Got 2 out of the 3 in pots this morning. One is slightly behind the others so I will have to plant that one either tomorrow or Sunday. I will more than likely I only be bringing 2 to the veg stage, as one will likely be a backup in case something goes wrong with the stronger 2. Super excited about the Green Crack, as this will be my first attempt at a sativa, which is definitely my preferred type of bud!

Very happy with the progress so far! The 2 I planted on Christmas Eve popped through the soil the next day, while the 3rd plant in which I had to wait for the soil is definitely behind. Fingers crossed, they spent a couple of days putting down roots, but the growth above the surface has been pretty steady. Having some trouble with humidity, but I've learned I have to accept that living in the dry climate I do. Other than that, was a pretty uneventful week, hoping to see some explosion above the surface over the next week!

The week started off pretty slow. Then Tuesday night they really seemed to kick it into gear, and I have seen a lot or progress over the last few days! I decided to pull the 3rd plant early, as it was clearly behind the others. 2 plants is more than sufficient for just myself so a 3rd adds the burden of trying to find people to give the extra to. The plants themselves look really healthy so far though. Tough to tell, but I already have a couple side nodes going on each plant! I feel like this is the week where they are going to explode, so hopefully next week I'll have a better update for you. Still pretty boring overall, no lst/ trimming yet and still about a week away from starting my nutrient schedule.

Have to post this a day early due to a long weekend in the city, but have definitely seen some major growth! Until yesterday, they were both doing fantastic. I looked last night an the left one was pretty droopy, woke up this morning to that still being the case. My amateur guess is that it may have gotten a little too much water, but if it doesn't improve I will post a pic tomorrow asking for help. Overall, super happy with the progress made this week, hopefully next week will bring more results with a better ending!

Was definitely an interesting week! Came back from our trip and they were looking really good. The left plant which I now calling " Miss Finicky " continued her ways and drooped severely when watered. I was giving her half the water and she was still acting like I gave her too much. Turns out, I don't think she liked the Big Bloom. So I stopped giving it to her and since then I haven't had the issue! They are looking a little ugly at the moment due to their first lst, but I am excited to see all the bud sites developing and after a couple of middling attempts, have gotten a good tie down on both plants so I'm expecting the growth to explode over the next few days!

Think the girls are back on track! Today is officially day officially day 35, so a couple of days shy of the end of week 4. Finicky has not shown any of her previous issues in the past week, which has been phenomenal. Did a lot of lst this week, with very minimal defoliation. So far, I'd say this grow looks as good as either of my other 2 at this point. There are a few pistils starting, but I will consider next week the beginning of flowering! Very happy with the progress this week, and the plants seem to be hitting their stride because this last watering I had to give each of them 2x as much water as normal. I will continue to give them as much lst love as possible, I'm hoping to get them growing back in the right direction this week so they don't hang over the sides of the pots so much. As always, thanks for taking the time to read this update, wish you all the best of luck in your own growing endeavors!

Great week! Explosive growth was the theme, and over the past 3 days they've gained 4 inches. I was inspired by a few growers on here to do more lst this round, we will see if it pays off or not. Finicky is still doing very well, I would say she's outpacing the other plant at this point. Started my bloom nutrients, and began to wean them off the veg nutes. There are plenty of nodes for buds, but a lot of them haven't shot up yet like some of the main stalks. The right plant was looking a little droopy this morning, realized they were probably an inch too close to the light. Hoping to get another week of stretch out of them, but I could see them shifting into bud production mode soon. Excited to see what's coming up over the next few weeks, stay tuned ladies and gentlemen!

Went to do some lst on the girls a couple of days ago and they have really started to become pungent! Will have to hook up my carbon filter asap. The left plant is 17 inches, while the right is 14. She is also looking a few days ahead in terms of bud development, but at this point they're close enough where I should be able to harvest them together. I am thinking it is because the left plant has the 200w light, while the right has the 100w. In theory, I could either move them together or swap positions every couple of days, but I am interested to see how the wattage affects each plant. I keep posting a few days early, but today is day 48 of the grow, so almost 7 weeks in. I feel like they are on track to finish in about 5 more weeks, but who knows? Hopefully they continue to progress, and I will have another positive update for you next week!

Today is day 54 from planting, and I have a log of optimism that they will finish out strong! The girls continued to stretch until a couple or days ago. Then they seemed to slow down and start focusing on bud growth, which was a welcome site. I'm super happy with the lst on the right plant, the left was a learning experience. There are a handful of stalks that are 10-12 inches above the lower canopy, which is obviously and issue. The main stalks just got so stiff that I couldn't bend them without risking a snap, which I have had happen in both previous grows. They continue to be thirsty, drinking almost a gallon per day each. Unlike previous grows, I have been doing the full amount of nutes, as I've heard Green Crack is a particularly hungry strain. Not much else to report, should be close to the stage where I just try to maintain everything and hopefully watch the buds fatten up. Thanks as always for taking the time to check out this diary, wish you all the best in your growing endeavors!

