🌱First Grow🌱 🗓️04/03/2022 Hye. So.. this week I see some more trichomes developing. The buds are looking more frosty. If I go real close I can smell a pine/lemon smell. I harvested the Marigold Bush. I wanted to preserve the flower instead of them rotting away. Found some interesting bugs.. check them out. I am using a bottle with water and wik to create some more humidity. Thanks for reading. 🌍 Weather:☀️☀️☀️☁️🌧️☁️🌤️ 🌱Nutrients: Fish tank water as nutrients: (K) Bounce Back: (N)(P)(K)(Ca)(S)(Mg) Telborne Organics: 3:1:5(18) (N)(Ca)(Na)(Fe)(B)(P)

Hi.. Does anyone want to guess how many weeks still left till Harvest? I know its hard if it's not a known genetic. I would rather harvest late than early. Thanks

You've still got a while to go, she still needs to bulk up. Faster flowering plants can be done in 7 or 8 weeks, but mostly 10 or so. You're probably looking at around 12 weeks. Once all the pistils start dying and going brown she'll be finishing up. Also, keep those caterpillars away from your plants. They like to eat into the bud and it can cause bud rot. With the marigolds, leave 1 or 2 flowers to dry in the pot and then open up the base, there are neatly stacked long black seeds that you can keep for next season.

Hi. Is there anyone that could maybe teach me a more productive or more beneficial way of getting the plant to intake the nutrients. The way I'm doing it at this point is just mixing it with water.

Add some mycorrhizae to your substrate, something like "Mykos" or "Great White Shark". They may be expensive, but are worth every cent! These soil fungi live on the plants' roots and basically "pre-digest" nutrients in the substrate, meaning the nutrients are far more readily available for the plant, with a corresponding efficiency of nutrient uptake and a noticeable increase in plant vigor. Through this increased efficiency, feeding is less frequent and the plants are far more resilient to pests and diseases too. Adding the mycorrhizae is not an instant effect, but will take 2-3 weeks for the fungi to colonize on the roots and then they get going. If added to the substrate pre-planting, as soon as the seedlings emerge, the mycorrhizae start growing on the roots, meaning nutrient uptake efficiency basically starts from day one. They are so good for the plants, that I think their addition to the substrate should be compulsory for every cannabis grower, so convinced am I about their absolute benefit to the plants. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Hey man that's the sugar leaves that your photo is of they will always ripen earlier than the actual bud itself, take a look at the trichomes on the calyxes as apposed to the leaves the calyxes are where the hairs come from ✌️✌️🌱 hope this helped

Well, first of all- if thats all you have avaliable to you to use for fertlizer, then you need to mix it up with some soil, (prawns, coffee grinds, and some grass clippings or plant material, straw works fine too, and some kind of manure -cow, chicken ect..) and once its all mixed up with some soil, you try to keep it damp if possible for a month MINIMUM, 2 months is better, and every few weeks turn it over and mix it up again with a shovel. If you use 50% soil and the other 50% of the mix is prawns, coffee grinds, straw/hay, manure etc, then once its sat around for a few months it will be ready to use as a fertlizer. You plant is showing signs of both nutrient over load and deficency at the same time, The leaves are burning as the prawns first turn to Ammonia as they start to break down, then Nitrites then Nitrates that the plant can use. So u need to let them break down first before putting them anywhere near your plants. The coffee grinds being very acidic along with the ammonia is likely whats causing the leaf burn. Your plan need potassium - so potatoes and bananas are high in potassium, But it will take weeks to break down and be able to be used by the plant, And your plant will be finished by then. Bat guano would also be a good option to use now if you can get it, mix with water and water in well. But for next grow if you want to stick with organic, mix up a compost in advance and use that for feeding. Summer just finished here and im already planning my compost for next summers grow, I will have it all made up and aging by the start of winter.

She's looking awesome man. Great job! Guessing you are in the southern hemisphere? We have a few more weeks before they flip to flower and sure a little more LST to open her up would promote more growth on the side branches, but otherwise she's looking happy and healthy. Be careful of using thin string or wire to tie them down, it can cut into the stem. I use pipe cleaners and pegs or thick soft string.

@HomeGrowBro, nice, you're very close to me then boet haha if your baby survived the weekend, then she's got no problems haha The LST is pretty easy, just open the branches up by tying them down. Called Low Stress Training. My biggest tip is go slow and be gentle and also do it in veg, once they start to flower the stems normally stiffen up like mad and snap much easier.

Last year I had to chop outdoors early before due to bud rot, it sucks, but it was definitely a better idea than letting the whole season go to waste. Nice harvest, hope it comes out good.

@johdlong, Thanks. I'm happy at this point. I struggle to sometimes complete task. I feel like this time I am almost complete. Once I complete something it turns into a life time hobby. Like playing guitar is a life time hobby for me.
