Take 2 for Kush mints fast. Round 1 had 2 auto flowers, 1 I tossed and 1 I kept. Both very small. The one I kept is actually looking/doing really well just in a 1 gal pot. Might have some fire bud from it.
Take 2 germinated properly again and no issues. Started with a cup of 6.5 pH water then moved to paper towel. 2 days of the process to hit the soil and 1 day later it rose above the dirt! Stay tuned(I'm several weeks behind in this diary) will catch up
Week 1 of vegetation went well. I would say the rapic start and bio root were not needed yet per the tip color. Next grow I'll wait a week before adding these two. No issues otherwise. Stay tuned
Transplanted after a few weeks from 1/4 gal of soil in a 1/2 gal pot(1 gal pot folded in half) into a 5 gallon fabric pot. Transplant went alil hairy at first until I got smart and just cut the fabric pot apart to do the transplant which went very well. Slightly pre wet soil with bio/root, root start, armor si and cal mag. The soil and been sitting in the pot a few weeks due to another seed failing. The soil has stayed very warm and ready just got dry and needed a pre moistening.
Hoping to grow about 2-3 more nods before I cut her down for my first mainline attempt, if that's the correct term. Looks like something I need to try. Since this tent will be strictly for this 1 plant I'll have the space to do alot of LST! Very excited. Hope this stays a photo period and lets me control it. Hoping to have one heck of a tasty plant as kush mints is one of my new favorites. Very great smoke just hope I can capture some if my own. Stay tuned !
I'm actually very sad and this will be my last wasted attempt at running Crockett Family Farms Kush mints Fast that was a limited release limited time only. That should if been my red flag that the quality was likely poor, under bred. 1 failed to germinate, 1 died after living for 1 week, several have now been tossed due to being auto flowers that flipped on week 3 at a very small size. A few others looked great in flower but had hermie bananas popping out of female calyx's in mid flower. Iv been holding to do mainlining before flipping to 12/12 but it looks like I won't find any viable Photoperiod seeds in this batch to do so.
A couple months of wasted time has gone by trying 2 separate rounds if running this Strain with not one single out of several now work out. I will not be trying anymore of these seeds anytime soon. I'm fairly upset but fortunate to not have pollinated my room. Please avoid gelato seeds . Com for the packs of kush mints fast from Crockett's they have. These must be very poor quality. Iv ran several other strains at the same time, same conditions with success so there is something wrong with these seeds. Very sad day.
So far growing very healthy just wish I knew it was an auto so I could have topped it but oh well. I'll be keeping a very very close eye for more hermaphrodites as this batch of crocketts seeds has been nothing but I problem for me but I would really like to see a finished product. Hopefully this stays on track and does not kick any bananas in the future. I'm still sticking with this last one for now...
I might also be a week behind in my update. Week 2 of flower is about complete. Stretching seems to have slowed. It def has some stretch in it. If this was hydro it would be I bet nearly 1 foot of stretch. Stay tuned
I am one week behind. This particular week had gone really well. This plant had a perfect green. Again, really wish I trained this but it was supposed to be a photo and I was holding out to manifold/top until it flipped on me. My first time seeing a plant grow naturally. Now I see why we train them. It still has been a learning experience.
Feeding around once a week with water only in between. The hydroton stones in the bottom in the bag really really helped with drainage even though these particular fabric pots I'm using drain very well to begin with...
Stay tuned
Another very smooth week. Honestly this plant is on auto pilot which is funny considering it turned out to be an auto flower like all of the rest. I am happy with how healthy it has been. The trichomes are really coming in. I'm still sad I did not expect the auto flower and train the plant before it flipped because the node spacing and bud development is spot on.
We have now reached the danger zone. Several other plants developed bananas around this time frame. I will be inspecting this plant very thoroughly throughout the week and remainder of flower. So far so good as I see absolutely no signs of any development within the female calyx's yet. None spotted on any buds. The coast is clear for now but I'm not out of this yet. I found kush mints last year and I knew I had to find it and grow it for my well being. This strain is my medicine but she really is having a tough time allowing me to grow it. It's near impossible to find and this is my way of having her for myself. I had planned to clone and had space saved in other tents and event loaded up on all the cloning hardware and accessories Ill need for successful rooting. The aeroponic system will have to wait for another strain to break in. It's been a journey. Feeding the same but backing off on the bloom and slightly upping the liq. Kool bloom.
Stay tuned, I'll do my best to keep her going till finish regardless of bananas this time since she is so spaceous.
I really lost track of time with this one. I expected more hermie traits. This plant is identical to the last one I tossed.
Thankfully, I cannot find any bananas on this one and we are nearing end. Approximately two weeks left from this point. Trichomes are very rich and there is an abundance of them! The buds are fat and low on leaf count. Very stinky earthly plant right at the moment.
