Tropicana Glookies, supposed to a purple strain with tons of frost and med. to lrg sized nuggets. Strain is mostly SATIVA. Photoperiod genetics- Tropicana Cookies and GG#4. Flowering time- 9 weeks. thc- 21-29%. cbd- up to 1%. Started this seed with a 16 hr soak and then planted it in a mix, consisting of Happy frog soil, Pro-Mix hp with some worm castings and a sprinkle of Great White. We have life on the 27th of Dec. which we'll call day #1. After the plant is transplanted, I'll be feeding this plant Gaia Green as a base and some Emerald Harvest boosters and supplements. The light source will be Viparspectra's XS 2000(240watts), great light, great start, LET'S GROW!!! Happy NEW YEARS, thanks for stopping by👊, see you in a week!!

Happy New Years everyone!! I transplanted to a little bit bigger pot on the 31st and the plant hardly noticed. I mixed some happy frog , some pro-mix hp, some worm castings, some Dr. Marijane beneficials and a scoop of Gaia green 4-4-4 enough for two small pots. (Magic In A Pot)👌 Then watered in with some seed and root and the seedling is super happy!! Keeping the light(XS2000) around 30 inches above the seedling at 50% for now, I will be turning up the power a little a time in the next couple of weeks as the plant gets bigger.. Thanks for stopping by👊

Decided to switch up the nutes a bit and for this diary. I bought the grow, micro, bloom along with Emerald Goddess, Honeychome and King Kola all from Emerald Harvest Nutrients and I'll be using this line-up for the remainder of the grow along with some beneficials(Dr. M.J).So far so good, this plant is loving life in it's new home(7gal.) 28L pot. I mixed some happy frog and pro-mix hp. about half and half, and added 4 tablespoons of Dr. M.J. into the mix. I transplanted and watered in with Emerald Harvest Nutrients according to the feed chart. First time using this line of nutes , another experiment😑, so stay tuned.. Always Growing with Viparspectra, I'm really liking these lights and have produced some great results👍👍, solid product!!! Thanks for stopping by.. See you in a week👊👊..

Always growing with Viparspectra(XS2000).. Fed this plant twice this week, 1 liter at a time according to the feed chart from Emerald Harvest, plus I added some cali-magic(1mL/L). In the middle of the week she got 1 liter water with 4mL molasses and 2ml Dr. M.J. Keeping the light 30 inches above the plant and she's loving life with noticable growth daily. I added some old tent poles through the top of the pot, this will give me something to tie down the plant as she grows and I can extend the length of the poles with some cross pieces for some more tie downs, hoping to grow a big plant while trying to keep the height in check!! Always an Experiment😏😵😀.. Thanks for stopping by!!

The plant is about 30 inches under the XS 2000 which is running at approx. 75%. 0 issues so far, everything is looking good!! Thanks for stopping by👊👊..

Always growing with Viparspectra.. It's been a good week nothing to complain about, this plant is growing well so far with 0 issues. I've been feeding according to the feed chart with a watering in between, sometimes with molasses and sometimes with just plain water, trying to alternate. A couple days ago I mixed 2L water and 2mL epsom salts on the plain water day and within a few hours the plant was praying to the light and just looked really happy, the next day the pot was dry, Here we grow!!!!! Thanks for stopping by👊👊..

Wow, it's been a really good week for this plant, lots of growth considering that I'm doing some pretty aggressive trimming and training. The plant seems to like the nutes I've been using, but it's a bit of a pain to mix from six laundry soap bottles, If your growing 20 plants it might be a bit different, but for one or two plants it's time consuming and messy, sticking to powdered nutes once I use these ones up. Flipped to flower this afternoonand gave a nice feed of 3L water and 4mL honeychome with 2mL Dr. M.J. and I'll introduce Bloom to the feed schedule this week. So far 0 issues, the plant is happy, about 28 inches below the Viparspectra XS 2000 at approx. 65-70%. Always growing with Viparspectra!! Thanks for stopping by👊👊.. See you in a week..

Always growing with Viparspectra!!! Another first this week, I'm trying the scrog method. I flipped to flower last Sun. and tied the trellis net up on Mon. I gave two feeds with bloom and added some King Kola for the transition to flower.. So far so good, the plant is stretching a bit already, not to much I hope.. Let's GROW!!!!

