Everything is going well, transplanted the two ladies from a 1 gal into a 10 gal, excited to see them growing fast. Im Mainlining one of the white widows and really just LST/topping the other.
Making some mistakes, I had the lights too close and my runoff was 4000ppm. In some of the pictures you can see some brown spots. Im not sure if it was because the lights were too close or nutrient burn was causing the damage. I raised the light 12 or so inches. Hopefully with the flush and raised lights they will improve.
Over the past couple of weeks I've been trying to diagnose an issue with both of my plants. New growth was stunted and brown spots started to appear and curl. After testing my straight ph runoff water I found that my ppm was off the charts at 3800ppm with a runoff PH of 5.6 I have flushed twice since then and they have started to heal. I had transplanted into a bigger pot and used some coco loco medium not realizing that I needed to do a flush the girls suffered a bit but they're healing up.
The last feeding I gave them 1/2 strength nutrients and they reacted well to It after two consecutive flushes.
This week I took 9 cuttings and set up my EZ clone system in my smaller tent. After they develop some good roots Ill transfer them to my empty 4x4.
I will switch to flower next week.
They could both veg for another week but I couldn't resist to flip em so I'll wait till next week to officially label them flowered. I did take a shit load of cuttings that are rooting so that's fun but for now Ill focus all the attention on these 2 main white widows from Seedsman.
I went ahead a did a big defoliation and tied down most of the mains for the flower stretch. Next week if buds start to show I will intro some bud nutes.
The stems are getting stumpy and swelling and they both took the stress of the defoliation well. Thats it for now all is well.
Everything seems to be going smooth. Introduced bloom nutrients this week, she's got a bit more to stretch. Looking forward to the bud development.
Grow Tip: doing less is more
I always enjoy this stage of flowering, shit I love all stages of flowering... tent is starting to smell... stretching has slowed... buds are starting to bulge. Both girls are short, squatty and thick.
I am having some rust spotting on a few newer leaves on the top half of the plant. I believe they need a calcium and magnesium supplement but im waiting a few days until im sure that's what they need other than that things are pretty chill
One of the two phenos is a week ahead of the other.
The buds are developing and frosting up real nice.
Im having a little issue with yellowing fan leaves on the upper half of the plants... after some research it seems like some growers have the same issue with this strain so idk... any thoughts?
I dusted off a old camera I hadn't used in a long time, working on taking better quality pictures.
Thanks for following
Today is day 51 since I flipped the switch. They are starting to put on some rock weight. Going to give her one more week of overdrive and then flush with flawless.
The buds put on some size this last week. This strain was supposed to be around 8 weeks but I’m day 58 since flipping the switch and they are still going.
Started flushing today with plain water and flawless finish. My runoff ppm was at 1000, I’ll keep flushing this week. My harvest date will be right at 10 weeks.
