I've been growing for a little over a year. I feel like I'm almost to "@ssclown" level as a grower. I've run Purple City Genetics twice and they've been consistently great despite my limited skill set. 4 week veg cycle starts 1/4/22. These plants have rooted in Autopots for 12 days with hand watering prior to starting veg. -I'm changing to Mills Nutes from Growth Science Nutrients. GSN produced some great plants, but I think the Mills will be much better and maybe with less additives. I'm open to any comments or questions. Started light dimmer on 7, will go up 1 per week.

Using Mills Nutrients as directed. Starting at the high end of medium nute concentration (according to Mills mix charts). The only additives i plan to use are FoxFarms Bushdoctor Microbe Brew (bi-weekly) and unflavored Sweet Raw (carb additive) in flower. Do I need Terpinator?

Starts 1/11/22, lamp dimmer to 8, diverted to follow the low end of Mills' high feeding level. No root tea this week. Bi-weekly application of Fox Farm Microbe Brew root tea is the only additional productt I'm using this run. Used Mills Vitalize as foliar spray last week and will continue 1x per week through final week of veg and diatomaceous earth(organic, food grade) 1x per week for the first 3 weeks as insect/mite pm.

My clones call for 9 weeks in flower. If flowers are on a 9 week cycle, do I flush in week 9 or add the flush week (week 10) to the end?

That flower time usually means ready to chop at 9 weeks.. IF you flush like mouse said do it a week or so ahead of chop date. Im not sure about auto pots but if you’re in a soilless medium it only takes 5ish days. I don’t flush either I just taper EC down slowly the last 10 days or so.. The problem I foresee with your auto pots is they’re bottom fed no? So you’ll have salts in there you’ll wanna flush from the top I would think. May be wrong about how those work.. but then again you could just taper down the nutes as suggested. Maybe drop 20% every couple of days and last couple days be around 0.5-0.8 EC depending on your water source

Using Fox Farms Microbe Brew at the end of the week. Added heat and humidity has boosted growth significantly. Autopots are super handy when you want to leave for a few days. Week 3, day 1 is 1/18. Also applying diatomaceous earth powder and Mills Vitalize as a foliar spray this week.

Week 5, day 1 is Feb 1, 2022. My 2nd favorite part of the grow, behind final harvest. I love watching the nodes turn into flowers. Mills is a much different nutrient line in transition compared to the GSN I was using. Mills keeps stepping up the A & B weekly, but the additive remains the same until week 3 of flower. Some comments on the plants: Grandi Guava is taller than expected. Waiting to see if it keeps up with the sativas during stretch. It's ok with training but grows straight up from the tie-down points. Really stiff branches, built for heavy buds. NYC Piff #3 are easy to train. They will branch straight out with little effort. Soft, supple branches that are easy to manipulate. Multiple toppings have kept them short to this point.

Week 2, Flower starts 2/8/22. That will be day 8 of 65 until harvest. Didn't expect to but needed a serious pruning 2/9 to get the canopy in shape. All looks good heading into the week. Had some pH issues last couple weeks as I added Microbe Brew to fertilizer without pH'ing again. Corrected the issue by adding directly to each autopot mixed and pH'd with ro water between weekly fertilizer change. I'm a sativa guy, but like variety so I wanted to run the Grandi Guava. It is a beast of a plant so far. If you like to grow Indicas, I'd grab a cut of this. Kindpeoples, Harborside, California Street and Sanctuary are some places to check if you're in the Bay Area.

The Grandi Guava and the NYC Piff are both supposed to be 9 weeks in flower. The GG is 8-10 days ahead of the Piff. My plan is to do a 5 day flush in week 9 and harvest the GG. Then do another week or 2 of fertilizer then flush the Piffs. By the end of week 4 the Piffs finally put some effort into stretching and are catching up to the GrandiGuava. Even though the Piffs a re supposed to be 9 weeks in flower, they look more like 11 weeks at this point.

On the road this week so I setup the fert change a day early. Week 5 in flower starts Tuesday 3/1, will update pics then. Week 4 of flower went great. Looks like all is in p!ace (fingers crossed) for a nice run. Going to hit them with a week of sweet raw unflavored prior to late bloom (week 6). Continuing with lite application of Terpinator until flush. Since the GrandiGuava is way ahead of the Piffs, I plan to do a 5 day flush prior to harvesting that one, then do 10-14 days of late bloom fert and another 5-7 day flush on the Piffs before harvesting them.

