Day 43 - In an effort to better control conditions, I broke down and purchased an Inkbird Temp and Humidity controller. Currently only controlling humidity which is set at 50%. Day 45 - Watered 20oz. Now have heat controlled as well. Reset humidity to 44% with an 8% fallback. Temperature is 75F with a 6 degree fallback. Day 47 - Watered 11oz.

This is my first time growing anything, so I have no idea. Medium is Detroit Co. Great Lakes Water Only Soil. 18/6 light. This girl is 11 days from breaking soil. I'm concerned about the texture of the leaves, they seem almost wrinkled and also dark in color. Any input is appreci

You plant looks mostly OK. I would not change anything at this point. It's not a supermodel but it's doing good so I'd continue on without major change. That soil might be a bit nutrient heavy for a new sprout but your plant is doing OK so I wouldn't worry. Keep an eye on the plant for signs of nutrient deficiency in the future. You probably can go 3-4 weeks without needing to add additional nutrients and might go longer. This website is good at diagnosing common nutrient problems: https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-symptoms-pictures

Several leaves have developed spots like this over the last 72 hours. The plant is 26 days old and otherwise seems OK. Any thoughts on what it is? What do do, if anything.

When you water avoid to wet the leaves, the water cause a magnifier effect and is not good because they get damaged. From what i can see you have some pictures in your diary, whit some wet leaves. This might be your problem Good luck πŸ‘ŠπŸ½πŸ€

Nutrient deficiency? Over/under watering? Light Burn? She is growing in Great Lakes Water Only Soil, and is at day 30. Could be running out of something, but these spots don't seem to match-up well with any guides Watering about 17oz every other day into a 3 gal pot Thanks!

I think your plant is fine. The spots looks like water burn. The top leaves looks like slight nutrient burn.

Does this look normal? First time grower so no idea. Plant is 60 days old. Concerned that "hairs" are turning brown. Is the white on the leaves "sugar"? Also, the plant has largely stopped making "weed" smell. So many questions . . .

The hairs (pistils) purpose is to catch the pollen from the male plant and then the pollen spores will grow down the pistil to fertilize the ovule (embryonic seed) located at the base of the pistils. The older the ovule, the less fertile it becomes, with a corresponding drying up and browning of the pistils, which are then less able to catch pollen. This way, only the freshest and most fertile ovules have the greatest chance of being pollinated/fertilized. Therefore, the whiter the pistils, the "fresher" the ovule. Conversely, the "staler" the ovule, the browner/more dried up the pistils. In human terms, once the pistils have turned brown, the ovule is past being fertilized and that calyx/pod/bract holding the ovule and pistils, is equivalent of having reached menopause. So, the fact that some pistils are turning brown is completely normal in the cannabis reproductive cycle and is not an issue for concern, it is just that those calyxes/pods/bracts that have become too old to grow seeds. Yes, the white crystals/trichomes are what contains the THC and other cannabinoids that get you high, and are also a good sign of the plant ripening and maturing. Aroma can come and go throughout the flowering cycle depending on what type of cannabinoid synthesis is occurring at that time and will eventually increase in intensity as the flowers ripen, Again, this is a normal part of the flower maturation process. Sometimes the lack of smell is because we as humans get used to the smell and don't notice it as much anymore, a bit like a person who works at a fish market and can't smell anything fishy anymore. Invite a friend over and I bet they will say your plants stink! Hope this helps, Organoman.

Hey man nice looking tent, I would like to offer some pointers to try and help out if I may ? First of all this stage of growth we would want to have a little bit warmer of an enviroment for the plants with both lights on and lights off. Cannabis plants LOVE heat and humidity, It is the buds that hate it. We can get much more vigorous growth if we exploit that fact. Up until around weeks 4 to 6 of flower we like to go for up to 82 with lights on no less than 80 and no more than 9 degrees less with the lights off. While the plants are still growing vertically up until that point of time in flower if we expose the plants to larger than 10 degree temp fluctuations between lights on and lights off they will stretch a lot. After weeks 4 to 6 in flower we then open up that temp gap beyond 10 degrees and that same stress will send signals to put extra energy into the budding process and resin production. If you do not have them already get yourself a PAR meter and a thermal temp gun off amazon. They will help you read what your plants are experiencing both in how much light they are getting and the temperature on your plants themselves which is what you really want to know. These 2 pieces of equipment will really help you get the most potential out of your lights onto your plants. For 100W LED you should be wanting to get those lights a lot closer to the plants. Lack of light intensity will result in not very much cake and very airy buds. I hope this helps my friend, If you got the time please check out my 200 light LED 7,000 plant diary & follow my profile. If you ever have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Happy growing!

Lost one of the two. It pushed itself out of the soil but never grew. Leaves of the one that lived have a little bit of a purple color to them. As does the stem at the base.
