I germinated the seeds in plain tap water (averages about 7.9 ph). After soaking for 12 hours I placed them into a damp paper towel. After 36 hours they were showing taproots and were placed into soil. Plastic baggies were placed over the cup to hold humidity. Unfortunately we had a power outage with freezing temps during the last few days. The plants still seem to be growing but at a slight slower rate.
This week the seeds continued to grow with water and 5ml of clonex per gallon. One seed had a twin seedlings so I separated them( one is moving really slow with deformed leaves). Two plants are really taking off and starting to reach the outside edge of the solo cup.
Continued watering every other day. #1 #2 and #3 have all been transplanted into 1 gallon containers. I used Mycos to help root development. The water has ph of 6.0. 3 ml of calmag per gallon.
Feeding every other day with tap water(well) with a ph of 6.0. Temp fluctuates between 60-70 degrees. 3ml of calmag per gallon of water. They are looking healthy! Love the duck foot leaves.
On the day of this photo I topped #1, #2, and #3. I have switched the light cycle to 24 hours. These plants are growing strong and sturdy. I transplanted the twins (#4 and #5) from solo cups to 1 gallon containers. Top fed with Gaia green 4-4-4. Water is at 6.0ph with 3mls per gallon of calmag.
This week I transplanted the biggest two into 3 gallon containers. They were top dressed with Gaia Green 4-4-4. Mykos was used for root development. Watered with 6.0 PH (well water). Switched light cycle from 24 hours to 18 hours.
