TheCannaProphet ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2205 ~
Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together!
The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel.
This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential!
One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... π€ͺ But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth.

~THE SETUP~
~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78β distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78β where they stayed until their tap roots emerged.
~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78β with a 7.0 ph.
~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots.
~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4.
~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation.
~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings.
~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's.

Weekly Updates:
12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78β distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78β where they stayed until their tap roots emerged which usually takes roughly 24 hours. These seeds however didn't follow the rules and took their fine time to pop out their tap roots.
12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/4 to 3/8" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78β with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened ...waiting on the #2. π§
I was concerned that one of the seeds may fail as she took so long to germinate so I soaked two more as an insurance policy. Naturally, BOTH of the second set of seeds popped their tap roots within 24 hours. One of the first round seeds failed to germinate which left me with three viable seeds, one in a pellet already and two showing tap roots. I planted both of the second round seeds into the same peat pellet that I had previously soaked.
12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the #1 FBT #2205 and I anticipate seeing one or both of the second round poking their heads out real soon! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time.
12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so tomorrow I'll transfer her into her 4g Gronest pot.
The second round seeds finally made an appearance and I decided to yank the smaller of the two keeping me from having to stress them when I separated them.... this will be Day One for the #2! She looks really healthy and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days!

Weekly Updates:
12/8- Today the #2 FBT #2205 got placed into a 3qt fabric pot that I had previously filled with some amended coco/perlite. Before I placed her Jiffy pellet into her new pot, I coated the hole with a tbsp. of Xtreme Gardening's Mycos which I love using! After putting her in the pot and making her snug and comfy, I watered her with just 6oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner added and then ph'd to 6.2 @ 72β. After I watered her I placed a clear Solo cup over her to help her acclimate to her new digs. I'll remove the cup as soon as I see she's not stressed and is remaining perky.
12/10- Yesterday I removed the clear Solo cup from her as she's looking great, a little small right now but otherwise she's a winner! ππ
Today was basically just checking on her as at this stage she's not drinking much. I have the RH in the tent set to 75% and with the temp's running in the mid 70'sβ my VPD numbers are real close to being ideal, currently running at .88-.90 but I'd like them to be closer to a .68-.70 during this early vegetation period.
12/12- I watered both girls yesterday with 0.1g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner added and then ph'd to 6.2 @ 72β.
Today all I did was check on the humidifier (which is set at 80% RH) and refilled it with distilled water. The girls are looking fantastic and are starting to take off!
12/14- I watered both of the testers this morning with the usual 0.1g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner added and then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74β.
Onward to next week where these girls should be sprouting some new sets of leaves and getting taller! ππ€π

Weekly Updates:
12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since these pretty ladies popped out of the ground and they're both looking perfect and have pistils popping out everywhere!
Their fabric pots were still heavy when lifted, and they looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check them tomorrow morning after the lights come on.
Since being topped roughly a week ago, they have two new shoots that are emerging and looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! The #1 is now at 7" tall and the #2 a bit taller at 9".
12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches.
It's been a little over four weeks since they were planted in their amended medium and it's time to give their microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide them with all the macro and micro nutrients they need so, yesterday they got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73β.
01/02- Today I watered them from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues they may encounter before they arrive.
I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74β with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with!
01/04- They have both been doing really well getting watered every other day and yesterday they received 0.5g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72β.
They're both doing fantastic but were really beginning to get choked up with growth so I went in and selectively removed a few shade leaves from both to get some light penetration down into their canopies to give that lower growth some much needed light. While I was doing that I also did a little more LST on both to also increase light penetration.
Well, there goes another week in our journey and I'm looking forward to the coming weeks as flowering gets cranked up! ππ

