis ! Certainly the last one at least for Malawi 1. Day 138: Watering for both malawi. 5L/plant pH6,1 with Elycitor 0,3g/L and molasses 2ml/L. I couldn't resist testing some golden tiger looking dry enough and 1) I put today's photos to the trash and emptied it before coming here to upload...the photos 2) I should have checked trichomes before watering: Malawi 1 is ready and will be harvested tomorrow or the day after. Ok, but it's not the devastating thing that it's supposed to be. I hope the malawis are stronger. Day 139: Nothing. I'll harvest Malawi 1 tomorrow. Day 140: Both Malawi harvested on the end of their 102th day of flowering 😛 I got 770 g wet from Malawi1 and 880g wet from Malawi 2. Took a little bit from each plant to make more cobs. Then it was time to unseal the other cobs who have been fermenting for 7 days. They'ill dry for 4/5 days before I test them and reseal. This is the end of this grow and I feel a bit lost. I'll create the harvest weeks when the strains are dry. Then tents cleaning and no time left before summer to start something when the tents are ready. No new grow before next august but it will be another Ace seeds one: Zamaldelica X kali china, malawi X PCK & malawi X panama is what is on my mind !

@@@Weedelfe, Well, I've not personally grown Panama x Malawi yet...I think it would be 1rightangle. I had the cross from their RD section Bubba Kush Katsu x Old Malawi Killer. All Malawi were different but similar. All of them had in common a very intense effect on every hit (well, it comes to a point, if you roll a few grams joint....), with dizziness and visual effects. Not the common Sativa type high. I have grown many strains over years but the resin production on this strain is exceptional. Therpene profile vary from different phenotypes. The one I Love the most😍 is the one crossed with Bubba Kush, from their RD section. But the strongest is the one grown with the Killer A5. It is very stable in the way it won't hermie out and effects are consistent with some similar look, texture, background smell-taste. Awesome IBL breeding job from ACE preserving diversity and minimising hermaphrodite common survival traits from landraces. What I've learned growing it? Don't be intimidated! stretch is about 3.5 but stop stretching before bulk. Medium feeding but might be Calcium hungry at bulk stage.

Yes, the results should be good and imo the reasons are 1) excellent genetics, 2) Good environmental conditions ( very good soil, good light correctly used, RH and T° checked and adjusted daily if required, correct watering, pH adjustment 3) scrog technique !! 4) good nutrients 5) much care and love. Nothing really special if you are really interested in the subject, experiment a bit and learn from your experiences.

@PaulM,Thank you PaulM ! I visited your diary several times , very excited to see your scrog. I think that your plants didn't grow enough because the lamp is 10/15 cm too far from canopy. Good grow to you 🙏 !

Don't get me wrong: I really Love your grow and your plants looks awesome. But I don't think we have the same conception of a SCROG. A proper SCROG job to me would be an even canopy, all square filled with a 6-8 inches branch. I am not a purist though. And your plants are awesome. I would probably love a SCROG job like yours, since you do have long donkey dicks colas, and not just a ton of golf ball size nugs. (reason I said I did not like to SCROG)

@sativaman, I had to search, ask questions on forums, read and watch videos to know what 'it's about. The net is usually placed 20/25cm from soil (less and it becomes really hard to water and clean what's under the net) and more is less height remaining for plants to grow. It must be very tight. As soon as a branch reaches the net, you will use the net mesh to twist the branch above below the net's stitches and repeat the process until you let plant(s) grow freely. For sativas, you usually switch to flowering when 50/60% of the net is covered ( 70/80 % for indicas) and keep on twisting branches above below the net until 100 % of the net is covered. Then you let let your plant(s) grow freely. For all this time, vertical growth will have been.. horizontal, apical dominance has been fully broken and the first weeks of stretch were used to finish to fill the net instead of letting plants gain height. You usually clean what's under the net when first pistils appear and also buds sites above the net that won't obviously never grow enough. As a result, you reduce plants size by 50%, improve light efficiency (the whole canopy takes light and there is much less distance to penetrate => ppfd acceptable for flowering at the net level), you totally broke apical dominance and so get lots of big colas instead of 1 or 2 huge ones. NB: -My present scrog isn't quite optimal because I switched to flowering a little too early, afraid by the potential stretch and that I didn't to a good enough job with cleaning ( there are some micro buds +branches that shoud have been cut in its time). - The net will be used only once: When it comes to the cut, branches are so intricated in the net's stitches that you have to cut it to free plants and be able to harvest properly - Better to have a grow tent with 4 (at least 3) openings ( watering, cleaning, work on the net are much easier this way although they're still less easy than without scrog ) - Use the same genetics or several but with same flowering time and potential height. -The torture inflicted to plants is supposed to increase a little potency.
