For my first grow i have decided to try NYC diesel auto from crop king seeds. Please feel free to offer any insight and advice as I’m open to all the help I can get. Here is my game plan going in and I’m sure there will be plenty of changes as I go. I am growing just a single plant in effort to focus on just 1 and go from there. I’ll be using 5 gallon fabric pots with Fox farm ocean forest soil. I’ll be growing under 24 hours of light and Water only for seedlings, in vegetation and flowering plants plants will be watered as needed and fed using fox farm nutrients once a week. I will give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I’m going to try to do LST training by gently bending. Setup: Light Cycle 24/0 Viparspectra 450W LED Grow Tent 36”x36”x72” Medium: Fox Farm Ocean Forest Nutrients: Fox Farm 6” clip-on fan 12” floor fan Carbon Filter w/ 190cfm Fan

Well we are at day 12 of the grow and finally had a few good pictures to post. The growth has picked up significantly in the last few days and plant is now 2.5 inches tall and 3 rd set of leaves are starting to poke out. No real changes at this point in the grow just letting her do her thing. I did drop the lights down a bit to 26 inche. Does this seem like a reasonable height for this stage?

So I am now just getting rolling into week and the growth over the last several days has been amazing. Currently plant is at 6.5 inches tall and has been growing about 1/2 inch a day lately. I did drop the light just a small amount down to 22 inches to see how she does. I was starting to think of beginning LST on her soon and wanted to get your all’s thoughts on when it’s best to start? Also I do have a nice home made PVC frame for trying a scrog but wasn’t sure as I can’t seem to find much info on scrog and autos. Have any of you tried a scrog with autos or think it would be a good road to go down?

Big Bloom - Fox Farm
Big Bloom 2.642 mll
I started some basic light lst a few days ago in order to get more exposure to lower branches and then decided to try and use a scrog. My main reason for trying this was that it was hard to find much info about scrog and autos but also wanted to try and create a nice canopy as I have plenty of room and light. With the first flowers now appearing I did feed for the first time with fox farm. I used 10 ml big bloom and 5 ml cal mag in 1 gallon of water (1/4 strength nutes on tax farm feeding chart) at a ph of 6.5. I have the light hung at 20 inches above canopy to max out light spread and for continuity. From this point on I will feed once a week and water as needed while gradually increasing nutes based on fox farm schedule. I would love to hear your thought s and any feedback on this strategy. Thanks

Hey guys! I’m also starting out on my first grow and a couple of the plants are CropKing NYC Diesel. I’m currently running an 18/6 light schedule, GC 315W CMH 3K(currently running at 245W), 5 gallon pots, about 36 inches from the light. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey hey, plants lookn good but you’re probably not going to need a scrog net if just using lst with an auto. Scrogs are predominantly used when topping or fimming your plants to create that flat canopy. There prob won’t be much value to a scrog net for u on an auto grow. If you’re looking for more info on all things growing, try growweedeasy.com. The author (nebula haze) has great articles on all subjects with a search feature. Otherwise, you’re definitely in the right place here if you need help. There’s a ton of people on this site with a lot of experience. Feel free to reach out any time if in neeed. Cheers and good luck - she’s lookn good so far! 👊

Coming along nicely ;)

I've been keeping mine closer but am running at about half strength. I'm beginning to learn that tweaking LEDs power/distance is very situational and rig specific.
