Hey peeps and welcome to the second half of my tester diary. I am incredibly honoured to be picked by fastbuds to test their new line of seeds which they have pending for next years release. I will be growing them in a mixture of soil, coco and perlite in a combo of ceramic and fabric pots around 11L and a couple in 5L. They will be fed generic organic liquid fertiliser and will start in root riot cubes that will go straight to final pot and grown under a mars hydro tsw2000.
Update: after just 24hrs the seeds have all cracked and now in their pots ready for their first week.
Update: sadly fbt2211 appears to have died off so I will be soaking another seed to get her going with the rest by next week.
6/12-10/12: hey peeps welcome to my 1st week with the girls. They have all sprouted quite nicely and number 11s new seed is started to come above ground. They all have a unique look to each of them. Temps 25c r.h.55
13/12-17/12: hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the girls. This week they are busy getting some more height and covering more surface area with their leaves number 11 is above ground now so will hopefullysee some growth from her next week. Temps 25c r.h.55
20/12-24/12: Hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the girls. There is a beautiful variety amongst my tent with these ladies. All having different characteristics from the next. We are showing preflowers already which is incredible speed, so tune in next week to see 1st week of flower. The only downside I have at the moment is the fbt2211 isnt looking like she will survive so I will have to try it once the grow with the others is complete Temps 25c r.h.55
27/12-31/12: Hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the girls. We are in the 1st week of flower now and the girls are focusing on their final stretch and bud sites. But I will say fbt2212 is a beast and the biggest among the bunch. Temps 25c r.h.55
3/1-7/1: Hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the girls. We are in week 2 of flower and the stretching isn't as noticeable now and they seem to be preparing those bud sites to develop and swell. Temps 25c r.h.55
10/1-14/1: Hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the girls. The girls are doing well and packing on weight now as well as starting to create a plethora of smells. Temps 25c r.h.55
17/1-21/1: Hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the girls. They are coming along nicely. I have given them all my own names at this point as the strains themselves are unreleased. So No7 i called solero as I has a citrusy sorbet smell of tangerine, lemon and lime. No8 i have named lime cookies as you guessed smells strongly of lime but with the distinct menthol/minty smell of a cookies strain. No9 I'm calling watermelon as it has a smell similar to a watermelon strain I have just grown which is fruity, but with a musky/cheesey twist. No10 I have named lavender as she has purple flowers and a distinct smell of lavender with sweet lemon scent. No12 goes unamed for now as she hasn't quite developed as much of the others and hasn't a smell of her own yet. Temps 25c r.h.55
24/01-28/01: hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the girls. We are in the 5th week of flower and the girls are starting to pack on weight and trichomes. The smells coming from these strains are unbelievable but most notably is their structure as the stalks are nice and thick for bud support and likewise for the bud sites. Temps 25c r.h.55
31/01-04/02: hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the girls. By the looks of it the lavender and the watermelon will finish 1st in the next week or so. Then followed by the others. Temps 25c r.h.45
07/02-11/02: Hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the girls. All the girls are chugging along nicely. No.8 got caught by the mites but I have treated her and shes recovered nicely as we are in the final weeks now. I think that no.10 will finish 1st with no.9 and no.8 following after and no.7 and no.12 are guna be the last to finish. All on water no nutes Temps 25c r.h.45
14/02-18/02: Hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the girls. We are in the final weeks now 12 will be last too finish out of the bunch mainly I think down to her size but all the others are down and drying. Temps 25c r.h.45
