chicagobasementgrower Flipped to flower. Changed from 18-6 light schedule to 12-12, added the two scrog nets, and removed the weakest branches that wouldn't make it to the net.
chicagobasementgrower Defoliated some leaves that were going vertical and covering bud spots.
The PPM was getting a bit too high, with one bucket having 1600 or so. Feeding with PH-balanced water until it drops down to healthy levels again, like 1000-1200.
chicagobasementgrower Since I over-fed last week, this week I used the Medium Feed of the 10-part GH Flora Series nutrient chart, aiming for 800-1000 PPM.
chicagobasementgrower Finally getting some good bud growth. I'm surprised the white pistils have remained white and mostly straight until now. Only a few buds are showing orange curlies.
I realized that I've been keeping the temperature too low (attempted a bro-science move of keeping temps at 68-72 in attempt to bringing out any possible purple colors), so I'm going to bring up the tent's temperature to mid-high 70's in hopes of these buds maturing faster
chicagobasementgrower Last week I increased the temperature, and a day or two into the week, I realized my relative humidity had dropped from 48-50 to 40-43, with lows overnight at 33. I added a humidifier to the tent and now there's a minimum 45-50% RH. There were also a number of burnt leaves in one corner of the tent that I think were affected by last weeks' temp increase of 3-4 degrees. I'll likely keep going another week or two before harvesting.

chicagobasementgrower Last week before the chop. At the ninth week I was finally getting some amber/cloudy trichomes
This was my first time growing this strain, so it's hard to say what was the genetics vs environment, but overall I'm happy with how it turned out. I'm looking forward to the 2nd grow of Skywalker to see if I can improve on size and density of buds.

chicagobasementgrower I dried for 10 days, didn't bother getting the wet weight. After the 10 days I weighed everything and it came to 10oz for the 3 plants. Now they're sitting in Grove bags for curing and storage. The smell is pretty nice, and there's more density in these buds than my last grow. Overall I'd rate the quality at a 7.5/10. would grow again.
