Now that I have cleared out the old its in with the new.
My 2x4 mother tent has had some room made after clearing out the old mother plants.
Decided today it's time to pop the Crescendo seeds into water. I'm keeping two seeds for back up, 3 are soaking now.
Will be transferred to paper towel tomorrow and will update once tap roots shoot out.
Updates
Dec 31st - seeds had a 22ish hour soak in the bottle, they appeared to be starting to crack open, transferred into paper towel today.
January 1st - tap roots out, ready for soil. Put into a lightly amended soil consisting of:
6 Litres promix HP
2 Litres worm castings
2 Litres perlite
2tbs myke veg and herb
1tbs kelp meal
1tbs gypsum
1tbs 444
1tbs 284
Just did some quick math and that ends up around .4tbs/gallon of each amendment.
Put into solo cups and put in 2x4 tent under a misted dome, have mars tsl-2000 at lowest power.

Will update when they break soil.
Jan 3rd - P3 had something weird happen. It somehow ended up on top of the soil, husk, tap root and all, just laying on top of the soil. I poked a small hole in the soil and rolled it back in, and lightly covered and misted it.
Jan 4th - had to help P2, and P3 ditch their helmet and membrane, guess I didn't bury them deep enough. P1 had no issue with the same depth, either way, they are all up. Will give them till day 7 and start the veg week in diary.
They are above soil and facing the light. Week 1 veg begins..
Will update throughout the week.
Had a couple hiccups during germination phase, but nothing that had any detrimental effect.
So far ethos seeds are 6/6 germination and agressive out of the gate.
Finally got around to transplanting the Crescendo today. They got tossed into 1 gallon pots with promix hp, worm shit , perlite, and Gaia 4-4-4.
Update Feb 9 added pics.
Not much to say, plants are growing. Plant 1 is showing a bit of fading. Not sure if it is lack of nutrients or overwatering. Leaving them to dry right out and will reassess from there.
Plants are almost ready for topping and transplant to larger pots. Quickly running out of space again. Everything in the 2x4 is waiting on transplants to 3 gallon pots. Need to figure out a way to make more room..
Sorry guys and gals, life got busy, and the grow room had no room. Finally made some space and transplanted the Crescendo ladies into 3 gallons. They will sit in those for the next few weeks until I can move some more stuff around. Tangie cookies starts flower tomorrow so 8-10 weeks and I'll have plenty of space.
Update. The dimmer switch in the mars TSL-2000 has bit the dust (light flashing randomly). Contacted mars and they confirmed the dimmer switch is junk, and charged me shipping for a new one. For the mean time I reduced the light output using the drivers (pull the tiny rubber plugs and use a small phillips screwdriver) and disabled the dimmer function of the dimmer switch.
Got an update from mars hydro... Despite charging top dollar for shipping the part will take 20 days to get here.. Not impressed.
Long story short, shit happens, grow log got left behind. Will be running crescendo again after I determine which pheno I am keeping. Will know after I burn through a couple ounces.