Got some PURPLE 😍😍... I can't believe the growth in the last week or so, it's stretched around 4-5 inches and the buds sites are showing pistils and showing some purple already. This plant is quite a bit ahead of her neighbour, which is just starting to show some pistils. I've got the light( XS 2000) hanging at 26-28 inches above the plant running at 75%. I'm super happy with this plant, 0 issues so far. I'm keeping to the feed chart from Emerald harvest and adding some extra Honeychome and King Kola on just water days along with a little cali-magic. Thanks for stopping by👊👊.. See you in a week!

Hey everyone, hope all is well 👊👊.. Well I never expected this, this is only the third week of flower, WOW!!! I'm keeping the light(XS 2000) at 24 inches above the plant at 75% , Always Growing with Viparspectra👍.. I've been keeping to the early flower feed chart from Emerald Harvest and adding some cali-magic once a week. She's drinking 3L every second day, has almost stopped stretching and is turning more purple everyday😍.. See you in a week!!

All I can say is WOW!!! Keeping the light at 22'' above the canopy at 80% power. Sticking to the mid-flowering feed chart and adding some cali-magic on water days. This plant is getting ssssticky already and has a very aromatic smell, not sure how to describe it.. Always growing with Viparspectra.. Always happy when I'm growing😄...

Amazing growth under the XS 2000, this plant is really happy, putting on the weight and getting more colourful everyday. I'm sure glad that I picked up a new carbon filter because the smell coming out of my tent is something else, two strains both sativa's, kind of hits you like a punch in the face😍.. Started the late flowering feed schedule last Sun. and adding some King Kola, Honeychome and cali-magic on just water days. 0 issues so far, this plant has stayed a beautiful shade of green for it's entire life with the powerful looking purple buds starting very early.. Super Happy with this grow and the way this plant took the manifolding and intense training, will definately grow this strain again👌.. Thanks for stopping by👊👊.. See you in a week!!

All I can say is WOW!! The buds keep getting noticeably bigger and more dense everyday with a thick layer of frost coming way out onto the leafs. The buds are taking on that classic sativa look with dark purple undertones, not to sure about the smell yet, kinda makes your mouth water😋.. Running the light, the XS 2000 at approx. 20'' above the plant at 100% power and she couldn't be happier, 3L water with food every third day according to the ripening feed chart(starting this week) by Emerald Harvest. 3 weeks to go before the chop, at least that's what Canuk seeds says, we'll see.. Hope all is well👊. See you in a week!!!

Hey everybody, Hope all is well👊👊... It' been a great week under the Viparspectra XS 2000, still at 100% power, but I raised the light up a few inches as I noticed some of the bud tips getting a little crispy. This plant has slowed down lots, it was drinking 4L every 2 days now it's 3L every 3-4 days. I'll be feeding according to the ripening feed chart for the remainder of this week then I'll flush for a week or so. I've been looking everyday and there are very few amber trichomes, but most are cloudy with quite a few purple ones👌.. The end is in sight, can't wait!!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Another week under the XS2000, Great Light👌... Not much to say, just flushing with plain water now. Raised the light up a couple inches and turned the power down to 80%, the plant is finally starting to fade and some really nice colours are showing up. I'm able to get the temp down to 18-19c at night with the help of a small duct fan blowing some cool air off the basement floor right into the tent.. Got my new tent on FRI. , 10'x5' Fusion Hut (1680D material), set it up last night and now I'm working on some ventilation and power for the new grow room. Going to fill the room with tents, this way I don't have to renovate the ugly room, notice the floor and the pukey looking colour on the walls. It was supposed to be a reno project but with a little convincing and a few promises to fix some things around the house and my WIFE gave me the room😎.. I'll start growing mostly veggies and a few flowers in the tent, enough to get the outside garden and the greenhouse going this year. With the price of everything going up I'll be growing veggies, herbs, peppers and a coulpe of AUTOS😏 in the tent all winter long starting next fall. The room should be done soon I'll post some more pics next week.. Thanks for stopping by👊

