ahandsomesnail No nutrients this week and none expected for the next few weeks. Also taking a risk by not having pH'd the tap water I'm using to feed -- hoping it's fair to say that the FFOF soil will help maintain a reasonable pH! TODO: - spray bottle to increase humidity - circulation fan to help with temperature spikes (tops out at 86F currently) - coordinate lights off time w/ when room heater turns on at night to help reduce temperature drop

ahandsomesnail Still no nutes this week. Got a small fan and spray bottle en route! Moved the tent to another closet outside of the bedroom where the heater won't be on as often so hopefully that helps with the high temps!

ahandsomesnail Delilah started growing tilted probably due to soil being displaced while watering. Decided to not try to straighten her out and will use this as a "starting point" for LST. 5th node of leaves is starting to show -- I'm a bit on the fence on topping once a little more growth appears. Temperatures are consistent 78-82F during lights on and 70F lights off. Humidity still low at 40% -- spray bottle has been delayed from Amazon :( maybe there are other ways to increase humidity? Starting to think about nutes now... I'd like to keep this as simple as possible. One option is to just use Tiger Bloom or some other flowering nutrient. Anyways, thanks for checking out the grow! Hoping everything turns out alright but getting a bit nervous...

ahandsomesnail I went on a weekend trip and came back to see Delilah starting to flower. It seems a little early -- only 3 weeks of veg but anyways, she's looking healthy and I'm excited. I think the humidifier definitely helped. Her stem is thicc and leaves look good. I got some Fox Farm Tiger Bloom fertilizer that I'll include soon. Actually ended up not feeding this week since she's looking so healthy still! Also installing the carbon filter so hopefully the 4" inline fan is still able to keep temps reasonable. I know I'm supposed to keep humidity down to prevent bud rot but should I remove the humidifier now? Or wait until buds are further along?

ahandsomesnail Started doing more aggressive LST this week - everything is going well! There was one branch that I was a bit too aggro on and it split but Delilah recovered like a champ. I think we'll definitely start with 1/2 strength nutes next watering probably on day 30/31 depending on how the soil feels. Getting really excited now!! Also, she's starting to smell so I have the carbon air filter attached to the 4" inline fan w/ some ducting and that is working well. Temps are reasonable - maxing out at 80F. Cheers all! I'm noticing some very minor Nitrogen deficiency with the oldest leaves yellowing -- I think this is ok. I also notice some Calcium deficiency and will be mitigating with some CaliMagic in the next feeding.

ahandsomesnail Delilah is looking great! Humidity has been a struggle so far and I think one reason was because I had my exhaust fan turned to 100% with the idea that it would help keep temps low. However it ended up keeping humidity low (30%) even with the humidifier. A few days ago I tried lowering the exhaust fan to min power to see if humidity would stay up around 50% and that worked and temps stayed the same! Sticking with 1/2 strength nutes this week, will feed every other feeding which is about twice a week. I've been watering about every 2-3 days so far -- just when the soil is dry about a inch deep. I'm wishing that I didn't LST as late into flower as I did but oh well -- learning experience for next time! Cheers all :)

ahandsomesnail We’re still at half strength nutes and Delilah is loving it! Smells great and the buds are getting thicker every day. Can’t wait!

ahandsomesnail Did 2tsp/gal of Tiger Bloom last wk (one feed, one water no nutes) and saw some nute burn so not going to add nutes to this week's watering. Delilah's pistils seem to have burnt (?) quite a bit. I can't tell if its heat related or maybe wind related? The buds beneath the main canopy have white pistils but the ones on top have burnt amber pistils. Not sure what's causing this or if it is even a problem. Anyways we're still humming along! I'm going to be out of town 2nd wk of March so estimating that I'd need to harvest around day 70-75 -- hopefully she's ready then too!

ahandsomesnail Fed 2tsp and Delilah noticeably swelled up the next day which was awesome to see. Heat is definitely becoming an issue -- I have the 4" inline fan on MAX power through the inline filter which TBH seems way too weak. I can barely feel the exhaust airflow so no wonder temps are 80-85 and if the humidifer runs outs then it's easily 90+ in the tent :( Doesn't help that I need to keep the closet closed while the little one is running around. I'll need to figure out a better exhaust situation for the next grow -- maybe even a bigger tent since the 18" x 18" x 48" is pretty tight... Anyways, no sense in being so negative this is my first grow in years and I've still proud and hoping for a successful harvest :)

ahandsomesnail Leaves are yellowing and buds are getting bigger :) Trichomes are mostly clear so we're probably a few weeks away still

ahandsomesnail I think chop day is nearing! Buds seem to have swelled a little once more especially the lower ones beneath the main canopy. More amber trichomes and foxtailing too. Gooooo Delilah!