Swapped the plants this week as I realized I could use the 200w light to cover both the smaller plant and the lower canopy of the larger one more effectively. Hopefully this will allow sufficient light to cover more of the plants, as the lower canopy of the larger plant was 30 inches from the light! Now since I can lower the bigger light to accommodate the shorter plant, I can cover the left side of the bigger one, lowering the light to 23 inches, which is definitely better. The buds don't seem to be filling in quite as quickly this time but they are definitely making progress! I am guessing about another month, but who knows? I'm going to let them take their time and let me know when they're ready. Other than that was a pretty uneventful week, as I'm kind of coming into the final stretch I have stopped the lst and only trim the leaves that are blocking bud sites. They definitely appear more stressed than they have been, with a lot of bright purple stems connected to the leaves, but to me they look healthy enough to make it to the finish line!

Not going to lie, with everything going on in the world right now, taking pictures of the plants was not high on my priority list. I basically snapped a couple of pics and took a couple of videos today and decided that will be it. This is not the place to get political, but I truly hope that against all odds by the time of my next post peace will have returned to Ukraine. In terms of the grow, plants seem to be doing great. Over the past couple of days, the buds have started to fatten up to the point where I think my yield will at least be on par with the last run. I'm still giving her another 3-4 weeks before I think they'll be finished up, but it honestly could be anywhere from 2-6 weeks, just have to wait and see. On a side note the plants are becoming more and more different, to the point where they don't even look like the same pheno. One plant has airy, larfy buds but has made some progress over past 24 hours towards tightening up a bit. The other plant has these fat, dense, stocky nugs that look very much like an indica strain, we will see how this affects the harvest. Thanks as always for taking the time to read my update, hoping for a more cheery update next week.

Today is day 74 since planting, so in theory I should have about 2 weeks to go. The taller plant will probably make that, the shorter may take an extra week or so. Overall, pretty boring week, as the buds are at the tail end of fattening up, should be right on the edge of ripening. The bud structures of the plant continue to be completely different, with the taller plant having a more typical sativa appearance while the shorter plant has dense, stocky nugs more like an indica. I'm just excited to see the end in sight. At this point in the grow I just want to harvest and start my next batch, but one of my growing mantras is " let the plant tell you when she's ready to be cut" so I will continue to wait impatiently until a vast majority of the trichomes are milky. Thanks as always for checking out my diary ✌️

Pretty good week overall! Day 80, I am posting a little early to coincide with my expected harvest in 2 weeks, and because today I officially started the flush! At this point I am anticipating the harvest between 5 and 14 days from now, depending on how quickly the buds finish ripening up. I am guessing the taller plant has about 75% red hairs and over 50% cloudy trichomes at this point. The shorter plant is slightly behind with maybe 40% of her hairs being red and maybe a third of the trichomes are cloudy. They have made a lot of progress over the past week, so🤞 they will continue that trend. Did a pretty decent defoliation on the shorter plant, due to some fan leaves that were blocking light from the lower canopy turning yellow. I have decided to try molasses with my flush water, hopefully that will improve my final product. One final note is the smell.... it is considerably stronger this time than either of my first 2 grows. Typically I do not bother with a carbon filter, but the smell was so strong it leaked in from my garage and permeated my entire house! So I added filter (and a very strong candle) and it seems to have helped the problem. Super excited for the harvest, will definitely keep everyone posted!

Just wonderful! Half was dry trimmed, half while still slightly wet, and you can totally tell the difference. The dry trimmed is amazingly pungent while the dry trimmed has a bit of a hay smell, hopefully the cure will fix that. Overall I'm very happy with my harvest. Surprisingly, the taller plant produced slightly more than the fatter one, with the tall having 154.6 grams dried and the fat one coming out to 143.2. I realized 4 days in it was drying too slow so that's why I decided to trim some while still damp and chop the rest up.I am going going to weigh one more time a few days into the cure, but I am pretty positive that I got just under 298 grams! A part of this was the fact that I made " crack balls" with the larfy understuff where I trimmed the leaves off then rolled it up into a ball, Will show pics during final update. I was correct, the bud structure was completely different between the two plants but the taller one produced much more than I thought. After my initial issues with the finicky nature of the plants, growing them was a blast. I think the molasses helped a lot, they bulked up right until the end and the smell is considerably stronger than any of my other grows. I REALLY hope the wet trimmed stuff comes around because the difference is unbelievable. Overall, I just want to give a big thank you to Seedsman and everyone who supported this grow ✌️

Hey man looks good. Just some advice to help out if I may. Cannabis plants love heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it. We can exploit this in veg and early flower to get more vigorous growth. Your temps are just a little on the cool side right now. I would aim for more in the low 80's at this stage and no more than 9 degrees less when the lights are off. We want the temp gap between lights on and lights off to remain within that margin all the way through veg & early flower or we will make our plants stretch which we want to avoid. Once they have finished their vertical growth by weeks 4-6 of flower we can then open up that temp gap and begin allowing for more than 10 degrees less when the lights go out because it will now instead signal the plants to put more energy into the budding process and resin production. By this stage we drop those lights on temps to around 77. We begin walking them down by weeks 2-3 of flower and as soon as their done growing vertically by weeks 4-6 begin opening up that temp gap. If we grow buds all the way through at temps over 80 they will be big but very airy. Lower temps we get more dense and frosted nugs but we do not want to be too cold too soon or we lose out on size. We want the best of size and density. If you do not have them already get yourself a thermal laser temp gun and a PAR meter to better read your plants and get the most potential from your lights. If you have yet to do so research VPD, Vapor pressure deficit and how it relates to growing cannabis. There are good charts out there to print off and follow day to day. Keep up the good work man if you have any questions please feel free to ask. If you got a minute check out my 200 light 7,000 plant diary and follow my profile and youtube for videos. Happy growing!