1/29- flushed this for the first time.
Water only in at 6.5 pH, run off returned a 6.5 reading at a ppm of 1150.
Very excited for one of my new favorite strains. It's been alot of hard moments to swallow but along the journey things happen. I'm glad I was prepared. Thanks to all I have learned from.
Excited for this finish! It's a really fast Auto version that's for sure. It's nearly fully milky trichomes show two weeks or less. This is a fast one at just over 2 months old expected completion. That's FAST!
Stay tuned
It's been a really good week. This plant has needed nothing but some flushing.
* Light turned down to 80% power to slow new growth and induce more protection, resin! This is where maturity will speed up this last week of flush. The plant is very thick in trichomes. Pictures do not do this one justice. Once I can get it cut down I'll get amazing shots if the bud. It's incredible and smells unlike any plant I have ever grown. Potent as heck. You need a carbon filter system working very good to hold this smell back.
"Buds are very covered and complete. Nice full buds top to bottom. They will definitely have density and looks like the bag appeal will be high.
I can't believe it I'm finally going to complete one of these kush mints fast version that just refuses to not auto flip. (They have been all auto flowers this why no plant training occured yet, was holding out for mainline then it flipped!)
So I got to watch one grow naturally, Indoors. The lower buds finish much better than I thought since it's a low foliage plant. Very healthy and happy girl though.
Super excited for such an amazing strain.
I cannot wait to get this into some jars in the future. Pray for a nice finish.
Stay tuned!
It's hard to say it was a tough week when I did nothing but continue to flush, record results and wait. She is finishing so nicely and so fast. I will be cutting the lights later this week for 48 hours then chop chop as the trichomes are fully milky with some Amber around. Even the lowers now are fully milky. The bud is very dense feeling. These should be solid buds. The aroma is insane. Very minty sweet. A different smell than any other I have grown.
This one made it with no bananas!
Run off last recorded at "596" ppm the pH of the run off has been within .1 my last was 6.53 in and 6.67 out of the run off. So she is doing great.
I did go from light deprivation to hitting it hard again the last few days to see if it reacts and honestly I think this sped up the last few days of maturity as the newly developed pistols have no turned color and curled again. I think she is officially done and I'm just waiting for the soil to be nearly dry before hitting the dark. 👍
Stay tuned for chop
I can't believe I am saying this but I finally finished a kush mints fast that was another auto flower. The fastest ever for me at 61 days from seed and it's got plenty of Amber to call it done. The only one I ended up keeping. No Hermie ! Found a few mature seeds while trimming but it does not seem to have many at all throughout the plant from inspection.
The entire plant is cut, dried and trimmed.
It is so dank! Holly gassy skunk with a hint' a mint... It is so sticky and so covered that it has to be good once cured.
I flushed the crap out of this and did a really good job keeping her health. I expect premium tasting, highly effective smoke.
Stay tuned for smoke report after a few weeks of curing and more images.
Thanks

Week 10. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!
Crockett Family Farms - Kush Mints FAST - Custom Breeder & Strain
*these were to be Photoperiod fast flowering but were all auto flowers. Making it moderately difficult to grow if un prepared + the Hermie traits out of several. However 1 made it without any! Grew very easily otherwise and needed average or less nutrients to be very happy the entire grow even with a transplant right before it flipped! 61 days from seed and 43 grams of super fire weed that is not rock hard but dense and tight.
***Smoke report! This is only after about 3 weeks of curing or less.
Taste is in point. Very rich thorough dough like taste with a very slight touch of spice, a very very slight touch of pine and also minor touch of kush like earthly musk followed by an exhale with a very pleasant minty or almost methanol like flavor or wintergreen taste. It is lacking that gassy, diesel like skunky bite that I hoped for but other phenos may bring it out. Very good, and also very smooth with no harsh hit at all. Burns very well. Loaded with trichomes! Frosty like we like it! Looks professional grade and I am very proud!
***Effects are very good. Some occasions have lead me to believe it is creeper more than anything but other times I notice it right away but still soft on set until you realize you are stoned! Pretty solid stooper of worry free wonder. It makes me feel untouchable. It's definitely a happy, euphoric feel followed by creative thinking. Maybe not so much physically but you could be productive on this because if the happy euphoric feel it delivers but no energy supplied here. It will slow your roll some for sure. My mood and situation as well as ability to relax after the smoke make the effects very but that is with any strain I have had.
I will be dropping at least 1 more at a time when space is available. I will train early knowing it may be an auto. Stay tuned for another Kush mints from Crockett's in the next month or two or knowing me day or two 😂 if there is room there is a way.
Thank you