Weekly Updates:
1/12- Here we go into the 3rd week of flower for these girls and they're both looking amazing, especially the #2 pheno which is an absolute beast!
I'm continuing with my regime of daily watering, leaf tucking, branch bending and pot turning. I'm also closely monitoring the environmental conditions as I noticed that my co2 ppm was low and found that the regulator was bad. No worries as I always keep two backups for any mechanical/electrical equipment as they seem to fail when you need them most!
I have the HLG 650R's hung 34" above canopy and set at 75% now through a Trolmaster light controller and have my A/C unit in the grow room set to 65β which is keeping tent temp's at 73-74β with the lights on. The A/C is on a timer which shuts it off with the lights keeping 'night' temp's at 68β. The RH in the tent is a constant 44-45% and I've got plenty of air circulation on them.
1/14- Today I continued with the daily regime of watering with 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that was ph'd to 6.6 @ 72β. Before I watered I top dressed their mediums with 1/2 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish each to give an additional boost of P & K since they're into flower.
Both of the 2205's are doing great, with both of them strong and healthy! They're both putting out numerous flowers now, with the #1's looking a little bigger in size but both plants flowers are amazing!
1/16- I gave them both a heavy water yesterday with almost 0.75g and today they were 'praying' hard so I skipped watering them today and will pick it up again tomorrow.
I did some adjusting to the LST, tightening up a few of the wires to keep the canopy even on both and removed a couple of lower shade leaves on both that were useless.
1/18- I watered both yesterday and today when I tilted them they were both light, so I watered them again but without runoff.
The 2205's flowering is going well and their health remains on point! There's three weeks of flower behind them now with another 5-7 weeks yet to go which is going to be getting more exciting as they progress through flower! π

Weekly Updates:
1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!π₯π₯π₯
Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74β. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out.
I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73β which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74β temperature in the tent while the lights are on.
1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74β and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #2 is just enormous with tons of bud sites and flowers that are starting to get a coating of white trichomes giving her that frosty appearance!
1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74β. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish.
1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74β.
Both testers are extremely healthy and in max flower mode. Both testers are looking amazing and always in a constant state of 'praying'! I'm really looking forward to Week Five of flower where these ladies should start to look epic! ππ

Weekly Updates:
1/26- Well here we go into the fifth week of flower and oh my these testers are on fire!
They're both stacking their flowers and they are just about equal in appearance and development, although the #2 tester does have a major advantage in overall size.... a freaking BEAST!
I skipped watering today but will be watering in the morning with the usual 0.75g of de-chlorinated water that is ph'd to 6.5-6.6 @ 72β.
I'm turning their pots 1/4 turn daily just before the UVA kicks on (they're getting 4 hours of UVA daily in the middle of the light cycle) and continuing to tuck and/or remove shade leaves to keep the light penetration at it's highest.
I've got the HLG 650R's at 85% now and hung at 32" above the canopy. The tent temp's are at 73β with the lights on and drop to 68deg with the lights off. The AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller is set at 1200ppm's now and the tent is maintaining an average co2 level of 1100ppm's currently. Humidity levels are constant at 38-44% giving VPD's in the 1.40-1.60 range.ππ
We're about halfway to the finish line and the coming weeks should be getting very interesting indeed!
1/28- I watered both yesterday with 0.75g each of de-chlorinated water that was ph'd to 6.5-6.6 @ 72β, after which I gave their pots a turn and tucked in a few shade leaves on them that were blocking light from flowers.
Both of these girls are doing exceptionally well and have maintained great health and vigor throughout this entire run! The #2 phenotype is the larger of these two for sure, with a wide spread out structure, while the #1 is not quite as tall and has a tighter structure. Both phenotypes are stacking their flowers and I've also noticed that their trichome production has increased.
1/30- All I did today was water each with 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 72β and turned their pots. Both are looking exceptional!
2/1- Well there goes another week and our journey is quickly coming to a close with both ladies now 59 days from breaking ground. I'm checking their trichomes daily and anticipate that in the next few days they'll be going in the dark for 48 hours before being harvested and hung to begin the drying/curing process!
I watered both with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 72β, turned pots and told them how beautiful they were!
Onward to the Ninth week for these two testers from FastBuds! So far, this has been a super fun grow with these two testers that were super easy to cultivate and the end result (as always from FastBuds) is some epic cultivars that check off all the boxes! Stay tuned as these two finish up, it should be interesting to see their yields and flowers!