Going into Week 6 of flower. New pics Tuesday, 3/8. It's warm outside, but lots of frost in the flower tent! Final pics of the week up. The GrandiGuava looks great. The Piffs will be ready for their close-ups in a couple weeks.

Thanks for stopping by! Week 7 of flower starts 3/15/22. So far it's been smooth going, except for the plants being off synch. Have my contingency in place and learned a few things, as always. I wasn't unhappy with my previous fertilizer, but Mills looks like a step up at this point. As usual #purplecitygenetics #pcgcuts delivers the highest quality genetics. Their genetics make me look like I know how to grow weed. The NYC Piffs are really starting to express their sour terps and are stacking up nicely. Will be keeping an eye out for Grandiflora seeds to grow later this year as the GrandiGuava is a really nice cultivar. Have an awesome day!

Thanks for dropping by! Looking good going into final week of fert for the GrandiGuava. Will disconnect from Autopot system and hand flush, so the Piffs can continue without interruption for another 2 weeks. Pics speak for themselves. I'm not the best grower but #HLG lighting, #MillsNutrients and genetics by #PCGcuts in collab w/ #Grandiflora and #PiffCoastFarms make me look competent. Huge week for genetics - I picked up seedlings of Sango and GovernMint Oasis (by PCG). Sango is Cuban Black Haze X Gush Mints and GovernMint Oasis is GMO x Gush Mints. Since they're all seedlings I'll have to run them to find a keeper or 2 from each strain. And, even though I have $$$$ worth of seeds in storage, I had to go get Comprende by Wolf Pack Selections - Ya Hemi (Grandiflora Genetics) x Cheetah Piss. So I covered my desire for more Grandiflora Genetics in a sativa leaning (hopefully) cultivar. Have an awesome week! R

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I'm away until Friday, so I'll disconnect the GrandiGuava from the Autopot system Thursday night and hand flush for 5 days, starting 4/1. I'll let the Piffs do their thing for a couple more weeks before they get flushed and harvested. Which should leave me 3-4 days to sterilize before I plug in my PCG Sango and Mango grow into the flower tent Autopots. And the Piffs are finally ready for their closeups. Close to done with this run. Hope you've liked it so far. R

Hi and thanks for stopping by! The Grandi Guava is in flush. Probably going to harvest 4/13 before the lights come on. Will start flushing the Piffs around then too. Lowered the A & B slightly as the Piffs start to wind down. Pretty much done talking about it, I can't wait to smoke this shit! Between finishing flush, dry and cure the Grandi Guava should be 4-5 weeks out. Hope you liked the pics.

I don't give 10's to anything. And I prefer sativas. The pics speak for themselves. The branches were thick and strong early on. She can be trained but will turn straight up from any tie down points. Good resistance to pests and pm. The look, yield (1 of 4 plants in a 2x4 tent, only 2 sq ft) and smell (garlic, burnt rubber) are all on point. On a side note I've seen this cut online for 750.00

Hi and thanks for stopping by! For anyone in the SF Bay Area who loves to smoke and grow Indicas, this is a plant for you. I'll say again, my skills as a grower are modest, at best. This was 1 of 4 plants in a 2'x4'x7' tent and there is a lot of great weed there. I'll give a weight and the pre-curing pics in 10-14 days. Just about the time I'll harvest the NYC Piffs. Which are also getting fat. Unfortunately, life is calling this week, and I'm gonna have to answer. This harvest and pics were rushed. Will get better ones up shortly. #purplecitygenetics #PCGcuts #Grandiflora #GrandiGuava Have an awesome day! R

Very branchy - super frosty - very sour and smelly - yield looks like it will be great. My issue was they were supposed to be 9 weeks in flower and were 12. Not that I care, but be more accurate than that, these were clones. (-2 stars)

Hi and thanks for stopping by! This plant is really branchy, I could've done a much better job controlling undergrowth during stretch, especially since they ended stretch in week 5. This is the production form 3 plants (of 4 total) in a 2x4x7 tent. The yield from these 3 plants was just under 9 oz. Yield for the 4 plants in total was 11.25 oz I have plans to special cure this to bring out the sour terps. Curing at 50 degrees for 3-4 weeks after dried, We'll see how that does. I'll do the smoke review at that point and see if I learned anything. Have an awesome day! R