@JKent19, Hey man sometimes we have to do what we have to do. That is a large part of growing as well and you are making do very well my friend. Look at the DropAir humidifier on amazon. There are multiple of them on each floor of the grow in my diary & I also have one for my future tent tutorials. Also using a full bucket of water in the grow room with no lid will very decently passively raise the humidity it works especially well in a warm room. VPD in short form as possible is essentially making use of the humidity and temperature to dial in the plants to be at their optimal feed rate through both the stomata on the underside of the leafs & through their roots. It basically super charges the growth rate of the plants. You want to dial it in for different parts of growth there are great easy to understand charts online that will help with this. PAR meter is a device for reading the amount of light the sensor on it detects so we use it above our plants to see how much light they are receiving and can maximize the potential of our lights this way getting them nice and close and then use the thermal laser gun to read the temps on the tops of the plants themselves to make sure everything is dialed. Just launched our youtube with our first video so make sure you follow my growdiaries profile & sub to youtube for support! If you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask friend. Keep it up man!

@LegacyMarketFarm, I really appreciate the advice! The person who helped get me started growing lives far away, so there's only so much he can so to help. It's a little tough to keep my temp and humidity consistent due to my environment. I live in a high desert and it's super dry. At the beginning of this grow I had 2 powerful humidifiers going and couldn't get it above 50%. As you said, it's great for the mid to late flowering stage, but tough the rest of the time. As to remain legal, since I have a daughter, I have to keep the tent in my garage, which also makes it a bit more difficult. I have to put a heater outside of the tent due to it being winter. It seems like moving it back or forward 2 inches changes the temp by 5 degrees, haha! Not trying to make excuses but I'm definitely fighting the elements more rhis grow than during the spring, summer, and fall. I definitely will get a thermal laser, and research what you said. Just initial question is VPD like negative pressure in the tent? And is the PAR like the ppm meter? It's funny because I know enough to know there's a lot I still need to learn, but so far at least I have got lucky and managed respectable harvests! I will definitely check out your page, I actually have a little time to do some research right now.

@AsNoriu, yeah I'm definitely smelling a strong tone of mango. That's the only thing my two plants have in common is the smell. I'm going to try molasses with the flush for the first time, we'll see if it kakes a difference. I agree completely, my motto is "let the plants tell you when they are ready." They are starting to get close though, I would say at least 50% of the trichomes are cloudy and a majority of the hairs are red so I feel confident they will be ready in that 14 day time frame!

@JKent19, you never know, till you trim, then you can have a feel ... I learned one lesson, never hurry the thing you been caring about for last 3-4 month ... My one Northern Lights caught weight really nice in last 3 days, thought she will be sh1t, but she looks okeish even. And I never grew so much, but my grows are improving with every I do. My target was and always is - 100g plant. Somehow I make a bit more now ... ;)

@AsNoriu, also if my math is right I think you averaged 210.3 g per plant. We could either do the average of mine or we could compare to your 2 biggest plants. @AsNoriu, I'm also really happy that there's a good mix of buds. My first grow I let it dry too much so the buds all broke apart and I ended up with 6 ounces of popcorn buds. My 2nd grow a vast majority of it was huge nugs that didn't really dry super well. This grow I got a ton of small, medium, and large buds so that's definitely nice.

@AsNoriu, so the plant I got 153 grams off immediately had that fruity smell, I'd say mango with a grapey undertone. The bud with the fatter plants may not have been 100% dry when I trimmed them. I weighed them again recently and the weight had actually increased by 7 g but I think when I first put that plant in the jar it was too wet. It had a bit of a hay smell. I've been burping 2x per day and it's seemed to develop its smell but not nearly as strong as the taller plant. That one is no lie some of the best cannabis I've had since college, haha. I'd put it up against any stuff from the dispensary that's for sure!

@Stormgrown, thanks bud! I don't think I'm gonna get 7.5 ounces each plant like yours was but I'll be happy if I can get half a pound between the two of them!

@Ganja4Show, thank you very much! This has probably been my most challenging grow so far but I'm hoping it turns out! I wasn't even going to do a winter grow but I'm definitely glad I did.

@GanjaJack, thanks bud! Cautiously optimistic I'll get some pretty good weight. My goal is to beat my last grow, which was a little over 8 ounces for 2 plants. I'll post the next update Wed, but the flowers are definitely starting to fill in nicely. The reviews I have read on GC are right, she seems to need a lot more nutrients than my previous endeavors!
the end.