2/9- Wow! Week TEN...Seventy days from seed and these ladies are absolutely amazing looking!
The 2 phenotypes remain equal in flower development. Both ladies flowers are densely stacked and have a beautiful lime green hue contrasted by numerous bright orange pistils. The #2 is still the beast with her wide spread branching and numerous bud sites! The #1 has a slightly more compact structure but she's LOADED with gorgeous flowers!
Daily watering/flushing with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which is ph'd to 6.6 @ 72β continues as these girls stay thirsty!
2/11- I watered today, removed some shade leaves from the canopy and turned their pots.
2/13- Both were watered today with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.6 @ 72β. I also removed some shade leaves that had begun to yellow and checked trichomes on both... getting CLOSE! π
2/15- Both girls are just about ready to get finished up and I'll be putting them both in the dark for 72hrs. @ 63-65β to finish them off and really boost their trichome production before they're harvested.
I skipped flushing today, tomorrow they'll get watered before going dark. I'll also monitor them while they're in the dark to make sure that the medium does not dry out completely to ensure that all their metabolic processes continue uninterrupted.
Next week will be the finale and what a journey it's been growing these incredible cultivars from FastBuds... See you there! β€οΈ

Weekly Updates:
2/16- Well here we go, fifty three days in flower and both of these ladies are ready to go spend 72hrs in the dark as their trichomes are just about perfect with 90% of them a beautiful milky white, the remainder turning light amber.
I watered both with .5g of de-chlorinated water that was ph'd to 6.6 @ 65β to ensure they didn't dry out while in the dark as I keep the RH at 35-40%.
Giving them 72hrs of darkness, coupled with temp's in the low 60'sβ, serves to induce stress upon them which in turn causes them to react by producing additional trichomes to aid in fertilization (not happening!).
2/19- The ladies were released from 'Dark Jail' today and are both looking spectacular, covered in sparkling trichomes and are smelling amazing! I can't wait to get them hung to begin drying!
Onward to the harvest! Thank you so much for all your support and β€οΈ as it really does mean a lot!

~FASTBUDS AMNESIA ZKITTLEZ~
Old-school and modern Cali genetics at their best. With up to 24% THC
Of the two plants I grew I ended up with a pair of phenotypes that showed visible differences that carried over to the taste as well.
The #1 pheno expressed more of her Zkittlez lineage with a slightly shorter structure, tighter node spacing and flowers that were definitely fruity. They both finished together, finishing in 77 days from germination and were in flower 53 days. I based their harvest time on trichome development and maturity.
The #2 phenotype, which turned out to be my FAVORITE, had a wider node spacing, expressing more of her sativa Amnesia lineage, which gave her a gorgeous structure! The #2's aroma was unique as well, more earthy than sweet with just a hint of diesel...Mouthwatering!
Smoking both revealed differences with the #2's flowers having a hint of earth & spice on the inhale, with a 'diesel' taste on the exhale. Whereas the #1 was candy & berries all the way that lingered in your mouth a good while.... absolutely DELICIOUS!
Both pheno's had similar effects hitting you quickly with a rush to the head stimulating your creative side, especially the more sativa #2 phenotype. They both then will have you eventually fading into a more total body high with the #1 phenotype achieving this effect sooner due to leaning to the indica side... a FANTASTIC all day smoke for sure! ππ

What can I say, another mind blowing strain from FastBuds! This was a super easy strain to grow. It handled topping and LST like a champ and never exhibited any issues with deficiencies or stress.
Because I grew two plants I was able to see two distinct phenotypes expressed:
The #1 pheno expressed more of her Zkittlez lineage with a slightly shorter structure, tighter node spacing and flowers that were definitely fruity. They both finished together, finishing in 77 days from germination and were in flower 53 days. I based their harvest time on trichome development and maturity.

Structurally, there were definite differences from node spacing, to overall size. The differences insofar as final yield ended with the #1 edging out the #2 by roughly 17g which I'm attributing to the #1's node spacing being tighter which made for some super thick flowers.
Smoking both revealed similar differences with the #1's flowers having a hint of earth & spice on the inhale, with a 'diesel' taste on the exhale. Whereas the #2 was candy & berries all the way that lingered in your mouth a good while.... absolutely DELICIOUS!
I would recommend Amnesia Zkittlez to everyone from novice to master growers... You'll definitely β€οΈ growing this strain, I know I did!
Woah nice buds!
Thank you for sharing your experience with us :)
We hope that you liked growing our genetics, and enjoy the harvest!
The photos look amazing π
