These seeds were dropped in a cup of Dutch Science seed and root last night, we are hoping that they are split open by this evening so we can put them in some paper towel soaked with the seed n root for another 24 hours. We do hope for a good germination for all three, we are excited to have a CBD strain to grow and like our Candy Girls (other new log) we would love to find a healthy hearty plant that will be strong enough to bloom outside next season. We are looking forward to seeing all of their strengths and we will be pleased if we avoid seeing any type of weaknesses. Fingers are crossed for these babies, the plan is to veg them and take some clones before we flip the light. It would be really nice to have them bloom under the natural sun, we can only imagine how these three tiny seeds will turn out and for now they take the lead in this adventure.
These girls have had a slow start but they seem to be on the move now, two of the three seeds have been planted in cups and the third is still in the moist paper towel. At one point we could see a very small tip of root but it seems to have died away, the other two established nice roots but they also took their time. Even then they both seemed to hold a dainty and delicate beauty about them, not fragile but precious in a way. Our plan remains to be the same, once they are big enough they will be cloned and than put into bloom shortly after. Truthfully, we are set on these girls and hope to have them for a long while. Our excitement builds as we go over the changes we hope to incorporate into our garden this spring, both for the plants and surrounding nature.
The week has been slow in movement for these girls, there haven’t been any issues thus far and we will be pleased to see them maintain great health as we continue forward. One has a few oddities that were visible from the start which could be a good or bad sign, it may not matter at all in the end. We will definitely be watching for any signs of weakness on both of these girls and we also hope they pick up the pace a wee bit now that we have rearranged our tents. So far so good, slow and steady!
Our little Angels are doing well, we are happy with the steady and slow pace they have taken especially when we consider our space at the moment! They seem to be in sync which is a good sign, absolutely no complaints this week and this is all we can hope for over the next few months!
How lovely these little girls are with their long leaves, they have been transplanted and to my disappointment I did not get any root photos. They are sitting in our 2X2 at the moment but as soon as they are ready we will take our clones and put them back into the other tent for a bloom run. As for defoliation, so far it’s been two leaves each! They are happy girls and we hope they stay that way, it is almost audition time after all!
As you can see these girls are in a bit of a state but they are on the mend, it is not hard for things to get out of hand in such a short time when you are busy making plans. They have been transplanted into Terra-Firma’s Coco Pro and inoculated with their MYCO 4, microbial mass and chito sol was used to condition the soil and hopefully it gives the roots a refreshing reboot! We will take our cuts as soon as they are well and then they will go into flower mode! These girls seem quite strong, it was not our intention to put them through this stress but we do note how well they have come through it. Come on girls, we got this!
These two are moving along and are feeling much better. We have pushed them pretty hard but they don’t seem to upset with us, we have had different grow room goals this year. The clones have been taken and although they could have used another week or so to recover we have set them into bloom stage already. It is nice to see the green coming back, let’s hope they get a groove on. Spring is coming!
*Note- pics are terrible today, there is a beast in my way. 💚✌️
As you can see these two girls are very different from one another, they have only begun to flower and number 1 is a bit of a problem. The top of her has been gently bent with wire to try to keep her under the light but she will most likely need to be placed in the corner of the tent very soon. It is safe to say she would be a beast outside but we have taken note of the time it has taken for both of them to transition into flower mode. This is a sure problem depending on how quickly they move now, if they won’t finish outside before the frost we know that there is no point in trying them outdoors. Fingers crossed they get a move on, we were really hoping for a CBD strain outside this year.
Well, as you can see in the photos we have had to remove one of our Angels. This was unexpected and though we are disappointed we are thankful that the pollen sacs had not yet opened. This chain of events occurred because of one nights mistake, the tent had been left open and we didn’t realize it for almost two hours. The worst part about this situation is the fact that we had the same thing happen to another plant a couple of weeks before this and for some reason we had forgotten the oops, assuming it was the plant itself we also removed two (very healthy and beautiful) planted clones from our veg tent. Sometimes the chaos takes you away, either way we are now down to one angel and she is a monster.
As you can see we have now had to bend her to fit under the light, we hope this does not upset her and it is also a possibility that this stress could have caused the the other plant to herm. Regardless it had to be done, it has taken a long time for any flower to develop so we know that she will not do well outdoors. Hopefully this one manages to kick into high bloom gear because we would really love to see her finish and she is way behind schedule.
Well as you can see the biggest plant in the room has been placed in the smallest tent. With many others needing space and light we thought this was the best move for this slow paced lady. So far she doesn’t have a scent and she is very busy for an indoor plant so this is not really the strain for us. There is no way she would finish up outdoors but we are going to honour her by trying to let her finish up inside, the lower parts of the plant seem healthier which we assume is because she is way to close to the light. We will see how she grows over the next couple of weeks, hopefully there will be an end in sight and a scent in the air!
It is sad to say but we had no choice but to take this girl down, practically speaking she was not a cost effective strain. We had hoped to let her finish but we did not see this happening anytime soon so we had to say goodbye. We are glad we took the time to know her before we tried to put her offspring outdoors. That’s how it grows! 👊💚✌️
@CannabisCultivate, You could try to top them one week before flipping to flower. Your plant was very big and pine shaped, they normally become very big. Topped plants get a shape of very big colas in an even formation (in you case could be topped in the middle).
Like, 8 branchs in the same level would give you a greeeeat plant.
Indoor plant need to be topped or tied, which i believe topping is better.
@Psilocubensis, This plant was to big for her surroundings and the top of her was burning in the light, she also was taking a very long time and we have to get on with our outdoor grow. If we lived in a climate that she could handle we would try again outside but we know she would never make it, our goal this indoor season was to do exactly this but it is a heartbreak for sure. 👊💚✌️
Hi, if you set her in flower outside, in spring, she will stop flowering. You know? I guess an fast strain would be better. You can clone them, and after a while she goes alone in flower. I recommend for you an Gelato 41 fast SEEDSTOCKERS. I love her. And the seed was Smaragdgreen. The plant was an Munster.
@KingSalomonsWeed, We always put them out while in veg state in May and they normally do not go into bloom until the beginning of August. Will have a look at the strain you suggest though, regardless Mother Nature is the boss outdoors!
