This time was the first time in my life I used salted butter somwhere I read it is good because salt has a higher smoke point so.
Fortunately, the taste is fine when I make tea with sugar replacement I can't feel the salt but if I eat pure then it appears badly lol.... it is okay for toppings like toast....
I will stick with normal one next time as I used to do but actually no difference only the taste if it is pure.... I drink as a tea so I do not really need any salt do I?
Okay so I uploaded the steps in order so you can see how I did but I also write it down here:
1. Fristly I picked the quantity and the types, measured and mixed.
2. I prepared the oven to be 230-250Β Fahrenheit or 110- 120 Celsius degrees as you like so make sure it does not exceed more than that otherwise the THC will degrade and you end up with less potent or in a wrost case senario the butter is useless.
It is much easier to make butter than an oil as the oil gets so hot it is hard to keep the temperature properly.
I used an oven thermometer to see and track the temperature π‘οΈ
3. Make sure you cut (grind) the buds the finest you can it helps to have better result.
Sometimes open the oven and mix it plus whenΒ you see it smokes it needs less temperature so make sure you stand there lol....
One more thing: if you have very fresh flowers and you can not make it very fine it is okay. Cut it as much as you can and later just take out from the oven and it will be crispy anyways so after you can grind it unlimited haha. :)
4. Prepare the butter itself you choose ok?
So just melt it properly...
5. When both are done just mix them, add water and check in it in every half an hour keep the flame very low.
Whe you see it gets thicker or you think more water needed do it. I usually add like 100- 150ml in every hour.
6. Keep mixing time to time and check it to not to be burned yes you are chained to be there a lot....
7. Cook it minimum for 4 hours sometimesΒ I do 8 hours but you will see actually when it is getting there.
If you want less water obviously cook it till' it is gone so the next day you need to sperate less water.
8. When it is done just kindly strain it with a muslin cloth and leave it to cool down. The leftover flowers are rubbish lol....
I placed (filtered it) in a plastic container with muslin cloth.
9. When it is not hot anymore you can placeΒ it in the freezer for overnight and be anxious to try next time lol....
10. Te water acts as a separator during the cooling stage so it will appear under your butter it is easy to separate let's say by a knife.
When it is ready you can remove from your container it depends how: Mine as it was a plastic one and it was frozen I just started pushing the sides and the butter is out.
You can also use hot water you place the butter container in it just a bit it helps the water will be thawed and that's all...
11. Remove the excess water if any and clean your butter. Just cling film.
11. Try your butter but do not forget to measure. I always start with 4 grams in case if it is strong.
Mine is actually now the weakest butter I have ever made I needed like 12 gramm to have a good stoned time lol
But it is very smooth and good.
I was nicely in seduction... hehe I am just drinking now as we let's date it 2nd of January 2022 lol....
And then when you found out the quantity that gives you satisfaction you can portion it so next time just place it in you cup or on the top of your brownie whatever....
So yes it has very good medical value especially if you use proper nice quality buds.
Yes you can count how how much is my weed THC content etc.... but listen to me I have a really great experience with it and also some diaries up here so I say:
My rule is 15 to 20g if you cook with 500g of butter and 5-12g if you go with 250.
Obviously if you add the maximum you need to expect a strong high even from 4g of butter so you can count how many portion it will be then...
Be careful but at the same time don't forget to enjoy....
Thank you guys hope you find it good I do haha
Love you Happy New Year :)