All I can say is WOW!!! These buds are such a deep purple that there almost black😋😋. Chopped this plant on Fri. the 15th, took about 3.5 hrs with my Wife and I taking on the task. Very sticky with a smell like a flower garden, Weird. I ended up with about a gram of purple scissor hash, What a treat😀. We stripped off all the stalk and gave a pretty good trim and put it in the dry tent on Fri. Wet weight- 543grams of bud.. 324 grams of lrg. bud. 219 grams of sm. bud. and a bag of trimmings to make some dry sift hash, can't wait. Big shout out to Viparspectra, the XS 2000 is a great light, low power draw, dimmable with a full spectrum that the plants just love. Good for a 2x4' tent or put two in a 4x4' tent, that's what I have and I'm super happy with the coverage👌.. Always Growing with Viparspectra.. New diary coming up shortly, thanks for stopping by👊.. Dry weight and smoke report.. 153 grams(5.5 oz) of dry purple buds, Amazing😋... The smoke report is good considering it just came out of the tent. Doesn't taste or smell like hay, has a weird smell, just DANK!!! Super happy, should be premium herb after a few weeks in the jar...

@Ganjah_gr0wer,Thanks👊.. I sure learned alot in the last couple years, mostly from the great people on this site. You can read alot of magazines and do your research online or wherever, but nothing compares to talking to and growing along with all kinds of growers who are looking to harvest big sticky BUDS👌👌.. I think it makes a huge difference to be able to see other people's plants and the way they do things and you change it up a bit and do your own thing😵😃 The EXPERIMENT continues.. Later!!

@northernMike, Nice, I love when the gas is dank. I grew some Moby dick from Canuk, and it didn't let me down, I think they are a lot more selective on which strains the breed with. Premium weed is what we're all looking for you though man I commend you for sharing your journey with us. keep it up

@Ganjah_gr0wer,I've grown a few strains from Canuk Seeds, autos and photo's and have had great success. My Strawberry Banana was my best photo so far, take one bud out of the jar and it smells up the whole house. Premium weed👌👌..

Nice growth 🍻👍 if you're interested in trying out organic living soil thegreensunshineco.com has a great premixed product called Earth Dust it's dry amendments in two bags one mixed into the soil to start then two top dressings for flower and water that's it. No more testing water just put a simple filter on your hose to catch the chlorine and water straight from your hose. I use the stuff and I like it, I don't work for them or benefit from any sales I'm just sharing my experience... good luck 👍

@Cyrusdavirus,Thanks Much👊👊.. I've had great success with Gaia Green but I've only used the two products, 4-4-4 and 2-8-4. I really like the Dutch Sciences line-up, also organic. No more liquids for me after I finish with the Emerald Harvest, Not saying it's a bad product or anything, plants seem to like it. It's just not for me, why pay for water? Still keeping an eye open for an organic bud booster to use late in flower, I used to use organic Big Bud from advanced nutrients, but I can't get that in Canada anymore. RQS has some easyboost nute sticks, also organic, can't get that in Canada either, got to wonder why? Thanks again.. GROW BIG!!!

Cyrusdaviruscommented3 years ago
@northernMike, ah I see, just saw you were having issues with the laundry bottles 😆 and thought I'd share what I use. I've heard good things about the Gaia I wanted to try it but it wasn't available in the states. A friend had suggested the es lights to me and I found their dust nutrients I've been using them probably close to two years now. I guess I can get Gaia here now but I'm happy with what I have now. I've been looking into those Grow Dotts and have been thinking about trying it out though I don't know if you've seen em they sound pretty simple and I like simple 😆 Good luck Sir and happy growing 😁🍻

northernMikecommented3 years ago
@Cyrusdavirus,Thanks👊.. I have the ES 180 v3 but I can't get the Earth Dust shipped to Canada for some reason? I'm growing Cindy 99 100% organic using Dutch Sciences, really happy with their nutes. I use Gaia Green as well, just the 4-4-4 and the 2-8-4 for flowering, I try and use these nutes for auto's because it's a little harder to overfeed and burn your plants and auto's don't need lots of food anyways.. My other two diaries are an experiment with two different non-organic nutes, both seem like good nutes, but I'll be getting away from the liquid nutes as soon as there used up, powder is much easier and takes up way less space on my shelf.. Thanks again👊..

northernMike
northernMikecommented3 years ago
@Sparkles,Thanks👊.. Both these plants took the top and chop like champs💪... I think I'll be getting rid of all liquid nutes once I use them up, 6 bottles with the Emerald Harvest + a cal-mag, 1-2mL from all 6 bottles everytime you feed compared to 1 scoop of powdered nutes, way easier, and your not paying for water.. Later!!!
